The problem is the people that stays far away but need to use that route, because the locals knows the drill. 2 weeks ago, I needed to go to Benin from phc and I had to use that route due to flooding on East West Road, getting to a particular check point where they normal ask all occupants of the vehicle to come down and walk across their check point and continue on the other side.
We were four men in our vehicle with the driver, we didn't know about the rule and we drove to check point, the soldier on duty was asking us why are we in the vehicle, we didn't understand what our offence was, he ordered us to come down, and told the driver to park by the side and give him the car keys. We spent close to 2 hours there, the driver gave the soldier 5k for us to continue our journey. Evil knows no one's face. Let's all speak out against evil where ever is been done.

Please check your source again, your information does not mathematically add up, 2.3km length of road divided by 42 communities means that's you have about 54.8 meters of road per community, that's approximately 59 adult male steps to make a community. One of the numbers quoted in the write up is false. So check and correct.

Thank you, my hope is that the youths can read and understand that we are all victims of maladministration. I schooled in the East, did Nysc in West, lived in Abuja and Jos for a while before relocating to Portharcourt. I can tell you for free that the same rain (economic hardship) that falls in the west also falls in the north, South and Eastern part of this country. The moment we realise that we are the ones that will pay for all these financial recklessness being exhibited in our polity today the better.

An average Nigeria youth can be liken to a hungry man who is at home thinking of how to make ends meet only to receiving series of hotel bills from his parents parties that he not even aware of. CBN told us that over 60% of the monies printed are in private vaults.

I can't remember withdrawing 100k cash, all banks have functional apps and cards. If I am to travel, handy 20k and a fuel tank is ok. If I am to make big purchases I prefer bank transfers as they also serves as irrefutable proof of payment and helps accountability. So why keep cash if not for negative reasons.

What is lacking in our society today is accountability, Nigeria has all it takes to be far better than where we are today, if we package and respect ourselves, Oyibo will be queuing up for our visa. We all travel and enjoy how smoothly things work, how easy it is to get things done in organised society, why buy a car that you can't drive in your village because you used the money for road repairs to "feel" among.

Until we understand that we are the ones to fix our nation by managing the little resources we have prudently, then our salvation will be near.

Imagine having a functional water board in villages where water is a scarce commodity, you employ the villagers at the water Corp, the villages gets water, life becomes easier on them because they have one less thing to worry about. The cost of a ferrari can take care of this.

That's one market that shouldn't exist but it does because the banks are weak. Before you get dollar in our bank for official use, it always take months wait. So the black market is booming because it is bridging the gap between our weak banking institutions and demand for fx.

The Eastern votes are at least 70% for him, the 30% will be because of the influence of political office holders in PDP and APC. Normally the Eastern states infrastructure was built by the community, so government influence is only for a few, and the few are the 30%.
