PassingShot: I was wrong! Buhari didn't win Adamawa in 2011. He got 38% while GEJ got 56% and not "almost 70%".
However, you and I know that a lot has changed since especially with Atiku now supporting GMB. I have no doubt that Buhari will clear Adamawa, Nassarawa (he got 40% there in 2011) and Kwara convincingly this time around. Lol @Atiku supporting GMB now. Atiku-controlled could not even make his candidate the Gov candidate for Adamawa, and he is not presently the APC candidate. Moreover, his present support of Buhari is been lethargic at best. Anyways, it wouldn't have mattered sef since Adamawa is so thoroughly PDP. Do you realize that when Nyako detected to APC almost nobody went with him?? I think GEJ will win Nasarawa again, but I agree that he may lose Kwara. |

PassingShot: Buhari won Adamawa in 2011. What will make him lose there in 2015?
GEJ might just nick Ekiti and Ondo but definitely not Oyo. I am from Oyo state, so I know what I'm talking.
GEJ won't get 40% in Ogun snd Lagos. Bookmark this thread. No GEJ won almost 70% in Adamawa last time, and he will win again there this time. You can take that to the bank. Adamawa is so thoroughly pdp, and this cuts through ethnic and religious sentiments or loyalties. Same reason Ribadu would crush Bidado in the Gov race. GEJ would win Lagos, by a margin though. And would win in Oyo (practically all the strong men in Oyo, including those formally in ACN except the Gov - from Akala to Ladoja etc support GEJ, and Oyo has always been different in the SW for supporting candidates that their strong men support ) Bookmark this guy Hailings |

PassingShot: This writer doesn't know his job well.
I don't expect Buhari winning Rivers and Imo. However he will surely win the following states which he failed to include:
1. Kwara
2. Adamawa
3. Nassarawa
Ondo, Ekiti and Kogi are also possible for GMB. GEJ is winning Adamawa easily, and very likely Nasarawa too. He will likely lose in Kwara sha, and would not do as much as he did last time in Kogi. He will win in Ekiti, Ondo and Oyo States. Lose in Osun while both candidates would be close in Lagos and Ogun |

pendy79: Can't believe the stupidity of sone commentaries I read on this thread.
THE QUESTION TO ASK IS WHY WE WAITED 5YEARS BEFORE WE ACTED?
Chadian Army cannot boast of a tenth of our armoury and a tenth of our military size and strength
What made the Nigerian Army which have recorded great victories against BH in the last 3 weeks seem so useless and cowardly in the fight against BH in the last 5years?
Why did GEJ need an election to act right? More lives and properties would have been saved of we did what we are doing now over 4years ago and some idiots are talking as if those losses doesn't matter.
Never knew dikwa and ngalamboru are cities in Chad not Nigeria for an idio.t to say Chad Army only liberated just 2 cities.
Our Army and our richness is enough to protect us if we had a sincere and focus commander in chief. How does this stop you from been a FOOOL?? Why do I even waste time on some of you sef?? pendy79: One need to go to the link and read comments by foreigners to see how Nigeria is being ridiculed at the poor handling of the BH menace by GEJ in the almost 6years he has ruled this country.
How can Chadian Army be said to be better equipped than the Nigerian Army yet jonaTAN has spent 5trillion Naira on military defence in 4years and even took a loan of $1billion for the procurement of arms and ammunition. You are a FOOOL, guy. If not you would have known that this article by Yahoo news is only the latest of the well played and rehearsed negative narrative against Nigeria by these foreign journalists. You would have known that the Chadian Army have only liberated just 2 towns- GamboruNgala and Dikwa- with the permission of the Nigerian authorities, with both towns near the border with Chad (GambaruNgala is in fact just at the border between Nigeria and Chad and was even captured by the Chadian ground troops after the Nigerian Airforce pounded that area repeatedly). You may also have known that most of the really heavy fighting and successes recorded so far (liberation of about 10 LOCAL GOVTS including the big towns like Baga, Monguno, Marte, Madagali, Mubi Mafa, Gulak) and the virtual surrounding of Gworza and Bama had/has been undertaken by Nigerian forces. You should have known that the main function of the other MNJF armies is to man their borders, prevent BH fighters from gaining an escape route during fights or having safe havens in their territories. More importantly, perhaps you would have known that this is history repeating itself again. Same way Nigerian Forces- Land, Air and Navy- fought most of the real battles in the Sierra Leone civil war in the 90s, and yet today the narrative and the history books credits the British for winning that war only cos the British Press went to overdrive with the role a small British battalion played at the very tail of that war even after the war itself had already almost been won by the Nigerian and other West Africa peace keepers. If you had any sense and any iota of self respect you would very very vehemently resist this assault on the sensitivity and honour of your OWN NATION. But here you are trying to play cheap politics with it. SHAME ON YOU |

http://www.punchng.com/news/inec-card-readers-pass-mock-exam/ Did you read the report itself instead of sheepishly believing the title of the report?? Only Lagos and Ekiti was a success according to this report. All other states that was reported had lots of issues that marred the process. The title of the article only betrayed Punch's partisanship; and it's such a shame for a formerly reliable medium as Punch. |

Ernieman: Go and Fire Him na! You are type who would be eager to compromise your integrity for fear of losing your job or the confidence of your boss...I don't need to be told that you r d 'high service type'. The guy said he complained about pending uncertainty during his training but they never paid attention to him and you are saying he is wrong by letting YOU and I know the attitude of the management of INEC as regards this election? C'mon mehn, show some appreciation and be reasonable.
I remember whilst I was serving in a remote community in KATSINA in 2011, we were the set of corp members that INEC employed as ADHOC staffs to handle registration of eligible voters and during the training, we were cautioned NOT to register anyone below 18yrs and some guys amongst us asked the officials that how would one be sure or be able to say for certain that someone is below 18yrs owing to the fact that most women in the north become mothers before they clock 18yrs....Their response was if we were sure they appeared less than 18 we should deny them being registered.
At my unit, I had no security, just my assistant who understands and speaks hausa and to make matter worse, none of the people in this community is a literate. And there came this tall, fierce looking man who called a CPC Agent, that he was there to witness and observe the registration process...to cut the story short, this same guy mobilised under aged children for me to register. I told him in a calm tone that am obliged only to register people above 18. The man got furious left us and I think headed home, only to come back after a few minutes with a cutlass and started filing his matchette on a piece of stone close to where we were. I was damn scared for my ma life, cos I know had it been anything happened to me, I'd be gone and nobody, I mean NOBODY, not even the president will give a F*CK that I died trying to do the RIGHT thing! And so I told ma assistant to tell him in hausa to go bring back those kids, that I was now ready to get them registered....This was just registration ooooo! Talk more of voting.
If you want to show how patroitic you can be, go to Kano or Bauchi or Borno and represent INEC there with these unrealiable card readers and let's see if you would make it back with your life.
U dey carry Naija matta 4 ur head, when dem leaders no send ur ass. |

This topic tries its best to potray the card reader in negative light which isn't true.
Card readers are the future of elections, the earlier we start using it, the better. You guys should at least learn to tell the truth at times. In fact, it was only in Lagos and Ekiti that was was a success. Most other states- Ebony, Niger , Delta, Rivers, Bauchi- had issues ranging from moderate to severe. See this Punch link below: |
