Good evening guys! I got my passport back already. I really learnt a whole lot on here and I was able to do it all and get approved upon the first attempt.

Great thing was that I equally did it all for my best friend and they approved his own too.

Nairaland dn turn me to pro travel agent...... LOL

By the way, if you are in Ottawa or coming to Ottawa this fall, please link up.

I wish everyone the very best in this journey.

It is so annoying, just made my day unproductive because I was expecting the other mail. Hopefully it will be PPR.
Trailblazer21:

Mehnn this is my situation also. BVL came July 29th after medical request letter (done and updated passed 25th July ). For most applications BVL comes same time as PPR I don’t know why IRCC wants to torture us.

It’ll end in praise

Good evening guys, I got BVL this morning but no further updates. I am worried as most times PPR comes with the BVL.

What can I do?

You didn't provide bank statements?
Latyphat7:
Hello Guru in the house,

I just received my GCMS notes and stated that I was refused due to bank statements not provided.

Kindly advise on the next steps to take.

@Makano @Frank @GCMS Notes writer- please assist

Please, I submitted my application 7th of May and for Proof of funds, I submitted my Tuition deposit for the first semester, GIC for my one-year living expenses (CAD12k according to my school) and my company's account statement.

I didn't include my personal bank statement since the balance is not as huge as that of the company and I once read a GCMS note for someone who submitted 2 bank statements and the Visa officer denied him based on the balance of the account with the insufficient funds.

I am considering sending my personal bank statement to them via webform since I have great banking history.

What do you think?

How much was in the account you sowed them and how much is your tuition+living expenses?
femmybet:

Evidence was a letter from my boss that he was paying me one year salary upfront to support my studies since i will be returning to my work after school

That’s really unfair if you didn’t have lump sum deposit though. Pay more fees and if possible do GIC for your living expenses.

Yes I provided my employment letter, work ID card, promotion letters, payslips etc
My program is 18th months and cost 35,000 CAD
5000 CAD deposit

FaithCanny:

New portal but my medical has been updated to passed.
Uzoamaka123:
Is it new portal you used to apply or old?

Please can someone else confirm if they are also experiencing this?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Tadewuyi206: 10:09pm On Jun 02, 2022
Also experiencing this, I did mine since 13th of May and it has not changed to completed. I called VFS and they said it happens that if it doesn't get updated in a month, I can reach IRCC.
Uzoamaka123:
Pls can someone respond to this ?

Sorry to hear that, what did you submit initially as proof of funds? As regards FORM A, it is very straightforward, sign up on the CBN trade portal and apply.

Good evening guys, I am currently working on my application and I want to submit as soon as possible.

I have a few questions and I will love if I can get answers.

1). Which portal is recommended for applying and is the fastest at the moment? GCkey or the new portal?

2). Do I have to upload my school transcript because what I have is the student's copy and also, I only have my statement of result and not the certificate at hand.

Thank you.
