Romance › Re: Any Girl Who Doesn't Ask For Money Doesn't Love You by SweetyZinta(f): 11:08am On Jun 08, 2020 |
Greenbullet: I hear guys saying all girls are gold diggers at any small request, but why refer to a girl as a gold digger if you can not care for her needs.
Many people venture into relationship these days and most male partners do not understand their role, one basic role is your ability to provide for your household, if you can not do this then you are not a man but a weakling, if your female partner request for money most times it is not to "gold dig" rather is it to test your financial capacity and reasoning.
I wonder how some guys think "if she loves me she won't ask for anything". Excuse me are you all right? She loves you and intends to spend her life with you so she is trying to assess what your financial limits are so she can add to it or know how to request.
Imagine a boyfriend not being able to pay for his girlfriend's hair or even buy her a new shoe or even just give her money to buy foodstuff, and saying " am I her parents?" Well you are more than that because the moment you asked her into your life, you also asked her needs and accepted her as your responsibility.
PLEASE STOP DATING IF YOU CAN'T LEARN THE MAIN responsibility ATTACHED TO IT I solely agree with you. I don't encourage women to become parasites or extravagant in their demands though. But as a boyfriend and a potential husband, you should be able to provide cash to your girlfriend and potential wife from time to time. |

charlesELIKIBA: oh wow. this has got to be my best read so far. you maybe right about comparison because sometimes I feel anything my cousins are today is out of their fathers wealth and not a fresh beginning like mine. that's the only comparison I can think of truth is for me I have blamed my own mother the most, you know for giving me out. to be honest if I have anger for anyone on if I was treated differently, that anger will be on my mother. and this has affected our mother, son relationship.... it's not there at all. I am beginning to think I know what to do.
it's just poped on me after reading what you wrote. maybe my uncles wife is expecting of me like a son because I have refused to recognise my mother as my true mother. just maybe this is the connection that needs to be broken. I need to love my mother more and unconditionally.
I think I need to talk to my mother about how i feel. oh boy can belive I am teary just writing this sentence. I feel this is it really.
MODIFIED: I FINALLY SPOKE TO MY MOM ABOUT IT.
I spoke to my mother today and she said my cousins were crying they wanted me to stay with them at their base (this was after she and I, I was 4yrs old when we visited them the first time.) at that time my cousins were 5yrs, 4yrs and 3yrs respectively.
so when they revisited hometown, on their way back to the base the kids were crying uncontrollably and my uncle and the wife couldn't bear it anymore and they had to turn back to come pick me up.
she said it wasn't that she couldn't care for me in a own little or do we say penury way (even tho I still feel as a mother she could have insisted the most but she did it of freewill. if you can't trust anybody with your kid at least not your blood brother)(but she has a history of her kids not spend childhood with her, so I find it as a cheap excuse from her)
years later she said she ask my uncle why he returned me and he said it was the devils work.
we just had this discussion tonight and all this while I tot she just begged them to cater for me. You have done well for yourself. I wish you find Devine happiness now that you have poured out your heart to us. In all you will do, never set your foot to any shrine seeking answers to unravel the mystery, it does not end well! Just worship God and God alone, He is sufficient for us all. Peace |

Career › Re: I Feel Cheated By This Company. Please Advise by SweetyZinta(f): 7:17pm On May 05, 2020 |
Ffolksy: Hi Everyone,
I want to run this through this platform, perhaps I would get some useful input.
I switched companies in March. It was basically due to locations. I was doing fine at my former company. I moved to the latter one because it's close to my house and offered a little salary raise. Turned out it would be my worst career decision.
First week in April after the lockdown was announced, the company came up with a work from home policy which stated that staff were meant to work only Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Consequently, only 70 percent of basic salary (without the allowances) would be paid, and worse, computation would be made for only the number of days (I.e, 12 days a month).
We were assured it's just for the lockdown period, and that things would return to normal afterwards.
Surprisingly, by third week of April, about 90% of staff (including I) was laid off, giving us one week notice.
Yesterday, i got N36,000 from them as my salary for April. My agreed net salary before accepting their offer was N240,000, and that's what I got in March
Considering I'm being laid off, shouldn't they have at least paid the full salary for the month? I feel greatly cheated. Any advice, please?
Thank you. I am sorry about this misfortune that befell you. If you have an appointment letter from them, you should approach a lawyer. Good luck |

Family › Re: Don't Marry Me If You Won't Allow My Relations To Stay Or Visit Me. by SweetyZinta(f): 2:29pm On Feb 07, 2020 |
AmTruth: For me I think women always get it wrong in saying no one should visit them when they are married, especially husband's relative.
As a married man I don't think after the support some of our relations gave to us before marriage should lead us not accepting them to our home because we're married. This sends a wrong signal about a wife and people should take note of this.
My wife has been very comfortable allowing my younger ones staying with us because during our courtship she knows I don't joke with my relations especially my parents and younger ones and I defined it to my relations also that no one jokes with my wife.
So in the house, everyone knows his boundaries And we are all Happy and my wife confesses that too. But that doesn't mean that sometimes misunderstanding doesn't come No!
Women should understand that these our relations have played very important role in the major parts of our lives. So meeting you as a wife in a later path of my life should make me deny their access to my home would not be easily possible.
Summit to your husband's decision on the home staying matter, if you want to have a happy married life. Where are we taking this world to? Why do people enjoy cutting off other people in their lives? Either peaceful or troublesome Inlaws should be welcomed. Everyone should just know their boundaries and maintain their lane. My paternal and maternal uncles and aunts still visit and assist us in any way they can. People should not forget their source/root. Always remember that old age is there to treat you as you have treated yourself when you were younger. If you good, good you shall see, if you cut people off, boredom will kill you. I just noticed that the people who cut off relatives from their home, their children also desert them when they have made it. Be Nice my people. A word is enough for the wise!!! |

AdamsAbubakar: Vital Information That Will Definitely Save Lives
VERY VITAL INFORMATION
We the youths of today are fond of putting password/patterns on our phones which makes it difficult for someone to access it in case of unfortunate situations like phone loss, sickness, accident or even death. But with these few knowledge I'm going to share, perhaps we can save ourselves and the lives of others also.
STEP 1
When your phone is locked, it normally shows enter password, under it you will see emergency. Click on the emergency, then you will see emergency information. Click on the emergency information (2 times). You will see a pencil icon on your extreme right, click on it to edit.
STEP 2
Then enter the contacts you want to save as emergency. You can put as many contacts as possible but I advice you save numbers of active people who know you very well (Family/friend).
Now these contacts you have saved can be called even when your phone is locked without entering your password.
NOTE:
To call a number under emergency, you must repeat the process above.
A soul can be saved through this.
FEEL FREE TO SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY! Nice one Mr Op, we need more knowledgeable post like this. |
