achorladey:The guy wants to sell nonsense to me but I am not buying |
Stephen2324:Stop advising people |
MaxInDHouse:You said you are an intelligence officer and I don't have to believe you and even if you are, you have proved that you are not good at your job. No wonder Nigerian security officers keep arresting and harassing innocent people. It's because they employed people like you. Have you ever read the Constitution? You can download it for free online and it's not a very big book, even you can read it. |
MaxInDHouse:I already said, let's move on for argument's sake. Now show how this proves 2 Kingdoms of God. |
MaxInDHouse:Oga, jut read the constitution and state law, you can read and you don't need a police officer to tell your right from left. Now let's continue your education. Have you heard of the term Whistleblowers? How many Whistleblowers have gone to jail for leaking others' secrets in the US? Have you heard about the Whistleblowers Protection Act? But according to JW, all Whistleblowers have jeopardized their salvation. You need to read or travel to gain a real education and stop relying on the lies your semi-illiterate pastor tells you. |
MaxInDHouse:Oga you are not a fool and you know the difference between a busybody and a gossip. If you don't, use your dictionary and stop disgracing yourself. The people that exposed Bill Clinton's sex scandal are not in jail but according to JW, they are criminals |
MaxInDHouse:Yes you will keep your false knowledge of 2 Kingdoms of God. The Jewish kingdom and the gentile Kingdom. You will keep calling Jesus Christ a liar even when he says that you can't enter the kingdom of God without being born again. Your knowledge is clearly not of God. |
MaxInDHouse:Again a busybody is not the same thing as a gossip. A busybody gets involved in others affair and not necessarily exposes others privacy, that is the job of a gossip. Please make friends with your dictionary, you will learn a lot. Oga you are not talking to one of your ignorant followers. I have defined the meaning of a busybody. Please can you mention one person that has been sent to prison for being a busybody? Just one please. |
MaxInDHouse:Wait you are trying to force me to agree with you lool. When even the verse you quoted from Peter proves you are wrong. And you claim I argue blindly because you can't sell your falsehoods to me? You don't even know the meaning of a busybody. See I understand this topic makes you uncomfortable so you are free not to answer any of my questions. But trying to use the excuse that my arguments are blind will not fly. Just agree that you are wrong or you don't have the answers and move on |
MaxInDHouse:After death, there is judgement but that does not show that there is no forgiveness after death. These are 2 different things. Judgement is not the opposite of forgiveness and in many cases, they go together. The same bible talks about the spirits of just men made perfect. Did they become perfect in this world or in the 🌎, after? How did they become perfect if their imperfections are not forgiven? Finally, we are told that blasphemy against the Holy Ghost can't be forgiven in this world nor in the world to come, doesn't that mean that some sins could be forgiven in the world to come? |
cornelboy:Now to serious matters, let's both assume that the robber at the cross was not born again, please explain how this proves that there are 2 kingdoms of God. And where is paradise? |
MaxInDHouse:Like I said before, for the sake of understanding each other, let's assume the robber was not born again now explain how this proves there are 2 Kingdoms of God. |
MaxInDHouse:Since you want me to teach you everything here are the definitions of a spy and a busybody. It's up to you to decide which is a crime. A spy work for a government or other organization by secretly obtaining information about enemies or competitors. he agreed to spy for the West observe (someone) furtively. the couple were spied on by reporters collect information about something to use in deciding how to act. he would go and spy out the land noun a person employed by a government or other organization to secretly obtain information on an enemy or competitor. a person who keeps watch on others secretly. A Busybody a person who is too interested in things that do not involve them: busybody, do-gooder, meddler, or marplot is someone who meddles in the affairs of others. A busybody caricatured by Isaac Taylor in the 19th century to illustrate the character sketch by Theophrastus An early study of the type was made by the ancient Greek philosopher Theophrastus in his typology, Characters, "In the proffered services of the busybody there is much of the affectation of kind-heartedness, and little efficient aid. |
MaxInDHouse:I just taught the meaning of a busybody but you are still going off point. Please use your dictionary. A busybody and a spy are not the same thing. You are too intelligent for me to be teaching you these things |
MaxInDHouse:Definition of a Busybody A busybody is a nosy, meddling person, who's very interested in what other people say and do. If you're a busybody, you can't help offering advice to friends, whether they want it or not. Busybodies are known for trying to help with situations in which they're not necessarily welcome or needed. Oga it's not a crime to be a busybody anywhere in the world. Or are the JWs creating new crimes? Again, the press interferes with people's privacy every day, and it is not a crime. You are talking to well-traveled and very well-read people here. We are not some of your semi-illiterate followers. No country not even North Korea has criminalized being a busybody. |
