They are a one stop bank. There is a high likelihood that the first person u meet at the customer service understands your investments request or enquiry without tossing you around.

On negotiation of bids, they are also at the fore front
Please educate me on how you calculated the difference of 5.1M to be paid following the low yield and time to maturity. This is for a 55M 12.75% bond maturing in April 2023 having a yield of 8.44%,
Many thanks

You are buying the bond at premium. For a 55M 12.75% bond maturing in April 2023 having a yield of 8.44%,

You will be paying about 60.1M to get this bond at 55M. The difference of 5.1M is the price to pay following the low yield and time to maturity and consideration that a coupon was just paid last month and having just 6 coupons left

Your coupon payment will be on the 55M and that's about 3.5M every 6 months.

Your principal upon maturity is 55M. Next coupon is in October
Please educate me on how you calculated the difference of 5.1M to be paid following the low yield and time to maturity.
Many thanks

On this thread we are repeatedly told: Before you think of gain, returns or interest THINK THE SAFTY OF YOUR FUND/CAPITAL. However, if you are comfortable with the risk involved in any investment after your due diligence, you can always go for it.
Absolutely.

Have you had any experience with them? You can share so people can learn from you.

But, it will interest you to know that, Microfinance banks have been reformed.

NB: They are not my employer. I only invest. The fall of TB rate opened my eyes to that opportunity.

Thank you boss
Ain’t no risk without reward. However, never use the funds earmarked for your Risk free Investments for any risky investment.
Investing with a microfinance bank is very risky.

My Balance on the investnow.ng dashboard seems to change every day or 2 similar to the way Axa Mansard MMF works - I believe this means the interest is applied after CoB(Close of Business). Just thought to mention it.
Many thanks

Dear Ma, @Sholapey @ahiboilandgas I haven't been able to hear from you since that day about the request I made about investing in me..

Am still soliciting from anyone here cry cry

It's Disgraceful like some people would say begging in a public forum.

I know I just have to go with this measures i needed to speak out to let loose of what has been dieing in me.

Am stil bent on soliciting for help won't mind gathering people that love me to sign as my guarantor,so as to achieve my dream since they don't have it.

I have the offer letter already for the 2 year Graduate entry Nursing program which starts October 2020 Sydney Australia

I can't proceed with anything untill my COE is issued to me that can only be sent when I pay the
3mil part tuition.

Nursing is a lucrative course I can do to pay my other bills while studying, Am also a pharmcy Technician here also have other side skilled work to keep me busy.

I would start with the refunds 6months after my arrival this would have to be on a signed paper which any of my loved ones can stand as my guarantor.

Am so eager with my vision I know there's a brighter future in me if I make this bold move.

All am seeking is for help, granting me this loan this should be something i would be thankful for not something my investor should regret.

Let my life story change by you. cry .
I am a hardworking lady very zealous and passionate about my dreams and life goals.

Attached below is a thread I created years ago about my dreams.

3years after things are still the same way cry embarassed
Please help don't let this dreams and vision in me die off, I would start my payment 6months after arrival I will sign this with my loved ones. embarassed cry

I like your aspiration and tenacity. However, this is the dream (to travel abroad) of a good number of persons right now in the country.
What makes yours different?.
Everyone has a dream, and having just a dream does not guarantee returns for an investor.
Keep pushing.

Hello guys,

I am new to mutual funds investment and I’m only in the trial process.

I funded my united capital account but the money is on the cash account and not on the MMF that I want it.

Has any have this similar issue? How do I move the money from the cash account to MMF account so I can earn interest.

Hope to get honest responses thanks

There is also a product being run by United Capital which I subscribed to around February this year when TBills started nosediving...it is called the Bond Fund and as at when I bought into it, it was 10.0% but as at Today it is 9.59%. I think it is a pretty good deal. Very similar to MMF in that profits are calculated on the fly...

I also made sure I got written confirmation of "Security of Capital" from my Account Officer to be sure that it is not an Equity Fund product.
For this bond fund, Is dividend paid quarterly or every 6 months?

Look for someone that as booked a date already but won't go for his or has not been asked to go for medical so you can swap with them. I think there's a guy that wanted to even cancel his appointment last week, try to search for the guy from previous pages cos I can't remember his name.
Another option is for you to walk to the clinic with your medical request (go as early as possible....even before they open for service) and plead with them to assist you cos you don't have time . Good luck and congratulations
Ok bro.
Many thanks

I got a medical request on 13th Jan 2020. All slot is booked till late February for qlife.
So confused now since I have just 30 days for the same.
Anyone with an idea what I can do at this point?

Yes it can be done, but you won't be the one to send it to CIC. Once the clinic/hospital carry out the test they will send it to CIC within days.
You didn't answer the question if the post you replied to was referring to you, because if it is then I am afraid a decision has been reached by CIC and they will get back to you within 7 days , so you can just be patient to see/hear the outcome of their decision. Let me not say more than this
