It was just grace..The love to just want to get hold of the Quran was just there for me..Immediately I learnt how to join arabic letters together through the tutor from my Ustaz at Mahdu Talim arabic school,i started trying.
Allah also contributed to it I strongly believe..I rose so fast in class and my eyes was so sharp in identifying letters. I knew I had the grace to read the Quran on my own when I noticed I could easy spot where our Ustaz was whenever he his reading the Quran to us..Even if I get carried away I can easily reconnect with the verse his reading.

I won't say I know all of the hadith..But I was also opportune to own a big Imam Malik hadith collection..It is still here with me aft 13 years. I read through it always at my leisure and I also search for other hadiths.

In all,it was the grace of Allah..Islam is a beautiful feeling I must say. Woe to all extremist using Islam to cause Havoc among the nation's. They shall all be called before their creator to give account of the mischief they create here on earth.
Islam is so simple to accept that you don't need a punch in order to win someone over not to talk of a gun. The evidence are there, the grace is also there..But Allah is all knowing.

No christian on earth here and beyond can put me into a debate and win..i have come across strong christian believers,but they just can't stand my knowledge of their own religion.. My first major encounter was with CRS education lecturer in the university. I studied from the Humanities so I pick CRS as a borrowed course which I can easily pass. The day he knew I was a muslim,he called me after the class and started preaching to me..But I don't know,the more he talked the more I found reasons to glue with Islam. When it was my turn to speak,I asked him a simple question he couldn't answer and ever since then he just sees me and says Allahu Akbar..Heard he later converted to Islam and bears Khalid. I am also a convert..I didn't listen or partake in a debate,but the words of the bible itself made me have a rethink. I did a study on Islam,compared the two,prayed to God to set me right coz I was confused.

To my surprise,i woke up on d first day of 2008 and the urge to go to mosque for the morning prayer was just there,mind you I had just attended the crossover night in my church Assembly of God church at Mafoluku the previous night.

Ever since then have never left out a single solat..Alhamdulilah I learnt the hadith and Quran succesfully just under a year.

The most gracious part is that my family found peace,sustenance and grace to practice Islam through me.. In sha Allah, Ma sha Allah. Allah is the greatest.

Lets talk about the dangers of polygamy which islamic chauvinists fail to consider. In a polygamous home, there's never peace. Even when there seem to be a semblance of peace, it is usually deceitful and short lived. All wives hate themselves and are always in competition. This alone can make them resort to charms and voodoo to outdo the others for their husband's attention. What about the children? They live by the established divide and only show love to their mother's children alone. This divide goes on till death with hatred, wickedness, distrust etc all of which turns them into menace to society. If you ever come across a child raised in polygamous family, ask such a person to tell you whether he or she loves the half-siblings produce by the father. The expression on the person's face before answering will be more than enough answer for you.

If you check closely the life of a man with many wives, you will realize that he is never happy. Struggling to please your numerous wives equally is really a daunting task that can drain your mentality and run you insane. Men are still finding it difficult coping with just one wife, yet you believe a man can live peaceful with more than one. From constant nagging to separating of fights and quarrels, the man's daily life will be a living hell for him. How about caring for the tonnes of children produced? No matter how rich he may be, in terms of affording to send them all to the same good school, there will still be a reason that will make one of the wives feel her own children are not getting as much as the others. You speak of treating the wives equally, how is that possible when a man is designed to care for his first son much more better than the rest? If he is spending a million dollars on university fees on the first child who has attained that level, don't you think it is appropriate for him to spend that same amount on the children produced by the other wives who are yet to attain university status, according to your equality rule?

Polygamy has really destroyed the society and created poverty as well as criminals. Look at all those motor pack touts aka Agbero with names like Kabiru, Mukaila, Ganiyu, Sule, musiliu etc, many of them are all from polygamous background where they got kicked out cos the burden of caring for them was too much for the man who was decieved by allah into believe that polygamy is right. Look at the high rate of illiteracy and poverty in Northern Nigeria with the Almajiri population swelling all due to polygamy promoted by islam.

If at this point you still believe allah is right to have prescribed polygamy especially in this time and age, then i'll advice you to go ahead and marry 4 wives and see the level of pain you will cause for yourself and for that wife of your youth whom you deceived and ridiculed by marry other women. I know of a muslim man who married 4 wives. When this man grew old and was hit by stroke, all the other wives fled leaving behind the fourth wife who stood by him and took good care of him. Unfortunately, the man died afterwards. That was when the other wives returned to fight bloodily for his property. Is that the kind of end allah wants for you?

Abeg go and sleep, coz we read more of domestic violence in monogamous family than in polygamy..I repeat, you hardly find a man beating his wife to death or a woman stabbing his husband to death in a polygamous family. This is because the women are more focused in raising their children and staying married..

As for property sharing formular, having a monogamous family doesn't signal a happy ending to property sharing..it depends on how your family is being brought up..In a family where the children are well trained and made comfortable on their own,they won't find time killing themselves over properties..And that is why the Emir is rooting for an above average living standard polygamous family instead of a poor man controlled family which may likely breed chaos at the end.
