MaxInDHouse: The Kingdom of God mentioned to a member of the Jewish high court like Nicodemus totally differs from the kingdom of God mentioned to gentiles or common Jews.
It's like telling a prominent politician in Nigeria: "You will be part of Nigerians" Do you think he will assume you're talking about just being a subject citizen in Nigeria? Of course not he will be anticipating being part of those in authority (Abuja) That's what Nicodemus had in mind and Jesus made him to understand that it's not by being just a Jew or member of the Jewish High Court as most Jews presumed
When Jesus mention God's Kingdom for others who aren't prominent politicians among the Jews he meant members of the corulers with Christ that's why he told a prominent politician to sell everything he has before he can enter God's kingdom {Luke 18:18-23} Jesus never said this to any other person because to gain citizenship in God's kingdom we have to acknowledge the role of those who will rule with Christ, this ones he referred to as his brothers! Matthew 25:31-46
Jesus promised to take his corulers to heaven {John 14:1-3} where angels live so just as the inhabitants of Abuja are part of those under the Nigerian government angels in heaven are also members of God's family and just as the taken of Nigeria's government house was taken to Abuja the same way God's kingdom government house was taken away from Jerusalem to heaven but that doesn't mean all Nigerians must go to Abuja neither does it mean that inhabitants of Abuja must leave the place for the corulers with our president.
So God's Kingdom has two destinations:
Heavenly government house where Christ and his corulers will stay.
Paradise Earth where billions of obedient mankind will stay enjoying the benefits of God's kingdom. Jesus Christ never said he has 2 different kingdoms. Clearly your organization is not fit for the kingdom. I understand you wish that there are 2 different kingdoms of God but no there is Just one kingdom. But if you have any verse teaching that we have 2 kingdoms of God, I will believe you. Over to you sir Don't get me wrong, I totally enjoyed the example you gave with Nigeria but it was totally irrelevant. If you can't produce a verse that teaches about 2 different kingdoms of God, then you are again giving you opinion and depending on guesswork. |

So that's why dancing is allowed. However, moderation is required. About tithing, it's a thing of conviction. It's part of the law at various time in old testament to pay it. Logically, it's right. However, if you wan open debate on tithing, enter the fp. There's one topic there that I posted on its first page about tithing. But pls be very truthful in ya response cos I m one of those pastors that doesn't entertain heresy! I fit slap sense into ya head! Mi o Raye shît! MaxInDHouse: You're misconstruing the whole thing but then you've made up your mind so wait for those who knows God and Jesus.
However God's kingdom is the goal of his people what you're demanding belongs only to God even Jesus can't grant it to anyone apart from the apostles whom God has said will form the 12 foundation stones of the new Jerusalem {Revelations 21:14} they are the ones to start the 144,000 members of corulers with Christ {Revelations 14:1} they are not just Israelites as most of you have been taught the original twelve tribes of Israel {Exodus 1:1-4 compare to Revelations 7:5-8} they are called spiritual Israel or new Jerusalem they supposed to rule with Christ in Jerusalem but since the city has been profaned with the killing of God's prophets {Matthew 23:37-38} and finally they disowned their God's anointed King who is the Messiah {Matthew 27:24-25 compare to John 19:12-18} that's what Jesus foresaw before promising his corulers that it will no longer be only Israelites that will join in ruling with him {Luke 13:29} so the gentiles who are supposed subjects in God's kingdom will become part of the ruling class or first class while many Jews will be under their rule {Luke 13:30; Matthew 19:30; Mark 10:31} Jesus promised this ruling class that they will be taken to heaven because that is where their government house will be! John 14:1-3
So if we tell you that it's not all righteous people that are going to heaven that's the truth God never purposed for humans to live in heaven it's the rulership of God's kingdom that was taken away from Jerusalem that made that possible and it's only Christ's corulers that are going there among these ones even Jesus has no say about who will be part of them it only belongs to God to select them! Matthew 20:20-23
That's what you're misconstruing saying God's organization won't lead members to God's kingdom, Paradise is going to be on planet earth and that's where subjects of God's kingdom will be while Christ's corulers will be in the spiritual realm ruling with him in heaven! Sir you are the one who is failing to understand the word of God. If you notice, I did not mention going to heaven. I used the term, ' the kingdom of God' Now the kingdom of God could be in heaven or even on earth. In the Lord's prayer, it states, 'thy kingdom come'. The kingdom of God is simply a place where God has Sovereign. Now to be part of God's kingdom, what is the qualification? Jesus Christ answered this question. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.So it doesn't matter if the kingdom is on earth or in heaven, no one from your organization would be there. Now if you are not part of God's kingdom, where would you be but outter darkness. I hope you understand it now. |

