unite4real: They are a one stop bank. There is a high likelihood that the first person u meet at the customer service understands your investments request or enquiry without tossing you around.
On negotiation of bids, they are also at the fore front Please educate me on how you calculated the difference of 5.1M to be paid following the low yield and time to maturity. This is for a 55M 12.75% bond maturing in April 2023 having a yield of 8.44%, Many thanks |

unite4real: You are buying the bond at premium. For a 55M 12.75% bond maturing in April 2023 having a yield of 8.44%,
You will be paying about 60.1M to get this bond at 55M. The difference of 5.1M is the price to pay following the low yield and time to maturity and consideration that a coupon was just paid last month and having just 6 coupons left
Your coupon payment will be on the 55M and that's about 3.5M every 6 months.
Your principal upon maturity is 55M. Next coupon is in October Please educate me on how you calculated the difference of 5.1M to be paid following the low yield and time to maturity. Many thanks |

emmasoft: On this thread we are repeatedly told: Before you think of gain, returns or interest THINK THE SAFTY OF YOUR FUND/CAPITAL. However, if you are comfortable with the risk involved in any investment after your due diligence, you can always go for it. Absolutely. |

But, it will interest you to know that, Microfinance banks have been reformed.
NB: They are not my employer. I only invest. The fall of TB rate opened my eyes to that opportunity.
Thank you boss Ain’t no risk without reward. However, never use the funds earmarked for your Risk free Investments for any risky investment. Investing with a microfinance bank is very risky. |

speak2lift: My Balance on the investnow.ng dashboard seems to change every day or 2 similar to the way Axa Mansard MMF works - I believe this means the interest is applied after CoB(Close of Business). Just thought to mention it. Many thanks |

Manwarrior55: Hello guys,
I am new to mutual funds investment and I’m only in the trial process.
I funded my united capital account but the money is on the cash account and not on the MMF that I want it.
Has any have this similar issue? How do I move the money from the cash account to MMF account so I can earn interest.
Hope to get honest responses thanks Send your complaints to: CustomerService@unitedcapitalplcgroup.com I hope this will help. |

speak2lift: There is also a product being run by United Capital which I subscribed to around February this year when TBills started nosediving...it is called the Bond Fund and as at when I bought into it, it was 10.0% but as at Today it is 9.59%. I think it is a pretty good deal. Very similar to MMF in that profits are calculated on the fly...
I also made sure I got written confirmation of "Security of Capital" from my Account Officer to be sure that it is not an Equity Fund product. For this bond fund, Is dividend paid quarterly or every 6 months? |

mcobex: Look for someone that as booked a date already but won't go for his or has not been asked to go for medical so you can swap with them. I think there's a guy that wanted to even cancel his appointment last week, try to search for the guy from previous pages cos I can't remember his name. Another option is for you to walk to the clinic with your medical request (go as early as possible....even before they open for service) and plead with them to assist you cos you don't have time . Good luck and congratulations Ok bro. Many thanks |

I got a medical request on 13th Jan 2020. All slot is booked till late February for qlife. So confused now since I have just 30 days for the same. Anyone with an idea what I can do at this point? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by talk2tonie: 5:06am On Jan 16, 2020 |
mcobex: Yes it can be done, but you won't be the one to send it to CIC. Once the clinic/hospital carry out the test they will send it to CIC within days. You didn't answer the question if the post you replied to was referring to you, because if it is then I am afraid a decision has been reached by CIC and they will get back to you within 7 days , so you can just be patient to see/hear the outcome of their decision. Let me not say more than this Hello bro, I got a medical request on 13th Jan 2020. All slot is booked till late February for qlife. So confused now since I have just 30 days for the same.
