Auxtan: People rarely talk about how much thinkering men go through in finding/choosing a life partner.
I'm at that point in my life and is really not an easy thing or decision.
If you schooled in Nigeria, both secondary and high institution and you have a Facebook or WhatsApp group, it is time to look within. At least they are not entirely strangers to you. You might have been liking one of them. Time to give them a chance. If you had told us the places you tried to find a wife material and failed we can know better how to advice you. Good luck
Tri7nity: With the level of graduate unemployment in Nigeria, were you me asking yourself what you will do after NYSC and boom you were done with service. One year after, how has it gone? Share your experiences. Let's learn together
What sort of English is a graduate writing like this in a public forum?
HanisahZuwy: This is a laptop bag with USB port. I would like to import it, but I don't know if it'll sell here in Nigeria. What do you think? Do you think I should import it or not? What would you rather I import instead? What would you advise me to import instead? I mean a fast moving product/products. I need your opinions/suggestions please. Thanks.
You have made a mistake already by bringing it to a public forum like this to discuss. Now like 10 people would have started selling it too. You would have made your research quietly on places like jumia, konga or even amazon. See if it is best seller and the likely price you can sell. Good luck to you
I also plan adding backpack. So that it won't be only laptop bag. What do you all think?
Freshtruth: Why he didn't answer and greet his Mother he told me those guys was his new friends and they will not allow him.to mingle with them if the find out his mum is a bolle seller and the girls might laugh at him. Why we somebody be ashamed of his parents because they are poor na wa. The funniest thing this guy still come to their house and eat and he is the only son for that matter.
saweide: Pls something is really bothering my mind and I pray I will find good advice here.
I reside in Port-Harcourt about 1 and half years ago Iost my cousin. He died of heart attack. After his death, his wife has been getting closer to me, always calling me and visiting me and am still single. I have had failed relationships in the past. I have been so unlucky with the kind of ladies I met. They are always violent and disrespectful which I dislike so much.
But during my cousins lifetime, she was so good, cool and caring to my cousin and they never had any misunderstanding and they married for just 6 years here in Port Harcourt before he died and they never had a child due to infertility on the side of the cousin. But now everyone like friends and family knows me and scared if I should make advances to her if they won't be saying things against me or should I just forget and look for another lady to marry.
Pls i need ur serious advise. She has fallen in love with me already.
In my own opinion, just do necessary medical tests such as genotype, fertility or St's and proceed. Stay blessed.
StagethemTVee: It’s my 17th wedding anniversary today and I would love to share a few tips. 1. Unmet expectations are the No 1 causes of divorce. Act like the success of the marriage depends on only you. 2. Communication must never stop. Avoid malice and separation under the guise of recovering or getting your heads straight. 3. You are one in the marriage and no party should feel like they are less. 4. Don’t involve family members in your marriage under the guise of seeking advise. Get a mentor with several decades of successful marriage. 5. Spend some time away from the stress together to bond and connect. 6. Be in the circle of people with successful marriages
Girlee: [I'm pained! I just want to know "how people run away from home". I know I've got nowhere to go to and no one to run to but all I can think of right now is how I must leave this house, the negative vibes, the toxicity and hate.
My dad bought so many bags of cement, trips of sand to build his house. How much did I ask for?
I can't do what my mates are doing in the street because I just can't. If not, I just might have been one of those underaged prostitutes or thieves. God has so much helped me because I've thought of so many crazy things to do but Christ in me won't allow it.
I want to be free abeg! How do I run away from home?😩
This your idea to run away from home will hunt you in the long run. Only your family can accept you. Outsiders will exploit you, they can even traffick you out as olosho.
Not passing jamb or gaining admission is not the end of the world. I personally wrote jamb 4 time before I gained admission.
Just keep your mind busy it will take away suicidal thoughts and depression from you. Learn digital skills and make your money online.
You can choose northern universities because their cut-off marks are reasonable. Good luck, be careful who you take advice and help from, May God guide you through.
I am 35 years old and everybody keeps reminding me that age is no longer on my side.
My fiance and I have been dating for more than one year and we are getting married soon.
My fiance is 40 years old and he has never been married.
The relationship was really good when we started but now that our wedding is in a few weeks time, he has shown how controlling he can be.
From the choice of the wedding dress, to the bridesmaids selection, to the colour of the day, he wants to be in charge.
He also wants his mum to buy the cloth for our engagement as well as buy our wedding ring.
He does whatever his family says without seeking my opinion and it almost seems as if I am not the one getting married.
I told my parents about how this makes me feel and they just asked me to endure because I am getting older but I really fear for what is going to happen after the wedding.
Are these not red flags I should run from?
I am confused, please advise me.
In a case where the groom's family is sponsoring the wedding, things like that can be expected. But if you are contributing to the wedding, you can make demands
Letsmeet: Please everyone, what's your opinion on this? Is it wise to date a young lady from a divorced home? If She is very nice, quiet, respectful, the most understanding person in the world, doesn't even quarrel. Has a good job and many other good qualities. But if her parents are divorced, and live in the same area, and she lives with both of them. What is the likelihood of her divorcing in future? Anyone with similar experiences please?
