I agree with all you have said, but ability to buy houses and some other stuffs abroad provides a safe haven for our stolen wealth. The developed countries can help reduce migration if they want to by frowning at corruption in Africa the same way they do in their countries.

2baba shot dead in rivers state




Reports are circulating that notorious cult leader David Gift Opara, alias 2Baba, may have been killed during a police raid on Saturday afternoon. 2Baba has been the prime suspect in the murder of Superintendent Bako Angbashim, the Divisional Police Officer of Ahoada Division, five months ago.



Rivers State police operational teams allegedly raided a hideout belonging to 2Baba in the Idu-Ekpeye area of Ahoada East Local Government. Since the rumors began spreading on Saturday of the cult kingpin potentially being killed in the raid, journalists have been urging the police command for official confirmation, but none has been given so far.



2Baba is wanted for the murder of Angbashim as well as the theft of four 20KVA generators back in September 2022. At that time, 2Baba had seized the generators from a company intending to use them in the Odiemude community, and demanded a 20 million naira "marching ground fee" before releasing them back to the company.

Recently, the Rivers State Police Commissioner Tunji Disu had said the force was closing in on capturing 2Baba. When handing over the recovered generators a few days ago, Disu's deputy Olubenga Adepoju vowed that the five-month hunt for 2Baba would soon yield results.

Like I said earlier, he is speaking half truth and if you listen to solution to the problem you will see that him Erik is part of the problem. He owns Blackwater and he is suggesting that America re-colonise African because African leaders have failed their duties. If that happens, Blackwater will get a huge junk of the budget like they did in Libya, Iraq and Afghanistan. So he is making this statement as a businessman. But in reality, if western powers were frowning at the looting of Nigerian politicians, they would have been a change in culture. Our presidents visit foreign hospital and have standby generators at home. I will blame the foreigners too because they are enablers, they are complaining because migrants are arriving at their boarders at rates never seen before.

His submission is just half of the truth, the western worlds supports African leaders in looting by providing a safe place to hide their loot. If all the monies stolen from Nigeria were invested in Nigeria, we would have had a least a better economy than we have. We will continue to migrate to those countries where our common wealth are been kept, they should be happy that we are doing it legally.
