Congratulations poster! What moral justification do you have to feel the way you claimed? That your girlfriend (not your wife) is pregnant for another man. Why should you be having sex (nothing like making love in this case) to someone whom you are not married? The girl, yourself and the secret lover are all thieves and have sinned; You are a fornicator who is not even ashamed. Lord have mercy! |
Are there still elders in this family? They need to wake up to their responsibility and resolve this issue. Having said that, while I detest some of Dora's utterance and penchant for cheap popularity, I think this nephew of hers is also not responsible. One, he raised some issues which to me suggests that Dora was not compromising her position as a public officer to the family hence the stance that tends toward blackmail and wiping unnecessary sentiment against her. The guy’s manner of addressing his aunty shows disrespect even though he tried hard to conceal it. Lastly let all the parties to this crisis behave more maturely and stop washing their dirty linen in public thereby assaulting our intelligence and sensibility. They should remember the saying, "united we stand, divided we fall" Come to think of it, are they the only family with issues or with a public officer as a member? |
@ OBINO2 It is impolite to regard the previous ideas on your post as 'unreasonable'. People's efforts deserve appreciation. |
Our God is a good God. He knows that these journalists are undeserving of the sympathy and support they had enjoyed when in captive hence this latest revelation. The guys obviously thought they would be reimbursed by their cohorts –corrupt politician - if such amount is disclosed to have been lost, without thinking of the implication. This bunch of NUJ fellows only use journalism as a cover to perpetuate evil and corrupt practices. God save Nigeria |
Congratulations on your new baby. May the Lord distinguish her among her peers. I admire you both's openness and love for each other. |
davidylan:@ Davidlan With this attitude and reasoning, it will be difficult to keep a relationship with anyone including a woman. @ poster If your story is indeed true, I will advise you have discussion with your girl rather than taking a decision base on assumption which may be wrong. People should always be given benefit of doubt and opportunity to discuss issues. Communication is very important in any relationship. |
Nice one from Ondo state! |
May we never witness a Deji like Oba Adepoju in Akure again. I hope his dethronement will serve as a deterrent to others who believe wife battering is a sign of macho. |
I watched the programme. Wale Scott's performance was a disappointment. I almost argued that he wasn't the one on the hotseat until Frank repeated his name. The guy exhibited so much ignorance on sports that you will find it difficult that he reports the beat. |
Please I need help, two J700 Samsung phones went bad in the spate of one week The first one had contact with water and went off while the second one fell off my hand five days ago and has remains malfunctioned ever since. When I make calls, it does not ring and when a call is picked, I would only hear the caller but the caller would not hear me. Please what can I do to restore the phones? Thanks |
Mutual respect, Openness and Communication |
Patience's reputation has come to hunt her now more than ever before. Let's not forget that this woman's close aide was arrested and was to be prosecuted for money laundering by EFCC while she was the first lady in Bayelsa. It was established that the aide was fronting for her. Again, the question is what does Dubai represents for our rulers. Haven for looters. Many of them own lots of property in the emirate. So Naija be watchful! |
What a wasted life!! |
Cway is good. Their office is @ Oshodi after Charity bus-stop when you are coming into Oshodi from Mile 2. |
The bible says, "Be not deceived, God cannot be mocked; whatsoever a man sows, so shall he reap”. Let the shepherd be sensitive to his flocks. Let people who are called to the position of honour remain there; hence their empire is taken from them. |
It is the story of the "Ali and the angels". You have to be "holy" to see "Angel Yar'adua". Chikenaa!!! |
This post and discussion is pretty much of an idle talk by little mind. Christian with knowledge and understanding don’t discuss trivial issues like this. |
Nothing is wrong with it. It is your choice |
Another distraction from defeatist, they have lost it, No more attention for them, Naija must move forward |
My mother meant the world to me. Twelve years after her demise, I still find it difficult to accept the fact that she is no more. She was too selfless, humble and quite enterprising. I grew up having many people living with us on her bill, but she never complained for once. She feared the Lord and respected her marriage. She never had formal education but died a multi-millionaire via trading. I pray God give me the grace to match her achievements despite my two degrees and over a decade of work experience. House, I had a mother in a million indeed! |
How can I quote a part of someone else' s post or break a post into parts for response? |
sir sjb:Is this realistic? How much investment will earn N10million naira monthly? |
I guess the governor is afraid of his shadow. There is no rest for the wicked hence everyone around him is a suspect of some sort. |
Thank you so much Justwise and Vicjustice for your prompt response. To clarify issues/questions raised by Vicjustice; Did you visit the UAE with your family or alone? It would be more appropriate had you visited with your family, but still this might not increase your chance especially if you went there alone; rather, it would raise more questions because, you would have to explain what you went to do in the UAE especially now-a-days that the West have red-alert at anything coming from the Muslim world I visited UAE with my family for holiday. I belong to the working class group with limited period for leisure. Vicjustice: |
Hello Nairalanders! I plan to go to the UK for summer with my family this year for the first time . Will appreciate sincere answer to some of the questions below; How do I start processing for visa and when will it be late to do so? Mine is a family of four, what is our chances of being giving visa? Though have not being to UK, but had visited Dubai, does that increase our chances? What documents do I need to present? Does it worth going for holiday in UK or is US better? Please will appreciate any other info in this regard. Thank you. |
Akuviv:Can't agree less. @ poster You may just be the change your marriage needs |
Can someone respond to this allegation; it raised credibility issue on nairaland and moderator. |
Tamita:Some people's level of reasoning is quite unfortunate. Why don't we condemn crime for what it is? Why should anyone be encouraged or helped to commit crime? The fact that people are carrying 2 passports with different details doesnt makes such fraudulent act right. If nothing, we should condemn it with emphasis on implication of such act. Why blaming the authority when it is being encouraged by people who should revile it. I think 9ja is corrupt right from the beneath before it moves to the TOP. I see alot of sense in Justwise's position. |
@ Justwise I have noticed that you are always in haste at condemning anyone that claims to be visa agent on this forum. Why is this so? Please don't get me wrong, am not an agent but a possible patron of their service. Is it that u think they are all fraudsters? An agent got my visa to Dubai last year (though not via nairaland), so I tend to patronise another one for visa to Canada but your comments always put me in check. Will appreciate your feedback. |
He didn't wait to be kicked out. Tired horse |
Don't take stupidity for smartness by deceiving her. Let her know your position, but be nice about it. |