Divorce or not, choose someone who has your best interest at heart. I guess Divorce case is common with the society we live in. If you see cases of developed countries, divorce cases is usually higher than Africa. You see even celebrities remarrying a divorcee.
I served in Abuja from 2018-2019. The experience was OK. I was fortunate to supervise Jamb exams and was INEC adhoc staff for 2019 elections. Also made small money on the side from PPA
sloo1: The fact that the only solution you can think of is to kill the dog shows that you are indeed EVIL 🙈
May God save us!!! What happens to him visiting your place instead and seeing how to win the dog over? Instead na kee dey her mind. Sometimes I wonder how we Nigerian girls reason. In jand sef, husband and wife who are barren can have dogs all their lives without anyone pestering the other for children. Jand people also love flowers as gift and take care of it but here our girls go dey vex. We must change our mentality for a better future.
IyaebeTheGreat: Billionaire without potbelly , very fit and can still handle a 20yr old lady very well but see all this chewing gum boys that call themselves young men of this generation are already carrying potbelly everywhere, some can't even see their dick again. They depend on all sort of useless drugs to satisfy their women, some left to the great beyond as a result of that. Make healthy lifestyle your priority while you make money and stop carrying belly meant for pregnant women everywhere. I've said my own .
Zeal0000007: I and my gal are planning settling down despite genotype not matching , she's AS same with me, but because of medical technological advancements, we visited a specialist who told us that we can still marry if we so desired to be together.
Just that If we can afford the cost of going for foetus testing whenever she's pregnant so as to ascertain the genotype of the child. According to him if the test is conducted and it turns out to be AA or AS, we can keep it, but if it's SS we determate, I have spoken to my gal and we are yet a decide despite this seeming goodnews that we can still be together if we choose to, she really wanted us together same with me. On my part, I have been in terrible and toxic relationship for the past 4years that almost claimed my life but God served from her. And this my current gal came along and she's exactly what I prayed God for, she's really like a gift to me, since she came I have had peace of mind I don't want to loose her because of genotype but thank God for this technically medical advancement , please I want to know if anyone have undergone this treatment before , what's your experience or experiences
I heard that a certain Dr. Gives medicines from the start of the pregnancy till delivery to prevent birthing SS. Though he is in Abuja.
I work in a lounge in sabo and i'm paid 11000 a month.I have served my boss faithfully and dilligently for months during the course of my stay in this shop despite being owed salary.Even when other workers left citing underpayment and workload,i still stayed. It happened that during governorship election season, our lounge was robbed. The robbers made away with 194,000 new naira notes my boss kept in his office. what was more shocking that the robbery was a clean one meaning the robbers had access to the key to his office. It's only me and my boss that have the keys so I was questioned and interrogated.I didn't know anything about it and so I said.I was beaten and bruised. Nobody believe me say i dey innocent
Police came and i was detained.i was in cell for 13 days(i hear am for cell God)before being released last week.I was rold the culprit has been found. It was my boss mistress and brother that planned it.How they knew about the money is what i don't know. ytdivine: I was invited to NYSC orientation camp to give talks on self employment. I saw right inside the camp wasting assets and human resources. I saw hectares of land owned by NYSC lying idle. I saw untapped human potentials in the youth that could turn the land asset into job creations and money. I asked myself why the whole verse land was lying idle? All we need in Nigeria is just change of mentality and right vision mindset because as a country, we have all it takes to succeed
Yes, you have spoken well. I like the fact that everything you have written is short and straightforward. I will surely try this out.
But she should be more worried if that happened. She would probably lose any chance of any man giving her loyalty and commitment till she dies alone. Different men would only enjoy giving her the D for the next max 15 years until she becomes totally invisible to most men of any value.
snthesis: Got a shocker recently, my wife suddenly says i am not romantic after 10years of marriage and having 3 children... should i be worried we got married young and she now in her early 30s
p.s she now wants to get a tattoo, piercing. waistbeads and wear leg chain
You should be worried. Improve on your game or loose her to a romantic GenZ guy. E.g start taking her on dates, movies at the cinemas, lovely and Feminine gifts. Good luck
obembet: Many women have become a single mother today due to mistakes they were force to make by Thier partner.
It's very easy for a man to move one and remarry whenever he desires while many single mothers out there looking for who they will spend the rest of Thier lives with.
So, Should a man be force to marry a lady he impregnated by mistake?
Yessss!!! That way, getting people pregnant will become thing of the past. I don't want to ask you to imagine if your only sister or daughter is impregnated by mistake what you should do.
CCTV footage shows moment 21year old victim walks into a Surrey police station to report Ekweremadu.
Senator Ike Ekweremadu, his wife, Beatrice, and their doctor, Obinna Obeta will be sentenced on May 5 after they were convicted of organ trafficking, in the first verdict of its kind under the Modern Slavery Act in the United Kingdom.
The former deputy senate president, his wife, Beatrice, 56, and Dr. Obinna Obeta, 51, were found guilty of facilitating the travel of a young man to Britain with a view to his exploitation after a six-week trial at the Old Bailey.
They conspired to bring the 21-year-old Lagos street trader to London to exploit him for his kidney, the jury found.
Good riddance to b@d rubbish!! Such a beautiful way to end a useless career. May God arrest and expose more failed politicians in Nigeria.
