So I noticed when many Nigerians talk about life before birth, they often use the word "when I was in heaven", though they may be joking but on a more serious note why do Nigerians believe they were in heaven before birth.

As far as I can tell, we were all unconscious and non existence before birth. We had no memory, pain, experience or anything.

For example, I only heard, read and watched documentaries about WW2, I never went through the horrors of the war because I was non existence.

If this is the case.

Why do people believe they will continue to exist after death if they did not exist b4 birth.

It's actually a simple logic, we go back to the state we were b4 birth which being unconscious and non existence.

My Dad called me this evening to tell me the essence of praying. The thing is that I don't believe praying solves anything Atleast to me. the day I stopped believing and started working more on myself, I found out that things started getting better for me than those who goes to the Church and Mosques.

When I think about a lot of things I have read and what I have experienced I feel like I have always been deceived all my life.

The Pastors and Prophets with their fake miracles or the Boko Haram and their suicide with the reasons of going to heaven to get virgins.

I currently live with them though I plan on moving to my own place by the end of this year or early next year.

I really want to tell them in a polite way so they can accept my way.

My Dad won't accept this, as he believes that it is God or nothing.

u have made the right choice, don't let all the religious fanatics blackmail u into thinking u are wrong.

U can see how they are threatening you, it's because religion grows in fear n poverty. That's why Africans are so religious, it give them a form of hope because they are hopeless.

I watched a video on instagram where apostle Suleiman was saying that nigerian youtubers have made it a point of duty to tell lies about him and other pastors. He said that youtube is paying them for putting up such defamatory videos about him everyday and it's unfair to him.

For me, I support his actions. There is no day that will pass without one foolish youtuber making one stupid video about pastors. It has been going on for years and they have refused to stop. If it's not pastor Chris, it's oyedepo,if not oyedepo, it's Adeboye. It's becoming annoying.
