Maxymilliano: A conjectural laced article devoid of objectivity from The Nation Newspaper is no more a surprise to any discerning readers. Since it became clear that second term ambition is gettign brighter by the day, this rogue media house, owned by a rogue has been at the forefront of reeling out conjectures and speculation all in a bid to discredit the president.Hahahahaha.... Yes oh, I rememba when this particular story got here some few months ie about the bloody free-for-alk that ensued in Ogun State House of Assembly when a Minority of d ACN legislators there attempted to remove the Speaker of d House over alleged corruption charges, and how d RESIDENT HYPOCRITES here (led by their Oga @Gbawe of course) 'assured' us that what happened was in fact evidence that 'our democracy was growing and deepening' as politicians disagree!! And that it was normal for 'our fledging democracy' . Fast Forward 3 months later, and EXACTLY SAME thing happens in d Rivers State House of Assembly, and completely one-asided articles are coming out from d PROPAGANDA MACHINERY of d same people who told us 3 months ago that such in-fighting was 'normal in a fledging democracy', that this time around it is going to 'led to the end of democracy' and of course, conveniently pointing d fingers at their No 1 'Enemy' GEJ...... Talk about MEGA HYPOCRITES (apologies to @Jmain). But then again, how does not know about d antics of d ACN e-Rats by now. |
jmaine: If fair and square . . .Nothing go happen . . .Simplicita. Life wud go on. As long as d nx Govt continue some of d KEY things (eg Power, Agric Revolutn, Rails, Better Elections, etc) he started..... BUT, then again, GEJ wud almost certainly not lose 2015 elections if he decides to run na.. |
jmaine: You folks are too funny . .Upper cut on Jona indeed . .Clowns, they are... |
austinkenneth: This is an opportunity for Jonathan to nail the opposition. He missed it.Really?? |
Symphony007: go and reserch. I direct you to the u,n or bill and melina gates foundation. Nigeria, pakistan and afganistan are the only countries still revaged by polio. Even if other countries experience it, it has been reduced to it's bearest minimum. You go and research a certain country call Somalia, and d No of polio cases they hv reported this year.. Google is just a click away, Guy |
take dat: Who cares what an hardly literate, grossly insensitive and a corrupt beyond belief woman, whom I am sure is unable to grasp the consequences of her meddling has to say. Like the Prof said, be a lady before being a first lady. This is so beneath you....Or, is it really? *Smh* |
Symphony007: my dear. In the WORLD. More than china, india, bangladesh, pakistan, mongolia,nepal...mention them. Shame on nigeria. Education...for crying out loud. The most basic of basics, let's not talk about polio. Nigeria is the only country on the african continent still fighting polio. According to the u.n and the bill and melina gates foundation. Nigeria, pakistan and afganistan are the only country globally still struggling to fight polio.Plz, be sure of what you what to say b4 actuali saying them in public....@topic, d statistics on out-of-school children for Nigeria is as shocking as they come. Govts at all levels, esp in d North, as well as d diff strata of society (again, esp in d north) shld do more to reverse this unacceptable and potentially dangerous trend |

Prof Wole Soyinka is wished the very best this day. And it was an auspicious day in deed, some 79 years ago, that brought this Great Mind to us- in Nigeria, Africa and d entire work; a gift who has enriched us with his limitless wits and fired us with d passion of his convictions.... Happy bday, Prof |
Garri the 1st: Why are the mumus borrowing money to remodel already remodeled airports??Why am I not surprised? A person whose brain is stuffed with fermented Ijebu garrri wud naturally be an IGNORAMUS |
Alxmyr: This Amaechi guy is really a joke.Endorsed.... |
jmaine: For the sake of peace , the CP should be transferred . . .Broda, I very Strongly disagree with you here; though, I can't expantiate cos of my self-imposed stance not to join in rather bizzare craze to comment on d 'Ameachi mata'. |
