komzy589: You are not getting the point. I’m only trying to help you Obi supporters. Imagine you trying to sell a new idea to someone by telling them their original idea is senseless. That’s desperation and you will not sell anything. I just politely gave you my reasons for preferring Atiku and you are riling up with words like senseless and brainless. Like I said, I’ve experienced Obi’s government before and I wasn’t convinced. Your comment is not close to being good enough to change that. Have a good day. Stop already. I supported Obasanjo, Jonathan, and voted for Atiku because I believed they were better candidates during their time. I only wished it was Obi and Osibanjo contesting; I wouldn't have bothered to vote because whoever won would have been good for the country. I did not vote for them as a favor; I voted for those I was certain would do better. You and your likes need to discard the idea that by voting for or supporting Obi, you are doing Obidients or Igbos a favor. That is rubbish. How is the life of an average APC supporter better than that of an Obidient? "Emi lo kan" and "Ebi n pawa" came from the same people, so that should tell you something. Nobody needs your help, nobody asked for it, so stop trying to help. You voted for Atiku; that is fine. It is also okay to support Tinubu. I am not in Labour, but I voted for Obi. What I am against is throwing unnecessary and unfounded allegations at Obi to justify voting for your candidate. It is a stupid thing to do. Atiku dumped PDP and moved to APC, then back to PDP. He was running for the sixth time, but you voted for him because Obi was desperate? Do you not see how hypocritical that sounds? Vote for Remi Tinubu in 2027 and Shettima after her; nobody cares. Just stop trying to tarnish Obi's image. That is all. Someone running for the first time is desperate, but the person who decamped from another party and helped them wrestle power from his own party's candidate just so he could have a chance at the presidency isn't? Your hypocrisy stinks. Have a nice life. |

komzy589: You see what I mean. I didn’t curse you, I just gave you a honest opinion why I don’t support Obi and you’re suggesting that common sense eludes me. That’s the kind of attitude that Obi has put on you guys. Someone who was contesting for the first is desperate so you voted for someone who was contesting for the sixth time because he is not desperate and you think asking you if type before thinking is an insult? |

komzy589: I second her on this. No one disliked Asiwaju more during the last election but Obi is too desperate. I was at Unizik when he was governor, he didn’t pull up trees. So I voted for Atiku. A man who lost VP election, 4 years later, he’s contesting for president against his boss in 2019 because he enjoyed some support then. Too craving for me liking. is that you people talk without thinking or common sense just eludes you? Obi who was coming out for the first is desperate so you voted for Atiku who was contesting for the six times? Make it make sense guy |

If you understand Nigeria's politics you'll know Obi can't be president, not even when it's the northerners turn after asiwaju's tenure.
I don't believe Obi is what Nigeria needs, he's sooooo fake, I mean can't you all see it? Hian I asked you a simple question. What did he steal? Can you prove that he is a thief? |

His appointees are wash and incompetent, there's no good governance if the citizens are crying daily in hardship. Meanwhile this doesn't mean Obi is the solution, he's another big pretentious thief. Can you back this up with evidence? |

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2012/02/doctors-call-off-13-month-old-strike-in-anambra/amp/ Everybody knows about the strike and what it was about. Even the link you shared didn't mention minimum wage but you had to use to cover your lies because you know that many won't open the link. Doctors in the government payroll needed salary increase, Obi agreed to pay 60 of what they asked for, they refused and went on a 13 month. Tell me, how does that amount to Obi not being able to pay minimum wage? |
Romance › Re: Why Is Sex Before Marriage A Sin? by Tallesty1(m): 8:03am On May 24, 2024 |
StillDtruth: Yes! They were not married.
They were still at the dating stage when satan got them to fall.
Yes! They were not married.
They were still at the dating stage when satan got them to fall.
And as you see, you do not see any place where God declared them husband and wife nor do you see any marriage ceremony and celebration take place.
Which is why even male Adam said "it is the woman you gave me" and not it is the wife you gave me or it is my wife whom you gave me.
Parental consent is a very important ingredient of having a valid marriage and a public show by the parents is also integral to it. That is why all over the world traditional amd customary marriages are valid. What actually marries a man to a woman is their vows, not just parental consent. The moment a man asks a woman to marry him in good faith and she agrees in good faith, they are as good as married, but I think that is beyond the scope of your question. Since you talked about consent, let me ask you: which consent is better than God's consent? Adam and Eve didn't have parents. God saw what Adam needed and gave him one, so what else do you want? A wedding with God as the officiating priest and animals as guests? Also, things change. There was just one law in the garden and there is no sin without law. You do know that marrying one's sibling was okay and legal until the law against it came much later? Adam's children married each other, etc. |

