Why does'nt this president ever address issues by himself, why does it always have to be ruben abati or doyin okupe? Wow!! It's becoming disturbing and the lazy nigerian press is'nt challenging this regal bubble that the president has used to sheild himself. |
I guess i'll get hammered for this, but what the hell...happy mothers day to catholic mom's and indeed women, but sadly this is as good as it gets for catholic women, you still play second fiddle to men in your church. What is it about men that makes the church is old boys club? And what is it about women that makes them to be relegated to the obscure sides of the church? I belive these are important questions that need to be answered and worked for! Because in 2013, gender equality should'nt be so elusive in any organisation!!! Thanks. Ok, let the bashing begin!! |
SimonAndal: NIGERIA: ST.U.PID PEOPLE, DUMB NATION, BANANA REPUBLIC!there is something the critics don't understand about nigeria and that is the country is booming with greatness. Their are a few suppressing this greatness with their greed and inhumanity but as they say destiny can be delayed but not denied!! This country is destined to be great!! Despite all the problems, the average nigerian does not sit and wait for the government for everything. We still survive "MAN MUST WACK"!! No matter the chanllenges, somehow we still make. Despite allthe corruption, some of the most brightest and geniunly richest africans are nigerians, despite all the bombings our economy is number 2 in africa, despite our frail educational system we have produced nobel laurets, mathematicians and world famous educationsit. And people sit back in the world and say how does this shambolic country still survive? I teel you, greatness is in this country but our leaders and we the people have created the sheild aginst it. The sooner we bring down this human sheild the greater we will become. GOD BLESS MY COUNTRY NIGERIA!! |
crimo4us: You are a damn fool, because all these take place in the city you think that is how it is in every part of Rivers state. I know of a school where they have only five staff, all the rest are corpers. Come to Gokhana, you will know that more that half of the female population don't go to school, how many have they jailed. Don't come here to spit nonsense. Ignoramus.give me the name of that school in gokana!! If you're sure give me the name. Are you an idiot? Gokana? Which is not even a hidden community like like abalama, obakiri or even bile!! Gokana!! A place where the governour does town hall meeting always. Give me the name and i'll find out. I have special connection with the education ministry and RSSDA!!! |
laz_inc: Look at this fat cow o,its no longer news that rivers has d highest rate of exams malpractices, why do you think that most students from the east that couldn't passed waec in their various states found rivers as their safe haven to passed this same exams they couldn't passed back in their own states, its simply because of the rate of malpractices that goes on in rivers state.ha!! You just showed yor ignorance in a most sorphisticated way!! Ust that has been has been crisis for years now due to the uncompromising stance taken by prof. Barineme fakaye and chibuike ameachi to mal practise and extortion by lecturers. As of today the rivers state university of science and technology is amongs the best state university in nigeria( check the list online), currently the university is even hiring new lecturers because they've sacked every lecturer who is on strike opposing the reforms of the v.c! Keep branising your ignorance!! |
dabrake: is it just me or . . . WTF! Not even Ibadan, Kano, Kaduna, . . . WTF again?look at this child, you want to compare the population and commercial power of port harcourt with ibadan, kano and kaduna? How many corporation has their headquaters in this city but i'll list "some" in p.h. Nigerian LNG,shell, mobile, siapem,TSKJ,CBI, ibeto, indomie,NDDC,lubric, marcopolo.and many more!! |
crimo4us: If you are talking of education, don't even mention Rivers state, the state is 100 years behind many state in Nigeria. Rivers state has the highest grade of examination malpratices in Nigeria. If you must know, that is where student can write and pass WAEC in absential, lots more. When you want to mention education, please leave Rivers out of it.look at this kid! Which state in this country that is'nt having problems with exam malpractise? But which state has fought exam malpractise more than rivers state? The state government personally sends para-military forces to supervise exams and anyone caught is jailed. The governour and commisioner of education visit exam centers, where is that done? The government has fought so had and wace keeps telling them not to interfere with their organisation. So what do you expect them to do? You dare open your mouth to attack educationally the only state in the federation that jails parents who don't send their kids to school, and has the most sorphisticated schools where fees, uniform, sandals, books and even lunch is free. Better think twice before talking!! |
