My sister went to Access bank today to get her bank statement for UK visa but the bank officer only gave her paper with code and password.

They said embassy will use the code to open her account to verify her statement.

Please is this true because I am hearing this for the first time

Its inactive, I believe that check for inactive is done randomly

Howdy switch900,i would not go as far as saying he is not telling the truth as I have personally seen people rejected for showing inactive status while others were approved.

It is all circumstantial and boils down to the strength of your documentation.The table your application lands on matters as well.

Some caseworkers are very detailed and check every document,while others just tick the checklist and do not investigate further.

It doesn’t hurt to inform your employer that their status shows up as inactive,they might not even know.If it is a hostile work place don’t mention Tax just say it shows up as inactive.

It is a tad unfair to refuse someone a visa for inactive status when they do not own the company but what do i know?.

I hope this makes it clearer.

Hi everyone, please am new here and would love to take the IELTS test by October 30th, yet to book but I should book tomorrow by God’s Grace. Which do you recommend I sit for IDP or BC? Considering I would be taking the test in Ibadan. Which has more leniency when it comes to marking and has faster test results. Hello, has anyone recently gotten a decision on his/her application within the stated 15 working days / 3 weeks. Is it just me or everyone coz It seems like the standard visit application is taking approximately 2 months now to process.

Finally got the mail to collection of passport today.
Went to TLS to pickup my passport

Biometrics was done on 3rd September 2021
TLS Mail for Passport pick 5th October 2021
Proposed date to travel has passed
Visa was issued

Congratulations.

10 years Visit Visa Issued.

Is passport in her maiden name or marital name?.Dedicate a day to the bank queue anything worth doing is worth doing well.I can’t remember your exact story but will read through the thread.Saving a bit more money makes sense so you taking the right steps.Goodluck.

Right,I see.Let’s do a bit of calculation shall we?.Let’s say minimum flight ticket i have seen at the moment is nearly 400k thats your two months disposable income spoken for already.Maybe let another month or two pass?.
Then again,if you decide to do some “light” shopping or go for some paid tour say to your clubs stadium or get on the pods who foots that bill?.
Maybe this is not the time to travel but again it is worth a try as even if they want to refuse you it’s only a refusal stamp not physical beating.

The documents he submitted were his CAC cert, his personal account (where he saves) as he does not really withdraw from there. Others docs were deed of agreement of our home, marriage cert., birth cert of our baby.
