What sort of name is Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina

Is there a reason she is south-Africanizing all her names. Removed the n in chidinma and added a T to her last name.

Even Satafrikans are confused at the names, but she is more beautiful than 99% of the so called Satafrikans.
There is no N in Chidimma

I pray they find someone because that woman can't defeat Trump. Americans go carry equality and women empowerment for head like gala until it's time to elect a president then they will dump it one side and vote for a man.

Christianity EtcRe: Why Catholics Use Images At Worship - Catholic Priest Artist Fr. Nnadi Explains by Tallesty1(m):
People always give reasons for their actions, even irrational ones. The real question is, what does the Bible say about these things?

"You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments." - Exodus 20:4-6.

Some might argue that this is Old Testament and does not count anymore, so let's see what's in the New Testament.

"But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him." - John 4:23-24.

Also, what they post as Jesus, God, or even Mary are not their actual pictures. What they post as Jesus is either Leonardo Da Vinci's painting of his partner or one white actor. Nobody has seen God; I don't know how they got his image, and the woman they post as Mary is actually the statue of a goddess.

If you mention Mary, they lie that they only honor her and not worship her, yet they do it in their prayers. Let's take this one for example:

"We fly to thy patronage, O holy Mother of God; despise not our petitions in our necessities, but deliver us always from all dangers, O glorious and blessed Virgin."

Even a sane person, even fools, know that the above is a prayer, everyone except Catholics.

PoliticsRe: The Actual Reason Why Nigeria Can Never Have 24/7 Electricity Supply by Tallesty1(m): 9:49am On Jul 18, 2024
SmartPolician:
Some Nigerians enjoy 24/7 power now, especially those in Band A. Where I am in Enugu currently, they don't seize power. The moment it goes, it is restored. The truth is that power isn't cheap and what determines whether people will enjoy steady power or not depends on their ability to pay for it.

As for having the resources to generate enough power, Nigeria has it. That's why a state like Imo is focusing on using gas to generate 24/7 power while the north uses hydropower and Tinubu is trying to get World Bank to grant Nigeria a loan for solar power. Some parts of Edo State are already enjoying power from solar.

So, in summary, 24/7 power supply is feasible, but only those that can afford it will enjoy it because power isn't cheap.
Power isn't cheap, which is true, but why it's so costly in Nigeria is because:

1. There are households that do not pay. Go to the North, and you will see what I am saying. Their usage is not captured at all because they're not registered to begin with. They just give the NEPA guys anything they can, and that is it. Some don't even give them anything at all. Those Alhajis specialized in breading do not pay NEPA bills. Some who will receive the NEPA bill from tenants but will not remit it to NEPA.

2. Many houses are connected to one pole and registered to one house. Go down to the South and Middle Belt states, and you will see this. What they do is step down the light from one pole and distribute it to many houses. Once the bill arrives, they share the cost among all the connected houses. You will see a family use light for a month and pay only N500 and sometimes N200 in NEPA bills.

This is why unmetered people are charged high rates because each zone has a monthly remittance target, regardless of actual usage. So, once the money is collected from the metered people, whatever is left is distributed among the unmetered houses.

3. Big men in this country who own factories and organizations hardly pay their bills. You see it in the news: how this firm owes millions and that ministry owes billions.

4. People bypass meters. We all know this, so I don't need to explain.

Why is this happening? It's simple: the house cannot fall and the ceiling will not be affected Nigeria is corrupt. Once houses are metered and everyone pays for what they use, trust me, light will be cheaper than it currently is, but those who benefit from the corruption will not let it happen.

Metering everyone fairly would increase accountability and ensure that everyone pays their share, reducing the burden on honest consumers. However, the entrenched interests and beneficiaries of the current corrupt system resist these changes because they profit from the chaos and inefficiency.

If the government and power companies enforce strict metering and billing practices, it would not only make electricity more affordable but also improve the reliability of the power supply. Until then, the current issues of corruption, theft, and unfair billing practices will continue to plague the Nigerian power sector.

AlaafinOfOyo:
In 2014 November, I dreamed that Buhari won in my first ever political dream. Last night I dreamed about the planned protest against Tunubu and it was bad ... very bad. I suggest people let this incompetent government be. After all, if the people stood their ground before they stole power, things won't be this bad.

Elections have consequences. They always do. But peace is invaluable, even under a bad corrupt government.

We all supported our candidates for one selfish reason or the other however it turned out doesn't stop me from saying the truth. I'm not pleased with the way everything is going and I will say it but that doesn't mean I don't still love him as a father.
You're wrong. Some people genuinely want Nigeria to work because once it does, it favors all.

People who have been to places where things work want the same thing here. That's all.

I for one do not get anything directly from the government but I am a hustler so good policies favours me and bad ones affects me, so when we fight for the best of this country, it is for these reasons.

But people that supported Buhari and Tinubu knew quite well that they will flop, they supported them for stupid reasons like party, religion, region or past favors.

I have been in PDP all my life but did I support Atiku in the last election?

We know a bad market when we see one. I once asked you what Tinubu used to convince you to vote for him but na the same old story