laz_inc: Road networks in portharcourt? I think you just displayed your stupidity at the highest level here. By good road I mean quality roads not all those I see in portharcourt being carried out by rubbish contractors like the mile 3 flyover (I laugh in swaili) you just foolishly mentioned. Other rubbish contractors like hommer n the rest keep doing shaddy roads all over the city that couldn't stand the taste of time. Portharcourt only has aba road that is always full of traffic and you said there are road networks. Stop deceiving yourself and take a visit to Akwa Ibom state you will know that portharcourt is no where cclose to it in terms of road infrastructures. Where I work in Akwa Ibom, Ikot Abasi there is 24/7 steady electricity because there's a state power plant there. The only place you can get that in rivers is in bonny island that's provided by nlng.fool! Port harcourt only has aba road? Maybe that's where the bus you enter always pass, because if you had a car, you'll see the new airport road, peter odili road, stadium road, eneka/igurwuta road, how many flyover does uyo have? Go check out all port harcourts fly over! Port harcourt is a large triving city with a population second to lagos, so traffic is bound to happen dispite the good road networks. Not uyo were you build roads and only bike, chickens and goats ply it. And you did'nt mention the educational and healthcare sectors, guess you knew there was no arguement there and you choose to shut up! |
Dejohnbull: i said it Amechi is busy doing noting wit quack contractors. E'g ( JDP, LCC, MCC, COSSEL, FEROTEX, RCC). AKPABIO, ( JULIUS BEGER, ARAB CONTRACTOR, MOTHER CAT, NIGER CAT, RCC, CCECC, CGC, ASPHALT UNITY). So who is fooling who, Amechi shld go 4 rivival in uyo.please reason!! Gov. Ameachi said rivers peoples money in rivers peoples pocket! Why will he give out the state's money to foreigners when we have local companies? Because of his investments in local hands rivers state has some of the richest men in the south like chief o.b lulu briggs, odoliyi lolomari, etc! And there're using their money to give back to the state and create jobs. And finally the most sorphisticated and complicated contracts are still given to fotreign firm but that'll change soon. |
laz_inc: Compare with Port Harcourt? Port Harcourt is one of the worst cities in terms of development, no good roads, no electricity and no solid infrastructures.no good roads? You must be high, which south-south or south eastern city can compare with port harcourt for road networks? Stadium road, aba road, new airport road, peter odili road, mile 3 roads and mega fly over and many more! For your information rivers state is the only state in nigeria that has enough power to feed the whole state, it's has just been given the power by the feds to distribute and it is on a fast track! No solid infastructure? Apparently you're ignorant to the fact that the three tallest buildings in the entire south south and south east is located in port harcourt. You don't know about the monorail project whoes first phase in nearing completion. All the schools and health care centers jam packed in the state that you see one of them anywhere you turn! Please don't say ignorant things. |
eddy1234: there is 247 power supply in my town.bonny island in rivers state.make ur findinstell him my brother!! Bonny island in rivers state is the only place in nigeria where light is constant and relatively cheap. If they ever want to take light for maintenance work, you're informed and it does'nt take long. |
Eko Ile: Lagos state built the first and largest IPP in Nigeria when apabio so cut that noise about IPP.rivers state will give you that and more!! Fashola's lap Dog!! |

what kind of brain do you have, fine road and colour fountain is washing your brain? How many states in this country has schools the kind of schools ameachi has built in every part of rivers state? Where fees, uniform, book, bag, sandals, and even lunch is free and parents who don't send their kids to school are persecuted. How many state has the standard of free healthcare centers that ameachi has built in every part of rivers state? Is it road? Have you seen stadium road?rumuola road? New airport road? Is ut RSSDA that is sending loads of rivers kids abroad to study and giving out micro finance loans? What has akpabio done? You see cinema, resturant and colour fountain and you go nuts!! |
mmmustapha: Dis city is a village compare with port hercourt or kadunaexactly!!! My dear, you know the koko! |
Dejohnbull: I wan't know if Rivers & Abia states are rule by ACN? Reason is the 2 states rule by PDP is worst than wat Amosun is working in infarstructure in southwest.hey, there is more to development that fine roads, there is no state in this country that can compare to rivers state educational and health sector!! And which roads am i seeing here that is'nt in port harcourt? Or is it coloured water fountain? Stale!! |
Ibro Yaya: ^^^ Big Fat lie!!my dear, don't mislead people to defend the indefensible. Sherpard one is not even the name of a particular plane. Sherpard one is the call sign for any plane the pope is flying in. That is what air traffic controllers call anyplane the pope is one. And when he pope travels, the vatican hires an air italia plane for him and his staff. It's a commercial plane with the pope having his own seat. So my dear, there is no plane like "sherpard one" it's a call sign. So even if the pope is in a carton that is flying, it will be reffered to as "sherpard one". |
Pastor, mother theresa became one of the most famous preachers of christ and agent of charity with an entire life's possesion of two pairs of her nunnery uniform and sweater, a chaplet,a prayer book, sandals and toothbrush!! |