bloggernaija: Since the EFFC reports directly to the president, it is his duty to ensure these cases are prosecuted to their logical conclusion .You are an Absolute TOOOL, and you ought to be ASHAMED of yourself. For God's sake, there should be a Limit our conscience, regardless of how broken itself, shld allow us do PROPAGANDA and tell bare-faced LIES with a straight face!! What d helll do you expect d President to do? Take over d case from d Judge like Ameachi did recently with his State House of Assembly? You talk of taking the case to 'its logical conclusion' and one wonders what further 'conclusion' you were talking about. The Suspect in question was arrested for UNDERDECLARATION of the money with him in d Airport and prosecuted under an Act whose MAXIMUM penalty is the Conviction of the Suspect and making him/her forfeit part of d Undeclared fund (except a separate case of Laudering as d intent of such underdeclaration can be proved). That was Exactly what happened. The Chap was CONVICTED (he is now an Ex-convict) and made to forfeit a % of d undeclared money found on him, according to d law, and exactly what other tens of persons prosecuted and convicted by d new Anti-Laudering Act, also got. What did you expect? GEJ scheming to take over and/or influence d judge to slam a sentence on Gov Lamido's son beyond d prescribed law, so that you Clowns wud have another opportunity to mastur.bate over a frivolity, abi?- Oh, GEJ is a 'dictator' and is 'prosecuting' Gov Lamido cos he is an 'Anti-GEJ' Gov?? Okpeees.... |
Gbawe: Whatever was gained by the trip has probably been neutralised by the huge expense of taking ten football teams to go and beg for what is effectively 'chicken change'.Does this sort of 'brave and fiscally discipline leadership, predicated on fearless cost-cutting' include your Masters in Lagos who not only own by far the largest LOANS amongst state Govts in Nigeria and have acquired the largest amount amongst States in d last 4 years or so, But has also in fact employed Loans as d major source of funding for virtually EVERY 'big' project it has/is currently undertaken (and to make matter worse, ironically having d same FG that you Clowns love to criticize, GUARANTEE most of d Foreign components of those loans)?? You SHAMELESS HYPOCRITE!! Was it not you and your ruddy Clowns that told us some 2 months or so ago on this very forum, when a poster was complaining about yet ANOTHER loan taken by d Lagos State Govt, that in fact d reason Lenders borrow money to Lagos State Govt in such quantity and at such rate, was cos of its 'sound Economic outlook' - in other words, we ought to even commend them!!! YET, when d FG Govt (or any other non-ACN state for that mata) takes a loan, it means that that Govt is 'broke' and d Economy 'badly ran'....... Bladdi HYPOCRITE |
Lol.... I would have laugh really hard if not for the fact the matter at hand is somewhat serious; so abeg allow me to laugh small- Bwahahahaha ...... Imagine Tinubu of all persons talking about 'Democracy in a party'!! Just imagine! Tinubu, and his minions, sure have an exaggerated sense of the Power of their own Propaganda. ACN, Tinubu's own personal party, has NEVER had any thing remotely resembling a PRIMARY in its history- at least, I have never heard of such; candidates are IMPOSED on d party in d Living Rooms (Or, is it Bedroom sef) of a few party 'elders' (led by Tinubu himself) and nobody (including Bamidele Opeyemi) DARE complain or dissent with d 'party's' decision. YET, Tinubu had d mind to use words like '(internal) democracy in a party...', seemingly with a straight face; esp, after he himself went to Ado-Ekiti just last week and told (ie Directed) Opeyemi pointblank that he should forget his Gov ambition and instead support Fayemi who d 'party' had chosen as its candidate. Omatshe oo. Na dis one Yoruba people dey call Rofo rofo talk..... Even a child would not need to apply his sense to know that dis article is only an AFTERTHOUGHT, a desperate move at 'damage control'. Simplicita. For God's sake, it is so ifffing CLEAR... |
Calamama: Corruption getting worse, says pollThank you much, this was what I was looking for cos I saw this 2 days ago. And this brings me to my question: where did PM and SaharaReporters get the figures ('8th most corrupt', 84%) they are paddling around? Was it not d same TI Report they and BBC are reporting here? If same, why d discrepancy? The BBC article (and many others in local and International Media) seem to indicate that in fact fewer people surveyed in Nigeria reported giving/taken less Bribe this year than was previously d case (at 44% of respondents), a figure that was even slightly lower than that of SA and Ghana (two countries that had always done better than 'us' in this sort of survey) even though d % is still unacceptably high; YET here, PM and SaharaReporters are both reporting an increase to 84% and 8th overall? From d Same report? ....BIG QUESTION: Where is d ACTUAL Report so we may read it ourselves and stop bn dependent on its 'interpretations' by Media organisatns, sm of whom hv since shamelessly taken sides and are Bias... Afta that, I shall comment; But only on what d 'Real' Report actuali says |
