sozen2010: It's obvious to know that the process is being delayed because there were a lot of people selected between 10,000 that made it to come up twice.Secondly, People chosen between 10,000 & 11,000 are still very high. If no much people selected between 11,000,12K,13K they might even go as far as 17,000 in March current.Trust me. there are still some backlogs who later sent there forms and this is one of the contributory factors!

May God not shatter our hopes.

Its not compulsory to get NPC certificate if the one you have has your parents name,your full names and your date of birth.All spelt correctly

Sincerely, i dont have any further explanation as to why the bulletin is getting slower but i hope and believe everybody will get a fair share before sept 2013.

kennyeast: Write ur New address in a paper, at ur POT, tell the immigration officer that u want to change ur address, he will ask u for the new address then u give it to him, simple. If I have time I will be posting first hand interview experiences of people from different background, questions and answers, I hope that will help.

1)yes u need them ooo,very important.

2)Not in most cases but in somecases where driving is required

3)3-4 weeks for the two(SSN and GC)

@all,those that have collected their visa and those awaiting to collect your visa(its yours IJN),be prepared to learn how to stand for hours(8hrs atleast).I noticed most jobs here esp entry jobs require standing.America believes sitting is down time and so they hardly provide chairs except if your job requires it.I used to be waka about person for naija cos of the nature of my job then and so that is helping me here bt still,i dey tire smal smal ooo.Aim for the best jobs but be prepared to for the worst.Most of my fellow workers scream whenever i tell the kind of job i do in naija.They asked why i decend so low to take my present job bt as naija boy now,waiting for that BIG job might affect alot of things esp when i have my family with me to feed.Moreover,getting a job reference here is very helpful and important.Its okay if you are single but if married,you have to be on the move so that you dont lack behind on bills and so.
America is sweet ooooo,its getting cold now and this will be test of time for many of us that are new here. Please go to that Lagos embassy and collect your visa and come and join in the journey to prosperity .

We’ve bin prayn for that black American Lady @window 13 but it was a white American lady that did d interview 4us @window 16 and she has already denied 2 families and asked anoda family to come back. Our interview lasted for 20mint and it goes thus:

babbs45: There is no need to worry about this bill. This bill passing the house doesn't mean it is the law of the land. The ONLY way the Republican Party can get rid of the the dv lottery is when they control all the three branches of government. For now they only control the house. This bill will make its way to the senate which is control by the democrats, I doubt whether its even going to make its way to the floor to be discuss left alone vote on. Even if both congress pass it, the president who is trying to push through a comprehensive immigration reform and who is strongly against this bill, will definitely veto it. The republican will need 2/3 majority in both house to override the veto.
You see how complex this is? They have tried numerous time to get rid of the dv but they all failed. The same faith awaits this bill.

That is why it is very important that has you guys become eligible for citizenship, don't put it of. Together we can teach this republicans a lesson. Hate them we passion.

I doubt if senate will ascend to it.Even republican Bush dint support the bill. If passed,it will not affect 2013 and even 2014 applicants.It will only mean,that there will be no application in 2013(for 2015 would be applicants).
