Glad to be here. Been reading up for few weeks now and it has been enlightening for me as a FTM. I'm exactly 19 weeks today. Had a crazy first trimester with the usual headaches, loss of appetite, food aversions and vomiting every morning after brushing or after breakfast. Second trimester has been calm with few bouts of vomiting but my appetite has greatly improved. Thank God. Loving the new sexy full breasts anyway and my bump is just slightly showing now. I have an EDD of 29th November and will be going for a morphology scan this Saturday. Sex will also be checked. Hubby is really hoping for a boy o...I am indifferent but will like to make him happier anyways. I hope to be here more frequently now and also contribute once in a while.
Abeg, i'm also new in Australia...looking for Nigerian friends here in Melbourne jare.... Thanks Mummies... |

Alright. Our situation: We didnt present anything for reassessment. NOTHING. Just a change in occupation. However every case has its peculiarities so maybe u should share your outcome and profile with us here so we all can see the reasons for the negative outcome and possible recommendations. Reassessment fee was about 650 AUD. We paid about 810 AUD initially for Assessment. Rooneyboy: That is what i'm trying to do, "nominating another occupation entirely, same way you and your boo did.
so my question, when you nominated another occupation did you present another set of documents like transcript and employment history or you used your initial documents for your reassessment and how much did you pay vetassess ? Did you pay for a reassessment or payed for a new occupation entirely
your response will be of great help. |
Travel › Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by teewhysafe(f): 8:25am On Sep 14, 2017 |
Hi. You need to first of all understand why your tasks are not highly relevant to your nominated occupation. Reason for this is stated in your outcome letter. So what you need to do is either re-present your tasks matching it closely with the ANZSCO code or even nominating another occupation entirely. We had to nominate another occupation closely related to the former hence the positive reassessment. We didnt change any task just the nominated occupation. Hope this helps. @Phlunter, PTE scores can only be sent once via Pearson. I tried resending and that was the response i got. The result had already been forwarded to DIBP. Rooneyboy: Hi sis, please what were the steps you took to have a positive reassessment, i was recently given a negative assessment on the grounds that the tasks undertaken are not highly relevant to the ANZSCO tasks for my nominated occupation.
......Obviously i didn't paraphrase the ANZSCO task for them, I heard that is the trick.
Now my question, Can i go back to them for a reassessment and paraphrasing the task that they require, wouldn't that raise eyebrows
@bellong , your inputs will also be appreciated. |

Congratulations. That was fast. Point Test Advise is a lil different from full skills assessment though. Godspeed! ZoeW: Dear Fam,
Let me celebrate the small victories 'cause I know the major ones are not far ahead! Few of you may remember the back and forth about claiming points for qualification even when not assessed by the assessing body. In my case I desperately needed additional 5 points and took a plunge which was not for the faint hearted (lol) and claimed my BSc anyway. I then paid for VETASSESS Point Test Advise and expected to results out in 10-12 weeks like most people here have stated. But it took 1 week from them receiving my transcript and 3 weeks from my application for them to give me my outcome.
My degree? AQF Bachelors Degree! I no fit happy finish!!! |