God's will is that we all find eternal life that's why he sent His Son. So it makes no sense to take advice from an organization that can't get me to my destination. For me, it's the kingdom of God or nothing. There are 2 options, the kingdom of God or the kingdom of darkness. There is no middle ground. Ọmọ Jesus never said anything of that nature in fact he made us understand that people will say his disciples are teaching heresy {Matthew 1024-25} so it's not just by assumption that you can understand this but by humbly watching out for the group that is fulfilling what he said no matter what you think about them as long as you can't find a better performing group then stop disturbing your brain that is what the religious people among the Jews in the first century failed to notice, they were looking for fault against Jesus instead of asking "do we have any better teacher?" {John 6:68} they were looking for fault against the one and only teacher who is fulfilling what the prophesies said about the messiah. So if you can find a better performing group that's fulfilling what Jesus said about his friends no wahala but if you can't then stop deceiving yourself! One more thing sir, if the kingdom of God is my goal, it only makes sense that I stay away from an organization that openly declares that they have no intention of making the kingdom of God. MaxInDHouse: The highlighted is a big fat lie!
If it's just about reading the Bible Jesus won't send out his friends to go and TEACH people how to become his friend {Matthew 10:11-13} note that after instructing them he added that anyone who refused to learn from them is doomed {Matthew 10:14-15} this was the order he gave his friends whom he sent to preach and teach among the Jews {Matthew 10:6} because they are the closest to salvation having the scriptures with them! John 4:22
So if the Jews needs to be taught how to know God and Jesus THOROUGHLY do you think anyone could just pick up the Bible and know these two persons easily?
Well Jesus didn't leave us in spiritual darkness he made it clear to us that it's easy to IDENTIFY his real friends who are to teach us:
They will have LOVE among themselves {John 13:34-35} they will be active globally in the work he commissioned for them {Act 1:8} they will be peaceful everywhere you find them {Matthew 10:16} and they will be spoken of badly by all other religionists! Matthew 10:24-25
Now your salvation is in your hands! So the new testament basically contains the words of those he sent out to preach. When you read the new testament, you read their very words right? And yes, you are right we can identify those following Jesus Christ. 1. They do not teach manmade doctrine 2. They do not depend on guesswork in understanding and explaining the word of God. 3. They show love to all including the prodigal son. 4. They do not add new commandments that are not from God. 5. They can lead you to the kingdom of God. Please don't follow any group who's members know that they would never see the kingdom of God because they are not born again. I believe we agree a lot on this one. |

God and Jesus.
Where they live, what they like, what they detests, who are their friends, how they often react to matters, what type of stranger they would likely make their friend.
Surely your salvation will be easier than anything else.
That's what Jesus meant by that statement at John 17:3 Ok, if that's the case then everyone that reads the bible knows these answers. But do you really think that salvation is just being able to answer the questions you asked? That anyone who provides answers to your questions above would gain salvation? |

Righthussle: Let me tell you what will happen when you death. After you die, you will be buried and your body will decompose but when angel Gabriel will blow the golden trumpet you'll magically resurrect like a zombie and go for judgement. Your god will hold a 100 billion leaves book where names of people are written according to their country in alphabetical order. And you will be judged according to your deeds while alive. A very large LG television will be placed in front of you to see all your sinful actions. Don't ask how the LG will be powered, the sun will power it. And your god after watching all your sinful acts of this world will ask you in English language, Why did you commit all these sins? And he will ask for your tithe and offering records submitted to him by your daddy GOs to check how much you have given to the kingdom. Then your god will forgive all your sins except for the ones you committed against the holy ghost that has fire that Christians use to fire their enemies.
Then in the world to come that your god will create, there will be another Adam and Eve that will eat the forbidden fruit that your god will put in the garden again for there to be sin in that new world. He will wait patiently for them to eat the forbidden fruit so that he will curse the women of that world of labour pain during childbirth. And then he will send his son to die again for the sins of that world but his death will not cover for the sins committed against the holy spirit.
And when people..... to be continued I respect your opinion sir |

