AnanseK:
At least you have made it clear that you are talking about Mohammedans ( whatever that is) and not Muslims.
They're both the same thing. And synonymous with terrorism .

So I just checked in my account to see several mentions- some insulting me and others calling me liar, and some claiming that religion has nothing to do with individual character.
The truth is , whether we like it or not, there are some forces that shape people behaviour and make them act the way they do, and religion is one of these forces.
Religion keep people in check, because of the fear of inevitable in the afterlife. Muslims are generally more devoted and serious about their religion than Christians. Muslims take religion Very serious and it's the most important to them, this is the reason why there are more honest Muslims than Christians because Islam in the strongest term, forbid cheating the lies and many other crimes.
Let me give you guys an example, I have never had the notion that Muslims are considered to be more honest than Christians until I joined nairaland. I have never had any serious relationship with Christians until I registered in this forum.
I trade PayPal, Bitcoin and many other currencies in nairaland business section, and there was time I want sell PayPal to one of the member here. The disagreement ensured between us as to who will send the money first. But once I drop my bank account name and he saw Muslim Hausa name, he asked if I'm northern Muslim and told him yes. He said no problem, he would send me the money first because he believes Muslims are more honest than Christian, especially northern Muslims. That's even how I got the idea that Muslims are more honest than Christians. This happened to me not once. And here in the north we see our self as less honest Muslims than Arab.
It appears people are very scared of losing their arms rather than the way you portray it, as them being so honest.

Given enough freedom in Western lands, I've had Mohammedan associates who ate during Ramadan, lied , were greedy, hateful etc

Remove the fear of physical retribution by other Mohammedans, and you will see them revert to their true nature.

They're just as dishonest as everyone else. And worse because they can be very hypocritical.

Read my comment and digest extensively. I made mention of a typical Hausa man, and not a Moslem. Muslims you can find in any tribe, but believe me if you have been transacting business amongst the tribes in Nigeria, you will never dispute my claim that an Hausa man is more truthful and honest as far Nigeria is concerned. Even though I may not have statistics to back this up, it is a statement of fact. Mind you am not even a Northerner
Hausa people are mostly Mohammedan, except the few who're traditionalists or Christians. So there's a point in mentioning that they're Mohammedans.

There is nothing that I've noticed to be honest about them. That yourexperiences with them are good doesn't make them more truthful or honest than the rest of the Nigerian populace.

They've proven themselves as brutal, cruel (senselessly so) and dishonest people as a whole. Do not try and paint them as something different from what they really are.

I never said you're a Northerner.

Habakus:
You be pure Mu*mu.
So the Igbo boys take the Abokis in lying classes according to your chaff reasoning?
As if an adult Northerner cannot differentiate between wrong and right.
Don't mind that individual.

These people are thieves just like everyone else. That person simply hasn't interacted with them to know that they lie a lot more than we think we do. They must steal just as much as they lie.

Truth be told, I am a Christian and can relate with what the O. P pointed out. I have lived in both Christian dominated and Moslem area, and can attest to the fact that the typical Hausa is more honest than any other tribe. The only thing wey spoil Hausa man na their religious intolerance.
Oh, please.

There is the fear of having your hand chopped off and a person doing a thing because even if there would be no repercussions it would be the right thing to do.

I've had Mohammedans steal from my pocket before.

Honesty is not a function of religion, but of the integrity of a person.

I wonder why feelings will be hurt just cos I said the truth
Your truth simply attacks his definition of cult and tells him to mind his own business and talks about professionalism. In the Nigerian sense of the word, isn't he correct?

You could address his boss wearing unprofessional items such as his ring that is clearly not a fashion item since it has been recognized to belong to a sect/group. His choice of clothing is the same as a boss walking in with a political partys pin on his shirt. It's dumb.

As the OP pointed out, his response on an American forum is different. Probably because everyone there isn't trying to be condescending/sound wise with their "truth".

Nigerians need manners.

It does like hake. (Missing fish and chips right about now)

But why on Earth will a man go out to buy a specie of fish he has never tried before then proceed to claim it is "plastic"?

Oh, gods of Olympus! If it were fake why didn't he report it to the necessary authorities instead of running to post his doubtful looking video?

An April's fool in August.

Media has given everyone the gavel to be anointed judges in their courts. I was expecting to see a video. SMH.

Now to the pinkys and brains in the house, You don't have to believe me that US gave birth to ISIS.

In this world where media moulds our perceptions and opinions, a gun in the hand of a Zionist is a freedom fighter and protector of his land but a gun in the hand of Hamas soldier he his a terrorist.
The hatred for Islam holds strongly here in countries like Nigeria where we are so lazy intellectually.

Ask your Christian families and folks in the other side of the world where people reason with their head and not ass, why they leave religion. They realized the whole religious institution is a scam. instead of reverting to Islam, they choose to be atheists or free thinkers.

Read and be more informed to nourish your brain for healthy thinking.

I am a Muslim and not a terrorist .
You must not be practicing it fully then.

A true Mohammedan should live under Sharia and not the secular laws.

Why are you hiding?

Christianity EtcRe: Why Are Most Theists More Hostile Towards Atheists Than Competing Religions? by Tellemall: 11:38pm On Jul 27, 2017
If you want acceptance, go to God. Not all of this quest for acceptance from people.

It's ridiculous the time you spend against theists. Why not build up on your lack of belief instead?

All these threads seem more sentimental than logical. If you don't believe it, why spend a lot of time on it illogically? The imaginary scenarios are just...!

Always the sad tales of people refusing to marry you etc because you are atheists. Pity party. Mopers united.

Locate atheists who share your disbeliefs and move on.

Nigerians and the land saga.

Why do people always come to make trouble on another person's land?

If you own land in Nigeria, try to do something with it before the encroachers arrive.

I don't know how such issues are resolved, but we're all here to learn from responses

And that sign is a good waste of ink and petroleum product. But hilarious. Thanks for seeing it.
