cornelboy:I know that. We have no argument about gog and Magog, Armageddon. But I don't understand why you are bringing this up. What has this got to do with our present discussion? |
cornelboy:It does not point to the fact that Jesus is not God. He was only pointing us to his father who is also God like him. I never said the father isn't God nor did this scripture say Jesus Christ isn't God. But the verse I gave you clearly points that he is God. |
cornelboy:ok, Jesus and his Father would rule the guys on earth for some time then they would later go back to rule the 144000 in heaven? My brother please Like you said if I don't understand, I should ask for your help. Please help me. Point me to any scripture that explains this migratory pattern. |
cornelboy:I honestly don't get the point you are trying to make here. Please explain better. |
cornelboy:]Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw What is the word of God? Everything Jesus said in the bible is the word of God. The teachings of the Apostles and prophets are the word of God. When the scriptures talk about the word of God, It's not about God speaking. It's when one speaks under the inspiration of the spirit. |
cornelboy:Just a thought, If God is going to reign on earth, It completely destroys your old argument that 144,000 would live with God in heaven don't you think so. Unless the 144000 dudes would be there without the presence of God. This means your 144,000 are not really special as you think. Those on earth would be the ones to enjoy the presence of God and Jesus Christ. |
cornelboy:Yes Godhood is a state. I gave you an example of The Apostle declaring Jesus Christ as his God. John 20:28-29 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. This alone should clear all your doubts. |
cornelboy:1 Corinthians 15:24-28 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. This never said God the father is coming to dwell on the earth. Revelation 21:1-5 21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. The God here is Jesus Christ. He is the entire subject of the book of revelations. |
cornelboy:I never suggested a bible for you. Calm down I am about to read the verses |
achorladey:I know, but unless he is ready to be respectful and a good boy, I would continue to cut him off. I try not to read most of what he writes |
cornelboy:My brother, you are not even capable of writing a single verse of scripture. I not sure you are qualified to recommend a version of the Bible to me. It's not like you even understand Hebrew or Greek |
cornelboy:The very same source of all revelations. God. Now who is God? God isn't someone's name. It's a state. But the question i's in who's voice was it revealed. In the book of revelations, Jesus Christ spoke in first person. Let me give you an example with chapter 1 5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. 8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. If you read verse 8 alone, you would be confused but when you read all the verses together, there in is understanding. |
achorladey:For Mr MaxInDHouse.. I remain silent as that is the best answer for a fool. He is completely Ill mannered and abusive. He finds it hard to accept that others can have opposite opinions and ideas without being enemies. It would be hard for me to relate with such unintelligence. |
cornelboy:You have scripture pointing to that? Let's have it. Which scripture points to the fact that both would reign on earth? |

First I never said Jesus Christ (Jehovah) and his father are the same person. The Bible did not say that. I only pointed out that Jesus Christ is that same Jehovah, I AM of the old testament. The same the led Israel across the red Sea. The same that spoke to the prophets. Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.” (John 5:39.) The entire old testament testifies about Jesus Christ just like the new testament |

I see what you are trying to do, you are trying to decide who said what based on your doctrine and not based on context. Initially you felt the book of revelation was God speaking now you found a funny counter argument that destroys your first argument. Let me ask you a question who is coming to reign on earth Jesus Christ, his Father or both? If you know who is coming then you know who revelation 1.8 is referring to. Also, I brought up other verses that showed Jesus Christ is Jehovah even outside revelations. I would go into phase 2 of the discussion, that is telling you who the Father of Jesus Christ is after we are done with understanding who Jesus Christ is |
cornelboy:My friend what is the meaning of this nah. I never told you that Jesus is the father of Jesus. All I told you came from the Bible not my opinion. Initially, you felt it was the father of Jesus Christ speaking in the book of revelations until I introduced you to chapter 3. I would continue to open your eyes using the scriptures not my words. I hope you take note of the verses I lead you to. I would present more to you so long you remain calm and not begin to fight and insult me like your poor mannered friend |
The second coming of Jehovah Zechariah 14. 1-5 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. 4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. |

In Revelation 3:5 who was speaking? In Revelation 3:12 who was speaking? In Revelation 3:21 who was speaking? In Revelation 21:7 who was speaking? In Revelation 2:26 who was speaking? In Revelation, 2:11who was speaking? In Revelation 2:7 who was speaking? In the entire book of revelations who was speaking to us my guy |
cornelboy:Jehovah tells us that he has a father. EXODUS 6:3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob by the name of God Almighty, but by My name Jehovah was I not known to them. |
cornelboy:Finally, you are asking the right Questions. Who is the father of Jehovah? |

First, the father and son are 2 distinct beings no doubt. by from reading chapter 3 of revelations, you learned that it was Jesus Christ speaking and not his Father. Again while you make some good points, I am persuaded to believe the Apostle Thomas over you. He recognized Jesus Christ as his Lord and God. John 20:28 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. From reading revelations 3 you now understand that the voice in revelation represented Jesus Christ now read Revelations 1.8 with Jesus Christ in mind and see how the book of Revelations makes sense. 8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. |
Jesus Christ the very same Jehovah of the old testament Jesus is the light. In the Gospel of John there are a variety of words used to describe Jesus and His work. He is the Savior of the world (see John 4:42), as well as the Word (see John 1:1, 14). Jesus says that He is the light (see John 8:12), the truth (see John 14:6), and the life (see John 11:25). When we turn to the Old Testament, we find a number of passages that identify Jehovah with light. For example, Psalm 89:15 states: “Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.” Other passages that have a similar content are Psalm 104:2, Isaiah 2:5, and Micah 7:8. It is interesting to see, however, that light, when used with reference to Jehovah, is often coupled with another word, a word that is used to describe Jesus in the Gospel of John. Consider the following: “The Lord [Jehovah] is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1; emphasis added). “For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light” (36:9; emphasis added). |
Jehovah is the king of Isreal 1 Samuel 8:7, Jehovah said: “Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.” Isreal rejected him as their king. John 1:49 49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel. |
Who is the Good shepherd? It was Jehovah in the old testament and the very same Jesus Christ in the new testament. Ezekiel 34 12 As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day. 13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country. 14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel. 15 I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord God. 16 I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment. Compare with John 10 11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. 13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. |
For my dear friends who are not yet sure that Jesus Christ is Jehovah, let the testimony of Thomas convince you. John 20.28 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. The Apostle recognized Jesus to be his Lord and his God. To all true Christians, Jesus Christ is our Lord and God. |
Who was speaking in the book of Revelations? It was Jehovah Jesus Christmas Revelations 22. 7 7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book Revelations 22.12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Jesus is coming soon to Judge all men and reward us according to our works |
cornelboy:Read revelations chapter 3 and you would know who was speaking. It would clear your doubts |
cornelboy:Every revelation is from God. But it was Jesus Christ those verse's were about. Let me ask you, do you believe God is coming to dwell on earth among men? Revelation 3.21 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne It's Jesus on the throne and he was the voice of revelation not his father |
cornelboy:My brother, you are wrong. You should really read those verses. Jesus is Jehovah the great I Am. He declared it himself not me |
NNTR:The bible says 31 whatever comes out of the door of my house to meet me when I return in triumph(A) from the Ammonites will be the Lord’s, and I will sacrifice it as a burnt offering. I can imagine the time and effort it took you to come up with your own version of events. If you have problems understanding what the passage said, you don't need to go through such stress to create your personal narrative. You could have said you don't understand. Simple. Haba. I too know |
NNTR:Oga, you are confussed. You just replaced the scripture with your personal movie script. I commend you though, you have a very creative mind |
