I grew up thinking that my father hated me but I have realized now that I deserved all the treatment he gave me and more. It is now clear to me that he's a loving and caring dad. I almost had a heated argument with a friend one day about that phrase "a woman has no church until... then I had to ask some other friends of mine and confirmed that.

To me, it's kinda ridiculous because it is by choice. When couples gets married, they can decide whether which church they want to belong to, be it the woman's or the man's.

There's one thing you have understand about marriage in Nigeria. Some people call it women bashing when I say it but that's just the truth.