MaxInDHouse:Let none of you suffer as a MURDERER or a THIEF or a WRONGDOER or a BUSYBODY in other people’s matters. 1Peter 4:15 Oga being a busy body is not a crime. Thats one of the sins Peter mentioned in the verse you quoted. He also talked about a wrongdoer which again is not necessary a crime. So where did you get the idea that Peter was talking about crimes and not sins? Also, you said that only blasphemy against the Holy Spirit can jeopardize one's salvation but I gave you verses to teach you that just about any sin can jeopardize one's salvation. |
cornelboy:Good, I am glad I could make you laugh. |
cornelboy:This too is the JW opinion, right? |
achorladey:MaxInDHouse is clearly not sure of his stands. If I were him, I would relax, call my church members brainstorm and hopefully come up with a better line of argument. |
cornelboy:Mr Man, I just asked you the same question you asked me but it seems you are uncomfortable. I would have asked you to call MaxInDHouse but he is not finding it funny trying to answer the question either. Anyway, you can ask your audience, Let's hope one of them has an answer for you bro. |
IjebuWarrior:We don't verify the stats of an idiot. And when did owning a big church become an achievement? Just keep disgracing yourself with nonsense stats. Now here are my own stats, Oyo state has more out-of-school kids than Anambra, Imo, Enugu, and Abia added together. So keep having big churches but it's better to educate your kids. Again, Oyo state has more poor people than Anambra and Imo added together. Again does it make sense to have some of the biggest and richest churches in the world yet this much poverty? It's clear that men like you are very poor because you don't get your priorities right. You rather have a rich church than money in your pocket to feed your hungry kids. You also have bigger churches than the UK, Germany, Japan, and the list goes on. When the bible said, "By their fruits, ye shall know them", it was not talking about having the biggest churches. Fool |
MaxInDHouse:You clearly don't read your bible. Now let me teach you. Even the sin of anger is enough to send you to hell Matthew 5:22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘You good-for-nothing,’ shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell. also read But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. It does have to be speaking against what the Holy Spirit . Every other unrepented sin will jeopardize your salvation. Do you guys know the bible at all. I think we are spending so much time on this topic so let's assume that the thief was not born again, now make your point. How does this prove that there are 2 kingdoms of God? Jesus told him, "Today you will be with me in Paradise." Now lets see the point you are trying to make. |
MaxInDHouse:so back to my original questions, which bible verse talks about sins born again cannot commit, and which verse talks about the sins they can commit? |
Hebrew 12.23 Talks about the spirits of just men made perfect. How are they made perfect if their sins are not forgiven. Forgiveness can come in this world and in the world to come. |
MaxInDHouse:Let me summarize the JW point of view here. Peter knew that the born again cannot commit the stated crimes yet he took his time to warn them to prevent them from commiting sins that he knew the can never commit. ![]() If I am a JW, me too would be ashamed of this doctrine so I perfectly understand. Would they have committed the sins if he had not warned them? The more I debate with JW, the more they prove my point. |
cornelboy:Honestly I don't know because it was not mentioned in the bible but I am assuming that you know. Can you tell me please? |
cornelboy:Boss I don't know, was he? |
MaxInDHouse:Yes sin would jeopardize anyone's anointing but the question remains, would peter warn them 8f he knew it was impossible for them to commit such sins? You seem to know the truth but you just can't take it and I understand why |
MaxInDHouse:Calm down. The point is, if it is impossible for a born again to commit these crimes, Peter would have had no reason to preach against them. The only reason he preached against these crimes was because he knew that some of his people could commit these crimes. So that proves my point. Even born again Christians can fall for such crimes hence the need for Peter to preach against it. An example here, Would you preach against pornography to a school of blind/deaf men? Only a fool would do that because they are not capable of such even if they tried. Peter preached against the listed crimes because the born agains were capable of commiting everyone of them. The verse you quoted is a prove that born again Christians can steal. Or do you want to take back that verse? ![]() |
MaxInDHouse:2 things here, 1. I did not ask you to look for a passage where peter warned against a few sins. Please pay attention. I asked you to look for any passage that lists the sins born agains can't commit 2. The fact 5hst Peter was writing these things to the church and warning them again these sin is enough evidence to show that members of 5he early church were not beyond these sins. If they were, Peter would have no reason to warn them. This is evidence that even born again Christians could fall for the listed sins above. You just made my point. Also can a born again commit fornication because Paul also warned the church against it? |
MaxInDHouse:So you seem a bit confused here. The bible condemns all sin. Peter never said those are sins born agains can not commit Please were is it written by peter that these commandments are only for born agains? Start talking abeg |