The criticism is that President Jonathan shld not be 'silent' ova d crisis? Na only dis Prof and Falana talk? Finish? ....hehehehehehe |
Hehehehehehehehe...... I just dey laugh. |
I honestly pray that this Tinapa Resort finali starts to produce results commensurate to the vision of its founders...... By d way, some really Good news coming from Cross River lately |
If you ACN e-Rats like, go and resurrect an Article that is more than a year old, containing d opinions of a Drowning and Discredicted Terrorist, who hv now been convicted, it wudn't change anytin ie that u guys are bn a Bunch of LOSERS, who were beaten mercilessly by d 'clueless' one, and as things are presently going, wud also be beaten even more d very next time... |
Railway University??... You go fear na |
The Arbiter: A final closure to the contentious issue of protocol which started on this threadGod bless you... End of. Smone shld plz also take this to d other thread. The ACN e-Rats needs to be completely and properly DISGRACED, sam-sam... |
Even d idea of a FIXED charge for Electricity (used or not) doesn't make any sense to me. Whilst, I agree that Consumers shld pay a Charge that wud be used by d Electricity Utility companies to maintain its Equipments and d System itself, I feel this Charge shld be tied to d specific Units of Credit a Consumer buy at any time, and not a FIXED blanket one ie it cud be say 8% of d Amount of Units bought by a Consumer at every time...... |
dayokanu: Tinubu has not forced anyone to join his party, Anyone not satisfied with him and his practice is free to join other parties or platforms. Fight no deyBlaadin HYPOCRITE.....though, no surprises here |
sarutobie: Haven't you shamed yourself and your paymasters enough already??..lol... Good questn |
thelastPope: Isnt it an irony here that the same people claiming GEJ is too extravagant and that Cameron of Britain enters public transport are the same people saying GEJ should have been received at the airport by the Chinese president? Why you WICKED like dis, Guy? Why did you post dis Pics again, na?? Why are you reminding Americans of d Great Atrocity that 'common' SA committed by sending a mere Internal Affairs Minister to receive a 'whole' Obama in d Airport at night without any Guard of Honour of Gun Salute? Why, Guy? Why do you want to pook dis Great 'DISGRACE' at d faces of Americans na? You want them to send a Nuclear weapon to SA to obliterate yr fellow African country for 'Disrespecting' Obama like that??... ![]() |
thelastPope: Posting with extra large fonts will never make your post more intelligent or more authentic! Ask Demdem!Bwahahahaha..... See Finishing! Chei!! You just made a complete Azz of d guy there. .....@lastpope, weldone boo.. |
taharqa2: @MODS shldn't this be on d FP by now for God's sake? |
Clerverly: APC/AMECHI 1 PDP/GEJ 0jobless MUMU-ish |
Pataki: So in your view, President Obama went to South Africa to be begging for their money? GEJ was received by an assistant to the Foreign Affairs Minister. That is like a governor sending one of his commissioners to receive the president and the commissioner sending his personal assistant. No, MUMU-ish. Assistant Foreign Minister is d Equivalent of our own Minister of State here ie d Deputy. He is not a ' Personal Assitant' like you are fooolishly insinuating here.... Okpee, your PROPAGANDA wudn't fly here. And, Piece of Advice: Go and do smtin about yr Emotional Health b4 FRUSTRATION finish you and you die like d LOSER that you are.. |
naptu2: Babangida staged welcoming ceremonies at State House Marina (the dignitary would be received at the airport by the foreign minister or the Chief of General Staff). And that is still d Tradition today in Nigeria, as it is in Most other parts of d world. Though IGNORAMUSES cannot just undastad simple Presidential Protocol.... Even President Jonathan Almost NEVER receives any President himself at d Airport, even if you were Obama. He sends a Minister to receive you, and have you driven to d Steps of Aso Rock where he wud then formally receive the guest himself with all d usual Protocols (inspectn of Guards, Gun salutes, etc). That is just how it is usuali done; BUT peeps who hv Never heard of d word 'Protocol', talkless of 'Presidential Protocol', wud not mind Foooling themselves in PUBLIC |
naptu2: It happens all the time. Not all welcoming ceremonies are held at the airport. Obama's welcoming ceremony in China was not held at the airport.Enlighten these FOOOLS, abeg |