When p-square and mi went to los angeles for BET awards, they sat down with wendy williams for an interview, p-square told her that they had fleets of luxury cars but are scared to drive them as nigeria is notorious for theft. When she asked mi, when she interviewed mi,he repealed all what p-square said about car theft in nigeria and defended his country. Look at how nigerian thiefs have fall his hand. |
Eko Ile: That's it? You still round extremely shallow.if i'm so shallow, then explain the dept of my shallowness and stop being vague! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
naptu2: Personally I prefer to assess the performance of agencies rather than personalities, but I can understand those who choose to call out the president.did you actually get my point? Yes, the buck stops with the president but he does'nt get to everywhere at once, you do notexpect the president who is running the nation to know the state of abuja stadium, that is the job of the sports ministry, and if the sports ministry is'nt doing their job, a members of the national assembly whoes duties are to be more in touch with basic problems will bring this to the floor, where it will be reffered to the commitees on sports and these commitees will summon the sports minister for hearings and send a letter to the president. And then it is left to him to discipline his ministry of sports for such negligence. This is basic government principles of oversight taught in high schools!! |
Eko Ile: You sound very shallow. Reading your posts makes me feel like I'm insulting my own intelligence.apparently you're not "intelligent" enough to challenge the "shallowness" of my comment. Rather you put together this shambolic display of idiocy!! |
I know this will sound kinda childish but i'm just a teen. Why is the lady tired or it? I taught sex is suppose to be fun from how it's spoken of. |
Funny enough a former lady in waiting to her majesty, queen elizabeth ii says her majesty's private toilets at buckingham palace, windsor castle and other of her residences are made of pure solid gold. |
IYA NGBALI: shut the fok up,good or bad,the bulk stops at his table, that is why he is the president and commander in thief of the armed forces,if he cannot get the job done,he should throw in the towel and stop defending shiiti refer you to my response above. |
Eko Ile: It means the president hired incompetent people from the minister down to the sports commission and not firing them remains a reflection of his own incompetence and tolerance for incompetence, corruption and mismanagement.let me lecture you and other nigerians how government work. The president is one man, and the federal government is a gaint machine. Do you expect him with all the problems on his plate to have an eagles view on everything? No! That's why we have legislators, who do that oversight work for him together the national assembly has more than 400 members are hundreds of commitees on different issues. Why have'nt they been called out for failing to do their job by seeing problems, calling public hearings and bringing to issues to the national discussion and to the presidents attention? Where was the house and senate commitees on police affairs all these years when the police college was falling apart? Where is the house and senate commitee on sports when the abuja stadium is crumbling. Nigerians have encouraged the laziness of a group of people that consume 25% of our budget, because they know they can never be blamed for anything. Their is always the gainst piniada called jonathan who everyone will take a swipe at when things go wrong. |
Why would they help the woman? What will they gain from that? But do you how much does impounded vehicles when bailed by their owners will fetch them? And how much they'll get from the "investigation" into the accident, though it happened before their eyes. That's all that matters folks. "money". P/s: not all nigerian police are bad. |
Rhino.5dm:i honestly don't know what nigerians won't blame this president for, please tomorrow if you can't tie your shoe, please blame jonathan. You expect the president who is dealing with boko haram, mend, economy, foreign affairsetc to also be aware of the state of abuja stadium? What does the NFF do? Or the sports ministry? Why can't the national assembly sports commitee call hearing on why the stadium is like that. Nigerians are just so ignorant to seperation of power and duty. All they know is if anything is bad, it's jonathan fault. |
Never listen to the french. They're mostly perverts. Once a french "resercher" was advising women not to save the pubic hair rather suggesting methods to design and style it. How offensive!!:@:@ |
I don't think he'll come, that guy is really simple and dislike interjecting himself in issues. During the 2011 presidential campaign when jonathan was doing a facebook hangout with youths, he was invited but he did'nt come and rather, sent a representative. |
bolaino: sometimes I sit and wonder what goes through his (jonathan) head, is it that he lacks good advisers or is it that he surrounds himself with fools, or is it that he is just plain dumb,ok, you have made a very nice point on how stupid and idiotic jonathan is, ok. What will you do differently, that he's not doing now? |
