Nigeria suffered financially during the first intervention in Liberia in 1990. It was always in search of financial
support from other ECOWAS members for the mission. Nigeria established an “endowment fund” for the
operation with an initial amount of 50 million dollars being proposed. This fund received no contributions.
Generally, assistance from other sources was slow in coming. Eventually ECOWAS member states that
contributed troops threatened to withdraw from the force for lack of funding. This situation caused Nigeria to
single-handedly provide substantial financial support for further ECOMOG operations.

argue like a gentleman.i clearly post we bleed for west african. the reason you were supposed to intervene was neighbours it was argue couldn't interfere in neighboring conflicts .which was later revoked ,why was the UN involved in both sierra leone and liberia .if you were doing a good job!? if seems you dont read,watch current event going on in africa.all those countries you named are either in somalia,CAR and DRC ,While in mali only the french,Germans,dutch are the one fighting and dying for mali.are trying to tell us Uganda aren't complaining about fund,stop being ignorant .(let me educate you)you were supposed to deploy your troops pre 2007

china makes knock offs in almost everything from foodstuffs to aerospace nobody can deny that , ur falling prey to Stockholm syndrome .

the issue here is about reliability which is directly related to quality and which again is directly related to costs.

if u pay the chinese more money they will give u more reliable products but then again why not pay the same money to buy from more established companies worldwide.

paying less money will give u cheap unreliable products

everything ends and starts with the about of money ur paying , it determines the quality and reliability.

this is not a final product , the end product will look different with other extra refinements coming in due to MTCR membership.

but given indian bureaucratic stupidity , and public sector organizations laziness , and the armed forces love for imported ass/pu**y etc etc . including the general all round fuckery by politicians not providing funding etc this UAV might/will be delivered in the next century to fight the mosquitoes (the one that bites us)

So according to this article by Punch Nigeria, NAF is still getting those Super Tucanos but from brazil this time around, the chief of air staff is even quoted saying it.

"Abubakar said that the NAF was expecting four Mi-35m attack helicopters from Russia, three Super Tucano from the Brazilian Air Force and three JF-17 Thunder from Pakistan.

The CAS made the comment while speaking at the NAF’s operations seminar with the theme, ‘Developing Effective Air Power Responses to National Security Challenges in Nigeria’ in Abuja on Wednesday."
