It is better sometimes government do certain things quietly. This same government promised that CNG LPG will be available at 110 pet liter before end of June, but till now nothing. I feel real bad when government goes back and forth with no definite direction. Things like this could make government loose the support of the citizens. |

As a safety officer I am interested in the root cause of this incident. Seun and other nairalanders, please report every bit of investigation of this incident. I know sailing through the creek they may have taken up the jacket legs higher than usual. Lack of dynamic balancing and positioning of the jacket legs could have caused a tilt making one side heavier than others, eventually leading to capsizing the vessel. Again if the remaining jacket legs inside the water stuck to the mud while the vessel is being pulled it could also caused such incident. Just my suggestions of possible root cause. 2 Likes |

Sure I can remember some youths were supposed to be engaged and a payment of 20,000 naira per month paid to them. But unfortunately nobody received shishi. I know of some youths they decieved that time. Many of them spent money they never had just to enroll.. Too bad that at the end one person pocket the money. Whether he sail through the nomination or not, he is already a rich man. |

Government of Bola Ahmed Tinubu should should not try to bring the same foolish policies of the Buhari's government. It is shocking that the president's speech did not say anything about our 4 refineries. Where is the promised CNG/LPG. The measures to alleviate the suffering of the citizens mentioned by president will all fail none will cushion the effects of fuel price hike. Tinubu please don't follow the footsteps of Buhari, if you do you will fail badly. |

All these measures will fail as long as PM's is sold at 650 naira per liter. Very unfortunate that the president Ahmed Tinubu has said nothing about making CNG/LPG available as alternative to PMS and as an immediate measure to bring down food prices to affordable level. Federal government should pursue LPG/CNG palliatives. That's better for the Nigerian public than the nonsense 20k palliative. I don't even know who suggested that type of foolish and ill-percieved palliative. However why do we need 90k to convert petrol generator to gas? My neighbor spent only 25k to convert his petrol generator to gas. Nobody should use this CNG LPG project to exploit Nigerians o. |
