Won't be surprised if these killer Boko Haram agents are enrolled into our security architecture to act as internal saboteurs to the Nigerian security framework. Won't be surprised if Buhari retires some top southern security officers in sensitive security positions and chooses their replacement from among these terrorists. Finally we can see why they are afraid of Amotekun. Their 608 terrorists foot soldiers to be recruited to the army, navy and police and posted to the south to unleash terror and provide tactical support to the marauding killer Fulani herdsmen terror groups will not have free access in the South West anymore. No wonder Amotekun is giving these bloodsucking terrorists nightmares and sleepless nights.

This is what inspiration is all about you bring kids from a village primary school in the interior parts of the state to an airport and expose them to an aircraft, let them touch and enter see the insides of an aircraft, interact with pilots both Male and female, crew members who look like them, ground operations team, ticketing agents, bag handlers, security personnel, air tower operator etc

Kids start dreaming of this kind of careers.
Akwa ibom state government well done. For inspiring hope. Suddenly this kind of career begins to look real and achievable to these kids.

It took Japan just fifty or so years to modernize its island and rival most of the anglo-european world. Do you guys think that there will come a day when we have a functional government, a society that distribute wealths across the board and relative stability? I just want a ball park figure. I think this can be done in three hundred years, what about you?

Foreign Affairs / Re: Africans Immigrants Dont Have The Most Degrees In America by tck2000(m): 11:47am On Jan 18, 2020
AfroAGoGo:
Dunnoe where you are coming from with that argument, but what I've gathered from reading Wikipedia or sites like that is that African immigrants have the highest percentage of degrees compared to other immigrants in the States.
Example: out of 10 Nigerians living in the US, 9 of those will have graduate degrees.
On the other hand, maybe out of 10 Koreans living in the states only 7 of those will have graduate degrees.
Meanwhile maybe out of 10 white Americans, only 6 have graduate degrees.
Kind of debunks the "model minority" myth that Asians hold as being the most studious group in the States.

China seems to focus more on the future, while we (Africans) are viewing things only for today.
These people (the Chinese) will continue to dig deeper and deeper for the gold as long as they are allowed to do so; It is very important for all African leaders in general to be very careful not to keep a poisonous snake as pet.

Absolute capitalism like in america run side by side with democracy. While democracy is of the people, for the people and by the people, capitalism is a few against the masses.

But the coin is turning, the people are beginning to ask questions and they want to know the truth.

Business / Re: Capitalism Or Socialism: Which One Is Better? by tck2000(m): 11:40am On Jan 18, 2020
coderXO:
Socialism is pseudo-Communism in disguise.

In communism, you work as hard as you can for the state and for others (supposedly).
Needless to say communism doesn't work because of man's (leaders) inability to curb his greed in the long run.
In an ideal world communism sounds the perfect model, but in the real world it eventually crumbles.

Socialism breeds bums who live off the state (everyone else working for the state).

So back to Capitalism which you say breeds greed.
You work as hard as you can for yourself, that is the motto.

None is perfect I guess but
I take Capitalism.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Must We Industrialize To Develop? by tck2000(m): 11:35am On Jan 18, 2020
lucabrasi:
yes, industrialization is the key to africa joining the developed countries, if you look at china's history pre mao,it was worse than africa with the corruption, poverty, bad leadrship, tribalism untill the communist revolution and mao zedong's far reaching reforms even though he was a dictator,he also unified china and gave them a unity of purpose, china has followed his blue print and its clear to see how that has helped them to their present position in world finance/politics ,

infrastructure is part of industrialization!
Foreign Affairs / Re: Why Are Countries With Nuclear Weapons Against Others Who Want To Develop Them? by tck2000(m): 11:20am On Jan 18, 2020
nwanna89:
US, Russia, China, France, UK are the countries "allowed" to possess nuclear weapons. I am just wondering why they are allowed to own these weapons, and sanction countries who decide to develop theirs. The US cites reasons such as countries misusing these weapons. Apparently, the United States was the first country to use this weapon against civilians (1945 Japan). In my opinion, if everyone is striving for world peace, then nuclear weapons should not exist. Your thoughts?

