This is strange. If this is true, then there is problem for Russia. |
olola4:The money will just go like that o |
"Shortly after 4 o’ clock this morning I spoke to president Zelensky of Ukraine to offer the continued support of the UK because our worst fears have now come true and all our warnings have proved tragically accurate. "President Putin of Russia has unleashed war in our European continent. He has attacked a friendly country without any provocation and without any credible excuse. "Innumerable missiles and bombs have been raining down on an entirely innocent population. A vast invasion is underway by land by sea and by air. "And this is not in the infamous phrase some faraway country of which we know little. We have Ukrainian friends in this country; neighbours, co-workers. Ukraine is a country that for decades has enjoyed freedom and democracy and the right to choose its own destiny. "We – and the world – cannot allow that freedom just to be snuffed out. We cannot and will not just look away. "It is because we have been so alarmed in recent months at the Russian intimidation that the UK became one of the first countries in Europe to send defensive weaponry to help the Ukrainians. "Other allies have now done the same and we will do what more we can in the days ahead. Today in concert with our allies we will agree a massive package of economic sanctions designed in time to hobble the Russian economy "And to that end we must also collectively cease the dependence on Russian oil and gas that for too long has given Putin his grip on western politics. Our mission is clear "Diplomatically, politically, economically – and eventually, militarily – this hideous and barbaric venture of Vladimir Putin must end in failure. And so I say to the people of Russia, whose president has just authorised a tidal wave of violence against a fellow Slavic people "The parents of Russian soldiers who will lose their lives. I cannot believe this is being done in your name or that you really want the pariah status it will bring to the Putin regime "And I say to the Ukrainians in this moment of agony we are with you, we are praying for you and your families, and we are on your side. And if the months ahead are grim, and the flame of freedom burns low I know that it will blaze bright again in Ukraine because for all his bombs and tanks and missiles I don’t believe that the Russian dictator will ever subdue the national feeling of the Ukrainians and their passionate belief that their country should be free. "And I say to the British people and all who have heard the threats from Putin against those who stand with Ukraine we will of course do everything to keep our country safe "We are joined in our outrage by friends and allies around the world. We will work with them – for however long it takes – to ensure that the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine is restored because this act of wanton and reckless aggression is an attack not just on Ukraine. "It is an attack on democracy and freedom in East Europe and around the world. This crisis is about the right of a free, sovereign independent European people to choose their own future and that is a right that the UK will always defend." |
Should we address them as Mrs. & Mrs. DaBrat? |
Who says there are no honest people left in Nigeria? A colleague of mine got to work today only to discover that his phone was missing Long story short, the micra driver dropped it at the nearest police station and my guy went to pick it up. He begged the driver to take something but he refused. Funny thing is, the police men on duty demanded he gave them something before they returned his phone. We were glad because, he was robbed of his former phone recently and he just finished paying a loan of N250,000 for this present one. |
Strive for peace but be ready for war. |
Dear Teacher, why didn't you show us the one you drew. Meanwhile, why will you write, "Can you hear me" on paper? |
Kobojunkie:I can see that you are a rude person. Anyway, believe whatever you want to. Perhaps if you were more courteous and decent, I will have showed you some new testament examples but no, I will rather not condescend to your level. |
Super Cop don fall out of favor with some powers that be. |
Which legacy please. not paying full salary or making all schools to have one uniform. Even the "state of Osun" thing was uncalled for. People did not like the "legacy" but you are more interested in personal gratification. This is a man you did not even really show support for initially...haba |
These are women that might have become future Okonjos. Now, their blood may be crying vengeance |
NaijaMutant:True. Most times, there will be evidence that you just used the machine. Also, if the machine is faulty, the ATM custodian will know by doing immediate cash count and troubleshooting |
enlightening article. my worry is just that, rather than stop doping, other athletes that have not been caught will begin to start looking for smarter ways to hide their acts |
There was also Krest |
PROPEACE:It will surprise you. Space will fail me to share one I am aware of but children can suffer for the misdeeds (and vice versa) of their parents. |
They have sent her to early retirement ![]() |
SmartPolician:I feel some cheat because they have escaped doing it in the past OR they know people doing it but have not been caught |
So sad. Even the way they bundled the elephant is enough to make it want to die. |
I doubt but time will tell. We did not hear Tinubu making noise like Aregbesola is doing yet his action spoke loud. Meanwhile, Aregbe too is not a saint so why is he forming to be interested in the people of "the state of Osun"? |
The funny thing about this all saga is that, instead of them to change, some corrupt people will be thinking he was just not smart enough |
Aregbesola should go and learn from the case of Oshiomole. Was he a better governor? If not for the fact that he is in APC, I am sure Oyetola would have exposed so many atrocities he committed during his tenure as governor. |
What bothers me about this issue is that, why Aregbesola is accusing Oyetola of biting the finger that fed him, is he not also doing the same to Tinubu? Why excuse in himself the same thing he is accusing in Oyetola? All na selfish interest. |
Aaronsrod:Please choose your words carefully. The Priest is not stupid. Meanwhile, who made you a judge of those who go to hell? Is baptism even a criteria for going to heaven or hell? |
What do we think as how? Have you spoken to her about it? Maybe she wants to surprise you. Maybe she is not into it. Maybe you are not your boo's boo. |
This is great news. Big congrats to the Tigress |
Well, Paul (formerly Saul) killed many innocent people and he ended up writing most of the books in the new testament. |
Too bad. If it was his sister, would he be happy with such? I pray for strength for her. Life goes on anyway. |
This is suspicious. Who will bear the cost of the clean up? |
I'm trying to imagine the kind of speed that will cause such havoc to people inside a MRAP (mine-resistant, ambush protected vehicle). |
My people, no be small thing o. I should have bought fuel last night but my procrastinating side convinced me to wait till this morning. The filling stations did not even open...I'm in sifia paaaain |
The way Frank Idoho anchors that program makes me feel he was born for that purpose. Like, that's his calling in life #OkBye |
There is definitely more to this story than we are reading. I don't think the Priest can just wake up one day and say such a thing for no reason. Even if his reason is "unreasonable", did the Parish members try to resolve the matter with the Priest? It's sad though that tribalism is loud in the church too...#sigh |