1TrippleCee: Revelation 21:27: “But nothing unclean shall enter it…” The New Jerusalem – Heaven. Scriptural Principle #2 – nothing unclean, nothing with the stain of sin, will enter Heaven.
Matthew 5:48: “You, therefore, must be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.” That’s because of Principle #2 – nothing unclean will get into Heaven.
Hebrews 12:22-23: “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem… and to a judge who is God of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect…”
The spirits of just men, made perfect. Scriptural Principle #3 – there is a way, a process, through which the spirits of the “just” are “made perfect.”
1 Corinthians 3:13-15: “…each man’s work will become manifest; for the Day [judgment day] will disclose it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. If the work which any man has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.”
Where is this place that a man, after he dies, suffers loss, as through fire, but is still saved. Hell? No, once you’re in Hell, you don’t get out. Heaven? No, you don’t suffer loss in Heaven.
Matthew 12:32: “And whoever says a word against the Son of man will be forgiven; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.” Sir, none of the verses you qouted say that forgiveness cannot come in the world to come. For example, you quoted Matthew 5:48: “You, therefore, must be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.” That’s because of Principle #2 – nothing unclean will get into Heaven. We both agree that no unclean thing can dwell with God but if you are forgiven, it means you are no longer unclean. Please can you provide just a single verse that teaches that there is no forgiveness in the world to come? If not, I would take this as a personal opinion. |

In Matthew 12, speaking about blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, Jesus Christ said in verse 32, 'And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.'
Does this mean that sins are also forgiven in the world to come? Does the world to come mean a life after death? Who can receive forgiveness is the world to come? What kind of sins are forgiven in the world to come? |

Christianity Etc › Re: Are Real Christian Higher Than The Angels Of God. by tctrills: 9:02am On Dec 02, 2023 |
drezzyx: Bible Question: There is a scripture that says that God made us a little lower than the angels. There is another scripture that states that when we die, we are equal to the angels. There is another scripture that implies we are higher than the angels because God made us in His image. Are we equal, lower, or higher than the angels? Bible Answer: Scripture reveals that humans are made lower than the angels when the book of Hebrews says that Jesus Christ, who became a man, was made lower than the angels. YOU HAVE MADE HIM FOR A LITTLE WHILE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS; YOU HAVE CROWNED HIM WITH GLORY AND HONOR, AND HAVE APPOINTED HIM OVER THE WORKS OF YOUR HANDS . . . Hebrews 2:7 (NASB) In the first chapter of Hebrews, we are told that Jesus was above the angels since He was and is God. But Hebrews 2:7-9 explains that when Jesus became a man, He was made lower than the angels in the sense that He took on human flesh. He was still God. He was God in human flesh. He was temporarily lower than the angels because He took on human form. Therefore, Hebrews 2:7-9 implies that humans are made lower than the angels. It is important to note that scripture never says that we are equal to the angels. Scripture only reveals that we are lower than the angels while we live here on this earth. Yet, those who go to heaven will some day judge angels. Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life? 1 Corinthians 6:3 (NASB) Some day those who believe in Jesus Christ and follow Him will judge the angels. The saints of the ages will judge the angels. This will occur not while we are made of flesh and bone. It will occur only after we receive our new heavenly bodies. This is a future event that will occur during the millennial kingdom which is the time that Christ will rule and reign as king (Zechariah 14:9-21). In the sense that Christians will judge angels, they will be greater than angels. Conclusion: Those who conclude that Hebrews 1:14 teaches that Christians are superior to angels because the verse teaches that the holy angels minister to Christians have missed two important points. 1) The passage never says Christians are superior to angels and 2) Scripture teaches that those who are greatest are those who serve others (Matthew 20:24-28). That would mean the angels are greater than Christians. Yet, we can conclude that Christians will have a higher rank than angels in the millennial kingdom because they will judge angels (1 Corinthians 6:3). But having a higher rank does not mean that Christians will be superior in capability. The reader is encouraged to visit “Will Christians be greater than angels in the future Who are Christians and who are angels? Christians believe and follow Christ. Angels believe and follow Christ? What's the reward for believing in Christ? Those who believe in him become co-heirs with Christ. They inherit the Godly nature. They become like God. Does this apply to angels too? Yes. We are all fellow servants who have the testimony of Jesus Christ. |