Many of Nigerian youths are too lazy. What their fathers got in 10years, many want to get it i one day. It is a pity that this has greatly tarnish the image of our great country. There are so many legit biz they can do, but many will not.

As a matter of fact yahoo yahoo is too bad, and it will be good if we will advice some of our friends into it to spot and do something legitimate.

Invite them to Naira land, that will also help.

Business / Re: Menace of Yahoo Yahoo Biz (internet Fraud) Let's Rub Minds by tck2000(m): 11:03am On Jan 18, 2020
hedgesfun:

Fellow Nairalanders,
Well the simple truth is just that evil strive when good people fail to act and that is simply the situation of things happening in this country on this issue on Yahoo Yahoo stuff. From my experience in online issues in Nigeria I discovered that the main problem with us is Orientation as most people in this country are not that exposed to the good side of the internet from inception I mean when they are just coming into contact with Internet and the only thing they do come in contact with is the bad side of it that is the reason so many are into the evil business not unknowing and since we all worship money in the country, they don't look back once they are into it.
I could remember when i first came into contact with internet stuff i always wanted to do business but I found out that what was on was then the issue of credit card called (apa) if anyone knows what am talking about then Nigeria do not have this bad image much then and the oyinbos will be ready to ship anything to anywhere then once they have your credit card details even before getting their money. I know that the first laptop I got then I bought with a credit card details given to me by a friend but when i got it that changed my thinking and orientation I just asked myself whose money i use in buying this thing definitely not mine and that simply means I had stolen someone's money thus I had to ship it back down to the US then because I hate stealing and taking advantage of others that was in 2001
Yes you read it right I shipped it back to the company I bought it from that was www.tigerdirect.com and I got a pat on the back for it in fact they decided to send me the money with which i shipped it with and since then I never do such thing.
However I discovered that most of us that claim to be into online marketing of different categories are also into the business of yahoo yahoo cos what do we call yahoo yahoo is it not lying to someone and ripping them off their had earned money?
Most people will come online advertise so many things that they themselves had not use or tested before and sell it to people and they will claim they are into online business they are all yahoo yahoo too they should change.
The little piece of advice I can give to all people is that they should be ready to work hard to make money and not rely on duping innocent people of their money
Anyone wanting to make genuine money online can contact me as those that knows me can say I am always ready to mentor you to make it in online business.
I did not say I had arrived myself but I know I can still guide you if you are newbie or someone that is ready to learn as i am always learning myself.
GOD BLESS NIGERIA
Business / Re: Money Ritual Theory. Is The Money Involved Printed By CBN? by tck2000(m): 10:57am On Jan 18, 2020
alexistaiwo:
so many loopholes in this theory.

1. is the money printed by CBN?

2. if the money is printed by CBN, how did the so called demons get the money without it being reported missing?

3. if the money isn't printed by CBN, how did the demons printed the money?

4. is the serial number on the money valid when check on the CBN database.

Let us face the truth, if you are destined to be rich, you will succeed in life. No such thing as money ritual. Hustle hard and God will crown your hard work

Politics / Re: What Is Your Opinion On Capitalism? by tck2000(m): 10:52am On Jan 18, 2020
EzeUche0:
Frankly, I feel that capitalism is the best economic system we have currently. No economic system has yet been discovered that is more effective in creating wealth as the free market system. After all, only capitalism has helped the world's downtrodden rise out of the of poverty and obscurity. Just look at the hundreds of millions who have risen out of poverty in the last few decades in India, Brazil and China by adopting free-market principles.

Capitalism requires cutthroat competition; therefore, the system awards winners and discards losers. Companies within this system are required to maximize profits and to grow. It is a dog eat dog world, and capitalism leads to INNOVATION.
