cococandy: Do you know that colonialism and homophobia go hand in hand. You can’t say that you hate what the colonizers and slavers did while at the same time promoting discrimination against LGBTQ people.
The very idea of “othering” is straight from the colonizers play book. Where people who are considered different are oppressed and disenfranchised. Many people who think homophobia is African culture are ignorant to the fact that they are tenaciously holding onto colonial culture that were beaten into us by the slavers first and then the colonial masters later.
Your religion that is anti gay is from your colonial masters. If you’re going to say something, at least be accurate about it.
Know your history Comparing colonialism to homosexuality shows that you have no idea of what you're talking about. One has To do with the subjugation of people against their will while the other is sexual deviance which is also against the will of the people. Majority of Nigerians do not accept homosexuality and passing such laws here will be undemocratic . If every sexual deviance must be accepted against the common morals and religion of man then consensual incest will be legalized, consensual pedophilia will be legalized , beastality will be legalized afterall we kill animals without their consents . My point is, if we believe in democracy then we must believe in the right of a people to decide on what's good for them. Same way you kill innocent babies with the legalization of abortion which is against human rights, same way you said consensual polygamy is illegal even though it has to do with choice and nobody questioned their decision, they must not question us too |

cococandy: If you’re no longer in 1734, why is it hard for you to come to terms with the idea of freedom of association for everyone as they choose? That’s a basic tenet of progress. That people can live and love as they choose without fear of harm or discrimination. I mean if you’re no longer in 1734. They can't decide what's human right and what's not? These are the people in support of abortion which kills a life, Is that not against human Right They're the people against polygamy, criminalizing it in some states, is that not against choice which is human right? They're the ones who were in support of slavery just 150 years ago They're the ones who robbed our resources in the name of colonialism, killing our people like animals just 60 years ago and yet they think they have the moral right to talk about human right If we are to believe in human right and justice then the right of a people to decide what's right for them or not must be respected. Democracy is all about the people's will and Africans , Arabs, Chinese and half the world says no to homosexuality which is against nature and our religions. You can accept It because you're attracted to what you already have but we sane people won't allow it forced down our throat . |

We have to say, hausa fulani, two tribes, one dun become minority.
It is just a fact, Nigeria can't work. Their whole aim is to kill all the igbo Christians and then takeover the east and its resources. No representation of anything, and you call that a country. They made laws in their areas, to stop the movement of people, laws that supersede the national laws.

Maybe you guys don't know what population density is.
The north is far bigger than the south in land size. The whole southeast is not as big as kogi state alone in land size , so that means the South east have more population density than any other region because of their small land. Kogi is not even amongst the biggest northern state in land size |

ImmaculateJOE: Now that we know that, Tinibu cannot be declared the winner, despite the massive rigging, voters suppression and suppression of votes because he didn't made 25% in FCT..
A rerun is inevitable... Look at the subsection 3b, who among Atiku and Obi will meet the criteria...?
I think Mr. Obi did..
He got Majority of votes in 5 SE states, plus Delta, Edo, and FCT... That's 8 states.. From my records, Atiku only manage that in Adamawa and Gombe..
N:B.. "Highest Votes" & Majority Votes" are two different things..
Highest votes simply means you scored more votes, even if it is by one vote..
But Majority votes mean 50%+1 votes..
#ObiIsComing Do you even have a brain, what's this rubbish |

Nazgul: Olodo...common primary school mathematics you don't even know. No wonder they said Tinubu's supporters are all urchins.
Now let me school you...You can thank me later.
APC had 375,183 votes
20% of 300k is 60k
Thats not what 25% means. 25% has to do with the total votes , you'll add the votes by all parties and divide by 4 , thats the 25% of votes casted in a state. Obi didn't get it here 5% of 75k is 3,500
So technically the 25% of APC's total score should be approximately 64,000 and Peter Obi score over 80k. What does that tell you? |

