No GEJ did not suffer up to that. What we had then was politically instigated security crises in the north east with bombings in the north but the economy was ok. Today, boko haram is still killing both soldiers and civilians in the NE, Millitancy in the SS, separatist agitation in the East and widespread hunger with the economy in recession! Nigeria has never been in a worse state than this since the end of the civil war & Buhari is to be blamed for it!!

GEJ never did anything special with the economy,he was only lucky oil price was at it best during his tenure. This became evident when the oil price dropped and nigeria started battling with fuel price,short supply in electricity,dollar rate increase and states inability to pay debts. We even had to borrow money to fund the 2015 elections.

Or please clear my doubt,tell me one economic move carried out by GEJ and his team. Buhari is moving towards failure already,but that shouldn't make any sane person want to repackage GEJ for us. Atlist mtn hasn't send us a message that they will be suspending operations for some hours due to gas shortage or airports shutdown.
