I have a lot on my hand and as a FTM,its not been easy. I no get mama,my hubby no dey around and I cum get lazy,useless and wicked MIL.

I had to send my MIL back to her place after I suffered in her hand. I ate biscuit and tea for a week after delivery cos of my hand pain which didn't allow me cook and MIL no cook for me. now I ve left lagos for ibadan(my papa house) wen I couldn't bear the wahala alone. So please bear with me. I'm writing it in bits and hopefully by next tomorrow I will post it. Thanks fir the mentions and messages.

Please, my baby no dey belleful o. He doesnt even play at all. If he isn't sleeping then he must be eating else ba to dey scream remain. Dem say na "OKA" dey worry am which I don't know the English name but when he cries vein will show well on his head and also on his stomach and I heard it will make baby not to develop. Please help!

D truth s dat d dr i was using then gv me salbutamol, i wasnt so comfortable so sought a 2nd opinion. D 2nd dr told me i may nt b needing it, dat i shld tk it only if d contractions become painful and den report to d hsptl. D contraction never became painful before term so i didnt tk d drug.

I'm new here 'n would want to b a part of u,i'm 25wks gone wit twins,but startd feelin dis painless contraction at 24wks,saw my Dr,'n he treated mi of malaria because of oda signs i had,also gave mi a pink tab(sabutanol) for d contraction.he said I shld rest well 'n wil b on dat drug(3x dly) til 36wks,but d drug makes mi feel dizzy alot 'n breathless,has any1 been on dis drug,hw was delivery? A big congrats to all d new moms,for d pushin mamas,we shall all carry to term IJN.

welcone dear. I think u shld discuss those side effects wt ur dr. U may need to discontinue d drug. If possible, seek a 2nd opinion. I had painless contractions early too, bt didnt use salbutamol.

its not likely catarrh. it normal wt most babies, will outgrow it as he develops. Just make sure his environment isnt too cold(eg too much ac or fan). Continue feedibg him well too. He s fyn

Able mama's in the house am a ftm and my baby is 5weeks old now.At birth she weighed 3.6kg.After her birth she started loosing weight due to my nt been able to produce enough milk we supplemented wit formula but decided to continue breastfeeding feeding since am producing enough b.milk but upon going for checkup today for her she weighed 3.6kg again.pls mothers I need ur help am told I should eat more and eat well balanced diet.I will really need you to advice on the types of food I should eat so she can add up.

And medically, we don't advice teething powder or drugs for d kids cos nt ll baby even manifest any sign nd symptoms while feeding.

I undstd ur point, bt there s an average expected weight for age for every child. It helps in monitoring weight gain in children. Her baby's weight s in d lower limit of normal, so if she can feed more often i think it ll help. Of course, there s no cause for alarm

Yes, he is holding his neck now. He poo often, it started when he was 2 weeks old . I complained here, they said it's normal. That time, immediately I finish breastfeeding him, he poo straightaway and it's foamy but now it's no more foamy. His poo is very light and has white stuff inside.

sorry dear, its because ur womb is gradually increasing as ur baby s growing. Eat a little meal at a time( u may increase frequency, bt reduce quantity per feed).Dont lie down immediately after eating. Try nt to eat late in d nyt. It ll soon pass, dont worry

Someone advised I start now so that when he starts teething, it won't disturb him. He takes NAN and I breastfeed him also. He takes NAN twice a day, I don't give him weekend.

I don't keep records but he sucks fine. In the day, anytime he starts disturbing, I put bresst in his mouth. He sucks at least 4 times before daybreaks

I ll advice u leave off d teething powder. My ds never took it, and he s fine. I also think u shld feed her more often, she s probably nt getting enuf. Wot quantity of milk do u gv her, u may probably increase it gradually.Give enuf water too and continue breastfeeding. Apart frm her weight, is there any oda issue? is she holding her neck nw?

here s a recipe for homemade pizza sm1 gv me.
Ingredients for the dough; flour 2cups, sugar 4spoons(or to taste),a pinch of salt, 1/2teaspoon of yeast, warm water.
Method;mix all d dry ingredients together, add warm water bit by bit till its firm and goes off ur palm. put in a bowl(plastic or glass helps rising better dan stainless), cover wt nylon and keep in a warm place for abt 1hr.
For d filling u ll need; ketchup, mayonnaise,boiled egg, onions, carrot, green peas and beans, u can add meat, fish or chicken, if u hv cheese u cn add.
Fry all d veggies(boil d peas b4 frying), add the shredded meat and chopped boiled egg, add salt and other spices, leave to cool then mix wt mayonnaise.
The dough shld b ready now, knead into d pan u want to use. rmbr to grease d pan first.The first layer s d ketchup , after dat add the filling. u can top wt cheese if u hv. u can also slice fresh tomatoes on top. Then bake until d dough s done.
