Satellite TV Technology / Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by tabontabon: 6:24pm On Dec 18, 2022
Good evening house. Please all stations on the forever tv app on my mediastar 2727 decoder aren't showing. It keeps giving "failed' pop-up. And the server status is "disconnected " under the server menu, even though it's connected to my hotspot.

Kindly advise on how to resolve this. Looking forward to helpful insights.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Business Idea For A Budget Of 500k by tabontabon: 6:34am On Dec 15, 2021
My questions are:

1: In the absence of large capital to buy directly from the two major breweries, how can one negotiate good prices with their dealers(major distributors) such that one can also sell at reasonable wholesale prices to retailers (buyers of few crates like 1,3,5 crates etc).

2: (assuming one is able to raise capital to buy directly from just one brewery), Is it advisable to start off with the products of a single brewery as a distributor.
adonainana:

Could you rephrase your question

Also there aren’t different breweries to be specific . There are mainly two of them Nigerian breweries and International breewirirs

NB produces Goldberg, star radler etc whilst international breweries produces trophy, Budweiser, hero, trophy stout, beta malt grand ......
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Business Idea For A Budget Of 500k by tabontabon: 5:37am On Dec 15, 2021
Good morning, thanks for sharing this. Please, how can one go about selling beers of different breweries at wholesale to retailers. For example, selling brands of NB, International Breweries etc. And how does one get good prices from the various distributor as a first time buyer.

adonainana:

We can work together if you are ready

Loading crates of drinks from brewery itself is expensive similar to loading cement from Dagonte cement refinery

When next you are traveling on Lagos Ibadan expressway you will for sure see a trailer with crates of beer . Some trailers can have up to 2,000 crates

Also when you go into buying directly from the manufacturer itself, you would need to buy empty bottles first because I don’t think you as a first timer have empty bottles worth 1,009 crates

An empty crate costs 1,000 per crate

It’s not a hard business it’s just capital intensive in the sense that you will need 3 million or so to lift directly from Nigerian breweries

Once you have bought from Nigerian breweries and found somewhere to store your crates omo money don land ooo cos inline cement or any other perishable goods

Beer in crates does not spoil or have an expiry date , even the crates are perforated in a way that rain won’t spoil the crates

Once anyone hears you have up to 2,000 crates of beer somewhere you don become wholesaler for that region be that ooo

Cos from small hotels to beer parlours to other small retailers it you that they would easily come to and you add your own profit margin on top and sell on crates to them

The profit margin is so high that if everyone drinking Goldberg, went to Nigerian breweries to buy one bottle each they would pay between 100 naira and 125 naira per bottle

Happy birthday Son. The Lord shall keep and guide you.

nnennachiji:
Today my son turned 3
I remember reading about fertilaid clinic here on nairaland after my failed cycle with women’s care Port harcourt . I decided to cycle with them it wasn’t easy shuttling from PH to Abuja. My husband came back from the states and we froze two vials of his semen in November. I started stimulation in January I wasn’t producing enough follicles, only four follicles I was heartbroken how could this be , all the money spent for only 4 follicles. I was on high doses of HMG 6 bottles and it was still 4 follicles. I nearly canceled the cycle but Dr shaibu encouraged me and said it only takes one.
I did my retrieval , 4 follicles retrieved but only 2 fertilized . I was heartbroken again
It was as if it wasn’t meant to be but I prayed and gave it my best
Then my endometrial lining was an issue. I had to use my progynova vaginally and it really helped my lining
I also added prednisone, low dose aspirin, took pineapple core, pomegranate juice, walnut
I know I needed to try it all.
On transfer day I asked what my lining was and was ready to stop the transfer if it wasn’t up to 9mm
He measured and said 10. 9mm
Both were transferred a 5 A blast and a morula
After the transfer I stayed on the transfer couch for 30 mins
I was laughing, watching comedy shows , ate French fries. I was transferred to the other room and I stayed there for 2 hrs before heading to my accommodation
I made myself happy and prayed for God’s mercy during my two week wait
I didn’t test I was so scared .
I then went for the hcg quantitative test and it was 1400
I knelt down and worshipped God
Finally I was pregnant .
I just want to thank God for what he did for me and hoping he will do more when I cycle next year
Happy birthday to a son I prayed for.

The general complain was that during the promo period, they don't individualize treatment based on each patients uniqueness. Rather, they just follow a set of laid down procedures.
About two members made that observation on this thread.

Please tell us some of the observations.

I wanted to use ayomide last year but asked my sister to make enquiry about them for me cos she stays in Oshogbo. She told my they don't really have success like that. I eventually used Grabbo in Abuja this year after reading about their success rate here

Good morning all mummies and daddies.
Please, with a budget of 1.2million naira, which reputable IVF clinic can one consider within Lagos? I need recommendations please because budget is tight.

N.B. I'm not too keen on using the St Ives promo. This is due to observations from previous participants.

Fertility clinics at Abuja seems to be achieving results even at first attempt more than Lagos. And their price is lower than what is obtainable in Lagos.

@Towerofgrace thanks for the response. May God answer our prayers.

Towerofgrace:

I have only used them for IUI and it was there ikoyi branch I used fully for the 1st cycle which was a success but ended as a miscarriage

2nd iui cycle was just very wish-wash kind of process started in ikoyi branch and completed in ikeja branch

Overall Mamas here have had success stories and not so good experience with them, mixture of both but I will recommend their Ikoyi branch over any other branch

Hello @ tabontabon,
There are 2 clinics I can recommend based on experience, service, pricing and personalized care. They don't have crowd also
They are both clinics anyway and don't operate 24hrs but they are good and not too money focused grin

My advice is just ask for God's guidance in choosing a clinic

Origene Health Services, Ikoyi
Green-onyx fertility, Opebi

Do you research well also, their price is between 1.5m - 1.8m