Romance › Re: Don’t Pay N3m Bride Price For A Girl Disvirgined With Urgent 2k – Reno Omokri by Tallesty1(m): 4:54pm On May 23, 2024 |
cococandy: The girls that were “disvirgined” with urgent 2k or Indomie are the innocent young girls who believed in love and went into relationships with poor boy with hopes of mutual growth and a future together. When or if the relationship packs up and everyone goes their way for whatever reason , you guys are saying those girls aren’t worth it anymore because they were previously with poor men?
Y’all’s train of thought never makes sense and I’ve given up trying to understand Some of these threads are better ignored for your own peace of mind. If this kind of thinking was coming from a Nairalander, I would have said it was the usual trolling, but I expected Reno to know better. Bride price was a man's idea, not the woman's. Whether you pay billions or 10 kobo, it goes to the men, not the women. Last I checked, ladies from places where the bride prices are high are voicing their displeasure. If you allowed them, marriage would be free, but their uncles will never permit that. So, if I meet a woman who is well brought up, someone who will give me peace, help me grow, and become a better person, I will now reduce her bride price to N50 because she had sex with my own kind? One minute we are complaining that girls don't give broke guys a chance, next we are saying that marrying someone who dated someone that couldn't marry him prolly because he is broke and cannot run a family is a no no. That kind of thinking is dangerous. It is disgusting. Reno is a mature man, at least in age. He claims to be a pastor, is educated and well-traveled, and is also a writer, yet he thinks this way. Now imagine what an average Nairalander who hasn't even checked his JAMB result will think. Ignore them for your own mental health. |

Some guy mentioned late Alaafin wives. Is he aware those girls were betrothed to him by their families? Every single one of them ran away before his demise. One is remarried. One is dating Portable. The calmest of them, Queen Ola, was caught fighting over MC Oluomo via a voicenote.
Precious married FFK and gave birth via IVF. She no finally run?

EDIT: I don't think this topic gets discussed enough, and it should, with the rate of consumption of blue pills and concortion by even young men in their 20s. E reach to table the matter.
Without these medicines, a lot of young men's dicks don't work today, and the effectiveness of those pills drop with each use, so it is a reality facing many. A man whose ihea is retired needs a house-help not a wife. |

Shattuck: this is quite an irresponsible and selfish statement, when you enter into a new property and everything is in perfect shape it is just duty to make sure everything remains so at the point of departure, you can't come to someone property and damage appliances like that, I had one who damaged the door with hammer because he had a fight with his ex, he claimed it was the ex who did it who gets to fix a damage door, with cost of fixing it almost 20k, we can all complain about landlords but most tenants aren't nice people at all, they don't give a damn about the state of the property, and they have no sense of responsibility, if not for caution fee and other compulsory obligation and monitoring, you would have a case where most houses would be unhabitable after a tenant leaves. How exactly is damage from wear comparable to breaking the door with a hammer? |

SmartyPants: I have been to the East and stayed there for close to a year. What nonsense... Now it has turned to comparing how soldiers treat youths in the north vs south east. on a thread about how 40 plus people were killed, you've turned it into complaining about checkpoints in the South East! Do you see how insane your need to always make the conversation about yourselves is?? Maybe if the soldiers harassing people down East are were there is a serious bandit and bokoharam issue, where their service is actually needed the most, maybe the 40 wouldn't have died. Use your sense |
Politics › Re: ’40’ Shot Dead As Bandits Sack Plateau Community by Tallesty1(m): 11:27am On May 21, 2024 |
SmartyPants: When last were soldiers deployed in any non-routine rotation to the South East? When was the last time there was a major military incident involving the South East?
This is now bordering on narcissism. An incident occurs in the South South (Okuama), yet you will see people turning it into something about the South East. Now something has happened in Plateau, you've not even expressed any sympathy for the victims, you've jumped straight to a totally unreasonable comment bringing in the South East.
Are you not becoming mass attention seekers like this?? Travel to South East first, then north and compare your experience before you can type this rubbish. In south East with no banditory or bokoharm, there is a check point every ten steps you take, youths are searched and rough handled like criminals but is it the same in the north? You need to experience south east before you can form opinion on this. |

Puss360: Lol, property of landlord, but is being used by tenants... So if the tenants misuse it , it should still be landlord that will replace it because "It's the property of the landlord"...
We always don't like taking responsibility for our actions We are so used to the abnormal that it has become the new normal. Once the pumping machine breaks down, you should inform the caretaker or whoever is in charge of the house that it is faulty. It is not your responsibility to fix it. You made a payment that covers those repairs when you paid your house rent. Normally, it is not even your responsibility to fix the lights or change sockets; the caretaker should take care of it. Landlords are responsible for repairs and maintenance that ensure the property remains habitable for his tenants. Things like plumbing, electrical systems, pumping machine and all are his responsibilities. Rent isn't a one time payment so he is supposed to ensure that those things you are renewing your rent to keep using are in good shape. |

Rice, Beans, Tomatoes,Onions, Meat, Fish and everything we eat are brought in from the North. Couple with the high rate of transportation in the East. Transportation in the East is also the highest. Even Air transportation to the East is twice the one for other Regions that are far.
