Are you fvcking serious?? do you not see the quotation marks....or do you simply not know how they work??

As I said before....not once did frum say its only used for cargo.....all he did was quote someone else who said it was ............hence the quotation marks!!
He collegue said " The Russians who made this no longer transport people in it - only cargo - so no, I'm staying right here. " while he personally mentioned the trash below.

Man, you don't understand the joke here. Everyone here knows Mi-17s are rusty helos since one particular person here said so and as he's also the spokesman for the Russian MOD, he also claimed the Russian stopped using it to transport troops. grin

What's that Rusty Mi-17 doing there? I hope it's been used only to transport goods and not troops.

It's worrisome seeing all these undedicated Russian helos doing great wonders.

When you finally realized he dynamics from Tawazun Dynamics is from the combination of Denel dynamics and Tawazun holdings due to their joint venture.

Fvck my life grin grin grin grin grin!! Im talking ownership bro!! If a company owns 51% of a company through investing in an established company our owns 51% of a joint venture it still owns both those companies!!

FYI a joint venture is still an investment you fvcking ret@rd!!
Like I said your fees is still a waste.

If you invest in my company, you don't change my company's name because you own 50% Your investment is for equity or what soever.

Investment for equity or proprietary. While a joint founded venture to achieve same goal. Denel needs money and needs buyer for her products while Tawazun can provide the customers bit doesn't own have the technology.

Denel then decides on a joint venture which brought about Tawazun Dynamics with Tawazun owning 51% of the shares. The newly founded company owns the product Al-tariq.

Bro, this is really stressful explaining all this but it's a normal thing. Teaching kids always have to be stressful.

I'm done with you today.

jln115:
Irrelevant ret@rd!! The fact that they are not majority owned by Nigeria/Nigerian investors means that these companies are not Nigerian neither are their products...........BY YOUR DEFINITION!!

You don't see Indians claiming that Jaguar is now a Indian product simply because TATA is the majority stakeholder!
Investment is. Different from a joint venture.

Bro, your school fees is wasted that's if you have any educational qualification at all.

If you can't differentiate between investment and a joint venture.
You also said Al tariq is 100% South African and still asked who said so. You're either suffering from a memory loss which has always been proven by you.

Foreign AffairsRe: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by tdayof(m): 3:40pm On Sep 18, 2017
jln115:
Who said the product is owned by a single country?? please quote what was said!!
You retard can you see? Dumb hypocrite.

jln115:
The Al Tariq is actually Denels Umbani and, Tawazun Dynamics is a joint venture by Denel Dynamics and Tawazun.

For all intensive purposes the Al Tariq is 100% a South African product!!
Foreign AffairsRe: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by tdayof(m): 3:28pm On Sep 18, 2017
frumentius:
I'll just leave this here.
Still doesn't change the fact that the name coined Al. Tariq isn't 100% South African again.

We're talking about the fact that someone here claimed a joint venture product is owned by a single country.

Foreign AffairsRe: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by tdayof(m): 3:20pm On Sep 18, 2017
jln115:
Ok by that logic the follow businesses and their products are not Nigerian:

Nigerian Breweries
Flour Mills of Nigeria
ect
ect
Lol grin grin these are companies with IPO. The owners are the share holders. With the Netherland company Heineken having the largest numbers of BOD.

Denel isn't a company with IPO.
Foreign AffairsRe: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by tdayof(m): 3:00pm On Sep 18, 2017
Al Tariq is South African made by Denel and Denel doesn't have it on its list of products.
http://www.denel.co.za/album/Denel-Products/20

Al tariq owned by the UAE company Tawazun Holding clearly visible on her website.

www.tawazundynamics.ae

I don't know how a product of joint venture became a property of a single country.

Foreign AffairsRe: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by tdayof(m): 2:37pm On Sep 18, 2017
jln115:
What does the fact that they have 51% of the company have to do with the product it self?? the Al- Tariq existed before Tawazun Dynamics was even an after thought!!

It was designed by Denel and funded by the SANDF hence its a South African product!!

Lastly I find it strange that someone who said the Gripen can't fly inverted is the one calling me agubugu?
South Africa owns the project but during a joint venture, it umbani changed to Al tariq with Denel dynamics having 49% stake and the UAE company having 51%.

Due to the percentage, the UAE being the largest shareholder of 51% can oppose any decision made my Denel dynamics. In the course of the joint venture, Denel dynamics can never claim it 100% owns Al tariq but can claim to own umbani.

Google is your friend. Your economics sucks.

Now ask me why people purchased JF17 directly from Pakistan.

PAC owns the largest share will two other Chinese companies have to share the remaining percentage.

Umbani is a South African product but Al tariq is not South African.

If umbani is South African then JF17 is Chinese.

Foreign AffairsRe: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by tdayof(m): 1:31pm On Sep 18, 2017
jakeporeshenko:
Why didn’t Egypt approach SA instead huh
Percentage, 51% for UAE and 49% for Denel.

Legally anywhere on earth, Mars, Pluto etc. the boss here now is the UAE company.

The power of equity.
Foreign AffairsRe: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by tdayof(m):
MikeCZA:
Denel holds 49% of the company.
And the remaining 51% by the other? Or more companies. If so, it's so, the product is not 100% Denel again as stated by the SA agugugbu.

umbani is South African but when development name goes at Al-tariq it's now UAE. So far Denel has 49% and the other party has 51% no one cares if the product was developed by a single person in South Africa. The product being Al tariq isn't South African.

Having 49% means the UAE company dictates how much salary Denel workers will be making on that project.

You always like to feel like U know alot about planes but you don't... Those alpha jets in the service currently in NAF service are all in poor condition with no support from the Original Manufacturer again and flying on poorly fabricated parts , the can't hit anything on the ground accurately they can't and the F7 came in without the avionics and support for an smart munition.
Mr man stop typing thrash. How will you see F7 with air to air capabilities can't support smart ammunitions?

Enough of thrash here on nairaland makes me feel alot of Nigerians are just so dumb.

I CAN BET MY LEFT BALL THAT TDAYOF IS PLANNING ON DEVELOPING A MALE UAV...

I hope yours isn't complete before mine cheesy am stuck at using alluminium alloy or carbon fiber composite for the fuselage
Lol. I wasn't going to type this information before. Any way the Demfas Aerosystems project has already moved forward.

Had a simple argument with the technical team that was why I asked the question.

The UAV GCS will be done here locally. TT for that is in development while the engine has a maximum operational altitude of 32,800ft and a 115hp.

We're working on two UAV together, a male and female UAV. The Nigerian airforce will take care of the armament sector of the female UAV which also has a bigger maximum pay load than the male UAV.

The UAV uses a delta like wing span forget about any similar design in your mind. In short, final production will see hundreds million in naira poured into the project.

Proposed range 1100km
Maximum speed 215km
FLIR systems has been picked for the communication while the engine has been decided. The issue now is, we're experimenting two engines the main a turbojet engine and a turbo fan. Our requirement is actually the turbofan but then the turbojet engine soon fits into requirements, modifications will be needed for the exhaust If we have to do that but no loosing, it's going to be another thing to learn from.

The project is on but construction of some facility made it to be paused. I'll share pictures which I can as it progress.
