This post alone is enough to stop the incoming storm.

We starting the weekend felas so we can chill wink
I'm not trying to support anyone but the post says Service Centers. It's likely possible AETSL does the servicing herself or with a sister company whatsoever.

The present NAF administration has seen the exhobitant among being quoted by foreign companies and might have increased indigenous capability.
Com'on, we're talking about airframe here and I don't give a damn if it's a Charlie-130. Nigerian engineers can do it.
Obviously, the engineers are not accredited to do that by Lockheed Martin but it doesn't mean we're not doing.

Notice my choice of word: "as active as before".
SAS is still active but not on same scale as when they were newly set-up.
Apart from the Armored APC used by SAS "MOPOL", i'm not aware of any armoured Hilux in their arsenal.
BTW, is Osun still making use of Armoured Hilux from Proforce?

The reason i'm asking is that, i'm of the opinion that MOST(if not all) of those armoured Hilux-es(1 per LG with the exception of Ife, Osogbo and Ilesa) were recalled/replaced with those Big APC (that can compete with Bigfoot MRAP for height grin), and all the hilux-es being driven(apart from the above mentioned ones) are not armored.

I haven't seen them in service since then, if not that you claimed you do now.

Operation Burst is still in existence nah. Was in IB couple of months ago, saw 4 of their vehicles in transit at Iwo Road.
I can't say too much about the hilux but from the picture I have, it's armored. It's noticeable from the gun shot force on it.
I don't even know about the APC you're talking about as I haven't been to Osun state for over a year now.

I still remember those days when guys sagging avoid men of OP -BURST. grin

Pentagon officials have begun preparing for possible military strikes inside Syria as President Donald Trump has steadily ramped up rhetoric against Syrian President Bashar Assad in recent days.
So US can attack any country ?

I don't think Operation Burst is as active as before. Same can be said of "Swift Action Squad" in Osun.
SAS is still active. They were deployed during the recent Ife crisis. They got a surprised attack launched on them by some robbers too in which their vehicle really saved them(Armored Hilux) by Proforce.
OP Burst should still exist. The last time I heard of them, seems FG pulled out NA guys so they are left with NSCDC and NPF.

Respect to Skynet Squad too.

Sending i fo real time over a secure line from the Gulam to say a fighter or art is not as easy as you think. But i dont see why it cant. If the gulam as a GPS or some other way of establishing it,s position, a laser rang finder and a means to get berrings it can easily figure out on a map where the target it is looking at is located.

Onse it has that infomastion that where there is a snag. Do the fighters and gunners have the sytems in place to recive the data. I dont think nigeria as such a system in place. I think it being relayed. Though depending on the mission that relay could be near real time.
The bolded is what I'm trying to say. That's an easy way. You can easily do that. I know of a similar program that
does that through radio scanning in which the radio signals can quickly detect a radio transmitter location GPS coordinates. Also uses camera to take the enemy situation and send back to command center through
GPS Satellite navigation and positioning system. Team members locations can be displayed on the screen at a command center.
If this is possible from group of 3 people. Then NAF should be more capable to make Gulma communicate with other aircrafts. The issue now will be NAF capability on Communication and Navigation system. I am pretty sure with help from NASDAR, it will be possible.

Ask whether the Gulma can send cordinates in real-time to the artillery teams on the ground or Nigerian Air Force fighters.
The technology behind is also easy. Gulma should have such capability.

I visited Eagle Square today to witness the untapped potential in Nigerians ranging from mouth gapping Primary School projects to more sophisticated projects such as 3D Printers, cars, tractors, agricultural equipment, aeroponics to mention a few. In fact, I saw a satellite rocket launcher.

Most importantly, I interacted with Gulma Drone pilots and they educated me more about this elusive drone.
In the end, I had to give them thumbs up for a job well done.

Nigerians typically behave themselves when they are in a non-nigerian atmosphere(especially with Europeans and North Americans). the way we interact on quora is so polite and well mannered ..such a far cry from the way they interact on nairaland.
Nigerians on Quora are those with positive mindset.
That's just the difference. Quora also has a very strict rules guiding posts, type rubbish and it's removed.

Car TalkWhat Is The Smartest Street Billboard Ad You Have Ever Seen? by tdayof(op): 7:28am On Apr 03, 2017
What is the smartest street billboard ad you have ever seen, or looked at and liked a lot?

The war between two German car behemoths.

A while ago I came across a post on the web which portrayed a billboard war between BMW and Audi. There have been numerous accusations that these images are faked, and I agree that they more than likely are, but even so I liked the concept a lot and it would be great to see more of this throughout the world.

It started with Audi placing a billboard calling out BMW, showcasing their Audi A4.
https://cdn.wonderfulengineering.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Audi-vs-BMW-Billboard-Ad-war-610x400.jpg
Then, BMW responded with an even bigger billboard placed next to Audi’s, with simply the word ‘Checkmate’.
https://cdn.wonderfulengineering.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Audi-vs-BMW-Billboard-Ad-war-1-610x362.jpeg
After starting the ad war, Audi couldn’t keep quiet, and so they responded with the ‘king’ of their fleet:
https://blog.autopartswarehouse.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/audi-6.jpg
Which led BMW to finish them off:

The bill board war ended there but that wasn’t the end of all

It was not president Buhari, It was Presidents and high ranking officials attending the 60th independence anniversary at the independent square, lot of crowd. Probably that is why it was like that. Point taken, they should have done better. Sometime I wonder how the security personnel are able to maintain security in such atmosphere. Salute for their service.
In as much as I commend their service, it should be noted that such thing could have been avoided. There are a lot of dignitaries there and security should be at its peak. A lot of Presidents, Diplomats etc. I am not saying keep Civilians out of such gathering but the issue is if there was an attack there, getting VIP out of that area won't be easy for the security.

I noticed civilians passing through Presidents convoys. Isn't that too risky? Some even crossed and there was a VIP vehicle that had to stop due to a guy trying to cross to the other side.
