Classical example of an emotional appeal and FEAR OF HELL.

Its very obvious, even if theists try to deny this, that the main reason why many people remain religious that they fear eternal damnation in hell.

Not only is this saddening and pathetic, it is also pityable. Christains have tried severally to rationalize the concept of an all loving god creating hell , by stating that hell wasnt created for man.

However, which ever way you look at it, logically, the concept of hell alone betrays Gods Ominscience and Omnibenovelence.

Which ever god falls short of these two qualities hardly qualifies to bear the title "God".

As an agnostic , i dont know if a creator might exist or not, but of all religions in existence, the idea of the creator in which they propose usually turns out to be fallacious and self contradictory.

There's no concrete evidence to suggest that theres actually a supernatural. Most "supernatural" events that are subjected to rigourus study and scrutiny, have been observed to be mere ununderstood natural phenomena.

The bold is true. No matter how much they pretend, the fear of hell still grips them thats why when we talk about it they feel threatened. Hell fire cannot be wiped out because some people decided to believe that it does not exist.

You'd only find creationists making this claim. Evolution is evolution, biologically theres no relevant difference between macro and micro evolution.

Evolution at both these stages relies on the same, established mechanisms of evolutionary change: mutation.

Macro evolution is simply accumulation of micro evolutions over a LONG period of time.

I believe before the creator created man and bestowed upon him intelligence and and the power to act freely, he must have seen the result of mans abuse of his freewill.

If this is not so, then the creator lacks knowledge of future events. But if so, then the creator has serious personality issues. Because it would be better of for everyone if his grand mistake did not occur in the first place.

Or better still, since you(man) lack knowledge of your origins, you created a creator for yourselves, attribute to him highly illogical concepts and worship him anyway.

Most theistic arguments about God on the internet are usually an emotional appeal as to why it makes sense to believe in God so as to maybe enjoy a blissful afterlife, or escape eternal damnation.

Factually, there is NO PROOF for God(s) existence.

Since the onset of mans knowledge, we have tried to make sense of the world around us. We have done this using different gods to explain things we dont understand.

Recently the incomplete knowledge about the origins of our existence has been one of the biggest gaps for Gos(s) to fill. But as science and knowledge increases, number and need for gods shrinks.

Atheism is not a belief system. Scientifically, nobody ever said nothing created the universe. The universe evolved from a big bang, before that nobody knows what was.

You have no proof of this. Believe me. alot of people standing in the middle not actually sure exactly what they believe go through this forum everyday. Some have had their faith strengthened in whatever religion they belong, while some have become agnostic/atheists or even deists. Usually people tend to be excited when they finally make up their mind where to stand, it could be these guys are happy about their new stand and want to share with the world considering the kind of society here in Nigeria it makes sense to mostly see and hear of atheists online.

If Your Science is all knowning what has stopped it from explaining the origin of the smallest atom. or finding cure for HIV,Cancer, or stop Earthquakes,Hurricane,Tusnami, or secret to conquer death?

GOD said He would destroy Jerusalem with a fire that shall not be quenched(Jer. 17:27). We know that the fire that devoured Jerusalem went out after it completed its work of destruction.

The fire of hell will never be quenched until it has completed its work of annihilation. Satan and sinners will cease to exist forever and ever.

i swear. Any reasonable mind knows the concepts of hell makes NO sense. Some denominations these days claims the destruction is once and for all. But whats written in the bible is clear as day.

Nobody will burn in hell forever. The fire of the vengeance of GOD will burn Satan and sinners and obliterate them/annihilate them. Then the memory of them will be deleted and forgotten forever.

It would be a massive turn-off to those that will be saved to know that sinners are still existing in some part of GOD's Creation supposedly burning.

This is laughable i must say, let me tell you something about the big bang you probably do not know. The entirety of all laws of nature, physics or science as you said was birthed at the moment of the big bang, any physics beyond that point of singularity is completely unrecognised by us. Therefore subjecting the universe to be a product of cause and effect is just NONSENSE. How the universe came about wether by chance or whatever is completely unknown.

Infact, the big bang is simply a theory proposed to explain the galatic redshift the cosmic microwave background and cosmic neutrino background. In simple words the big bang was a theory formed out of numerous observations and evidences, so asking for evidence for the big bang or the saying the big bang must occur by chance shows poor understanding of the subject.

Nobody knows why and what triggered the big bang. We only know that it happend 13.8 billion years ago and how it happened PERIOD.