Afodot0022: Good day naira landers and happy holiday. I am writing this base on the challenge am having in my marriage. Some of you might have known little about the issue i had previously cos i brought it to the forum.
It happened that my wife was having emotional affairs with another man which i knew through her chat.
Though family and pastor were involved and have tried everything to resolve the issue between us. I have decided to forgive and forget and also give her a second chance even though it was a difficult situation for me, I decided to let go cos of my two daughters and don't want them to share from a broken home.
Now the issue am still having is that my wife has promise to change and be a better person and also promise to cut any emotional tile with the man. But I wasn't confident with that, so i told her to block this guy on all social media and also delete his number so there wont be any communication between them cos i sense if they both keep in touch, they might go back to what they were doing before. She got angry when i told her this and she said she can't block the guy cos they have been friends for many years even before she got married to me.
She started dating the guy last year under my roof and her reason was that i pushed her to do such act cos i wasn't giving her enough attention and love which is totally a lie.
So house, pls just let me know if i did wrong by telling her to block the guy or i over did it. I just felt blocking him will be best for us cos i noticed my wife is not fully detached from this guy emotionally.
Pls if you are in my shoes, what will you do house. If you want to get more insight about what transpired, you can go to my details nairaland.
Pls mod, help me by doing the needful. You're very very very stewpid. Weakk assss man |

When did Christians emerge in kaduna? Is it not the white men that brought christianity a 100 years ago? Kaduna Christian have and will always be minorities , but the thing with northern muslim majority state is that they'll pick a Christian as a deputy , thats how states like kaduna, kogi, nasarawa , niger, kwara etc while Christian majority states like Taraba , plateau, Benue will always go with a Christian Christian ticket, ignoring the Muslim minorities . El rufai decided to use a Muslim Muslim ticket against a Muslim Christian ticket to show that the Christians are minorities and its just because of the Muslims inclusiveness that made them politically strong in kaduna, now you're here claiming they were once 70% and now 30% . lhordspy: The outcome of Kano state election next year, both presidential and governorship will be very interesting. It is more like a battleground. A political war zone between Tinubu/Ganduje vs Shekarau/Atiku vs Kwankwanso/with his vast kwankwasiya memebers and structure.
Kwankwanso dont care about the presidency, he want kano state back under him. Shekarau having calculated this, defected to PDP, making it even more interesting.
Ganduje must be unsettled heading to next year election. It is no news that Ganduje has little to few power in kano state political settings. It is always a power struggle between Shekarau and Kwankwaso. With shekerau in PDP and kwankwaso refusing to throw in the towel. Ganduje look stuck between two trailers.
I can never put my money on any political party to win any of these three state - Kano, Nasarawa , and Plateau
It can swing anywhere. The fact that you compare kwankwaso to shekarau like equals and the fact that you think kano Is a swing state shows that u don't understand kano politics. 2019, kwankwaso defeated Ganduje, buhari, shekarau and was leading before they declared it inconclusive and then massively rigged the supplementary election. Currently NNPP will win both presidential and governorship in kano, APC and PDP are fighting for 25% and to close the gap. In 2 months time you'll realize I'm right |

tctrills: Even in Plateau, Benue and Taraba, PDP had been strong since 1999 but things have completely changed. The northern Muslim wants Obi. Yes he would not get 25% in every northern state. But there are at least 9 northern states where Christians have more than 25 % of the population. States like Kaduna, Nasarawa, Gombe, Niger, Kogi, Adamawa, and maybe Borno. Christian population in Borno is between 20 to 25%. The other northern states have a Christian population ranging from 5 to 20%. Christians In Borno are not more than 10% and I'm being generous, if you doubt me wait for the election result and see for yourself Let's assume obi gets 25% in 9 northern state which I know its impossible because 25% is like 1 vote in every 4 votes . He will surely gets 25% in the 5 eastern states and the 6 SS states He will 25% in abuja and lagos Thats 22 states and he needs to get 25% in 24 states. Remember that LP has no structure in the rural areas and villages where PDP and APC will buy lots of votes , remember that some northern Christians will pick their ethnic or regional candidates over religion , remember that alot of them have been loyal to PDP since 1999 . Remember my comment |

If Obi wins the Christian vote as he would, the Muslim vote would be divided among the 3 major Muslim candidates. That's why we keep saying that Obi stands a chance of winning. 20% of the northern vote plus South East and South South. The major northern Christian votes are in benue, plateau, taraba . He will get 25% easily here but in other northern state hmmmmm it'll be difficult to get 25% . Remember that the northern Christians have been strong PDP supporters since 1999 . |
