So the burial rite can commence! Anofia!!! |
Act 2, Scene 4! The Shenanigan continues |
This Mama Gee is really a star. You mean all these responses on one person. She is getting all the attention has intended, kudos to you! |
God save our land |
When is the next class? Students are eager to learn |
Which president is sacking? Dead one, living one, I don't know. When the head is rotten, what do you expect of the body? , it is a shame |
Shame to bad people, that does not change the fact |
Take it, such is usually a stepping stone to a greater height |
Goodluck Jonathan has not function vibrantly as a Vice - President, I wonder what manner of presidency he will offer if giving the opportunity. Sadly though, he is the next in line. The guy needs to be up and doing, Nigeria is a dynamic nation where there is no room for docility. |
@Chapelle.S You talk about respect, but please note that respect is earned, it does not grow on the tree. @poster & others MTN has done what it considered right. No sane individual or corporate organisation will prefer a hostile and unstable environment like Nigeria to Ghana. It is so expensive to do business in Nigeria. Even local Nigerian businesses are now moving out of the country. It is so sad this is happening, and we have no government in place to address the migration. With the current shenanigan in our polity couple with the economic situation that have witnessed the exit of professionals from their jobs, many more Nigerians are dusting their passports to leave this country. Will you blame anyone? It is a shame. |
If Yaradua is alive, good luck to him and his family. And if he is dead, he has only answered his calling which we shall all do - It is only the time that is unknown. Beyond his present state of being, I think this nation is bigger than any person or group of persons. For how long will Yaradua inept continue to hold us to ransom in a country of over 150million people? For goodness sake, this country needs urgent rescue from rogues who have hijacked the machinery of government. Which organisation, not to talk of a country, can survive this long vacuum without collapsing? Somebody has to be in charge for God's sake. |
@ poster Only Yaradua can confirm his status, don't mind the impostors and liers claiming what they do not know. People please listen to the president talks Umoru are you dead? Yes, , but Turai said I should not tell anyone. What are u doing now? , "Wrap up in a cooler that is not easy to identify. When Will you come back to the country? , this year! next year!! sometime or never!!!! |
I know it will come to this. What does one expect from a bunch of rogues anyway? They don't think before they talk or take action. They have only succeeded in disgracing us further. Yeye dey smell! |
I guess the marriage was based on fame and money and not really for love. But again, this happen too soon. |
I'm interested, send details to tayo1234@yahoo.com |
We all know it except the perpetrators who are deluding themselves. This is indeed a sad moment for Nigeria and Nigerians. We need God more than ever before to heal our land and put a stop to the shenanigan. |
Can we discuss this and take learnings, especially parents in the house? |
Anybody home? |
So those rogues in the national assembly suddenly find their voices to protect their interest. Nigeria is indeed a "Charly Boy Show" where anything can happen. The nation has become "fatherless" yet we are supposed to have a legislature responsible for check and balance on the executive. If we claim that terrorism is alien in Nigeria, what you call 'Boro Haram' and the likes that have been happening in the North for many years now without anyone being brought to face the law for the killings. Or does it become terrorism only when it involves the use of bombs and explosives. Let's be sincere with ourselves for once. |
Have respect for others |
We are all jolted to the reality of the situation that has become a great stigma on us all as a nation. A Nigerian young man who choose to drag the name of his family and that of the nation through the mud thereby exposing the citizenry to further ridicule; and bring condemnation to a nation gradually rebranding a battered image. The question is; what went wrong with Umar Farouk's upbringing that was concealed from his parent to have gotten to this level? Should(n't) the parents (particularly the father, being a son) be blamed for the unfortunate adventure of this boy? |
God is ever faithful. You take charge of your life and be more focus on what you want out of life and your educational attainment |
It is not compulsory. But you may find it interesting to do if the husband deserves and worth giving such treat but definitely not for bullies who will rather have a slave for a wife. I was doing it until my husband got someone else to do it for the family. But sincerely before marriage, I never thought I would be able to do it. |
I definitely love my husband, but my kid is a part of my body, my life, I can't explain it further than that and my husband understands that bond and agrees, women who choose their husbands/boyfriends over their children do so out of a sense of dependency.
Really? Hummmm!!!!!. Everyman or woman is a function of his/her orientation, upbringing and exposure. A lot of women are missing it in marriage because of wrong understanding of what God intended for marriage. In marriage, what you believe is what you get. Average lady going into marriage believes her husband will always be a cheat because that is what she grew up to know of her father and other men around her. But you know what? Your own marriage can be a model if you have understanding and you are ready to play your role well. |
dyabman: nkb:I beg to disagree with you. I have been married now for almost fifteen years with lovely children by the grace of God and I can tell you that my husband comes first and my kids know it. Granted there is a great bond between mother and child but the understanding of marriage makes my position mandatory. The situation you painted is a fall out of a home were parents did not see themselves united as one before their children. |
This is simply idle talk that makes no sense, people should learn to apply wisdom in whatever they do. |
Let's not mock or rejoice over Maryam Babangida's death if indeed it is true. Death is a price we shall all pay, sooner or later. We should just take learning as the living. |
Let’s maintain some level of decorum when we talk about women. We have them as mothers, sisters, daughters, aunties and wives/girlfriends - loved ones, remember? |
