Gbabe 2: Good afternoon peeps.I am really thankful to you guys.I must confess u guys are doing a great job.@Kemzone,Adesojiaderemi,temmytamy,gentiger and everyone you are all wonderful people.
I had my interview this morning around 9.15am to 9.19am and it was a pleasant experience and divine favor of God at work.
We (0i and my wife)got to the emabassy around 6.30 am.
We followed their normal security checks and the routine.
Next thing i paid in dollars though i had alternative of over 130k in naira in case she has issues with the dollars i presented.Well no issue,we proceeded to another that collected all our documents (NPC,Marriage cert,my bsc,Hnd Ond and Waec certificates,Police Report and Medicals.I presented the other certifications which includes my ACCA Cert,CIA Cert,CrFA cert and CISA certificates but she didnt collect any of except the required ones)
About 35minutes after a black american lady showed at the window 13 and started the interview for the immigrants.Later another CO showed at the window 16 before a white blonde girl later showed up at window 15 respectively.
Enough people had issues with the currency and visa fee payment and i had to extend a good gesture to a family like that.I am so sure they visited this great forum for once.
The black american gave a family of three visas and 3 individuals as well.She was so friendly that all prayers then was that God let us have our interview with this young lady.Obviously,it didnt cost the lady anything to grant everybody that came to her visas.I must tell you,you guys must just pray she is not on holidays when its your turn (just kidding)
Exactly 9.15am she called us to her window.
Me and Wife : Good mnorning.How was nite
CO:Fine thank you (with a charming smile)
CO:You are here because you won a lottery
Me and Wife:yes
CO:Do u promise to say the truth and just the truth
Me and Wife:Yes we do

I:I Told her my place of work and dat i do work as an internal auditor

My wife:am still looking for job

CO:Can i see them
I:I brought the album out and we flipped from beginning till the end.
CO:Congratulations you should go to this address next Wednesday to pick up with that radiant and charming smile again

Really grateful to God and all u guys here.U are all doing a great job here.Kudos.
Lessons learn t.Pray to God and dont fidget.Prepare your documents and commit the rest to Gods hand.We are all going to be successful IJN.Again i greeted almost all the staffs i came across including the security guys there.its not necessary but trust me you might need them later and you don't need any embarrassment or delay whatsoever.

chykezworld: with d circumstance...it is advisable...no CO will refuse u visa wtout confirming if truly u hv health issues...which is by seeing ur medical report...i didn't advice him to say its cuz of money dat y he didn't do his medicals...some times u act like the sole knowledge on issues concerning dvlottery....frm my xperince d gal ws asked questions on her O'level...after dat d CO gave her a white form telling to do her medical n bring it date she indicated....n tru it all d CO ws all smiling...i neva heard d CO question y she didn't do her medical.

Am not saying you should attack me and moreover i dont know all,thats why i dont answer all questions here.The ones i know,i use it to help others. You can say whatever but dont put people here in trouble by going to interview without medicals.

chykezworld: @ oga temmy....i said dis cuz u had superior knowledge wen it comes to dvlottery......but wat u don't knw is dat i hv witness similar case...i ws in US embassy for interview wen a dvlottery winner had her interview wtout medical result....after d interview d CO...gave d gal a new date to bring her medical..i ws present...dat y i said it frm xperince.

Well ,am also talking from experience and from what read on their website.Its clearly written that you must complete your medicals before interview but their are cases where your medicals maynot be ready before interview,this case is rare and mostly with people that have health issues and not those that havent started the interview at all. CO have the final say and they could deny you if you havent done your medicals at all.If you tell embassy you dint do it cos of money,they would cast doubt on you taking care of your self in US and that could also work against you during interview.
PLease never tell anyone to go for interview without medicals,its not adviceable

abesin01: just had my interview about an hour ago.Thank God and all the forum members for their support .I must confess I gained alot from the forum.

The only question was my job description and why I didn't continue working where I served.There after she congratulated me and gave me my collection slip.
I wish others awaiting interview success.Thanks for your prayers.

Embassy will not listen to you whether you have money or not,remember visa is limited and only those well prepared will be given.Its clearly stated in the instructions that you may be denied if all document are not ready before your interview.

chykezworld: i will call abt d passport tin 2day n get back to u....for d medical it is possible to go for d interview initially wtout it...but bear in mind u will b asked to bring it on a new date b4 ur visa is gvn to u...but my point is dat it will buy u smtym to raise d money after d interview...it is well wt u.

DOnt ever try to go for interview without medicals. you will have 20% chance of getting the visa.

If you will take my advice, thank God you not appling as a family so its just abt you right?
Now what are we looking for? Abt 5000k for alagbon, 30000 for medicals and abt 52000 for aboki making a total of 87,000 abi?
So how much do you have now? Lets say u have abt 37,000 remaining 50,000 right?
Ok, dont u have friends, old school mate, relatives, dads friends, mum friends, pastor, church members, fellowship/home cell members etc and the list goes on and on.
My brother heaven help does that help them self. Temmy is a family of 3 and as at his time, kobo no dey him acc but thank God he made it and i also know some members of this forum may be going through same but they dint beg online but also made it through.
Its all about pride now, meet people, talk to them, show them the 1st and 2nd NL meet your friends and relative, Nigerians do help. But coming online is not a good idea. Goodluck.

Adufesco: Thanks 4 ur reply my brother, i have been looking 4 work since last yr i came to lagos, but jst got one last month with low payments, my popsy promise to help me concerning dis processing but he later said dat he does'nt understand dis and he said he can't waste money and i have try my best to explain to him still nothing came out 4rm him! I am now stranded i dont know what to do again, dat is why i post that seeking 4 help... Pls help if u have and God will reward u back Thanks.

Sincerely,if you are the only applying for the visa,then i feel you should try harder and hustle for the cash. I had zero kobo in my account when i started my own runs last year and i was to pay for my self,wife and baby.Then visa fees was $819 per person($2457 total for visa alone).I husled and God did it for me.
Just believe and hustle more,God will see you tru

Better,just try to stay in Connecticut for 3weeks and get your GC and SSN ,you can now move to Texas.

You are right,He can take a gamble.I tried it in texas to no avail. While someone with expired medicals enter US tru Newyear,them no allow me for Texas oooo.Texas seems to be very strict compared to NY and other democrats states

Quite a while people, I just got into Dallas Texas few days ago. Temmytammy, I learnt you are here too and getting on fine. please how did you get started with the GC, SSC and drivers license things.Like to get responses from the house. I have till 23rd Dec to get back to Naija. I hope I could get these stuff before then.

in texas,you have to wait till after 21days before you can start processing SSN but your GC will be sent to you within 2weeks.You can googgle it and find the nearest SSN office to you. You cant do driver license until you get your GC and SSN,write a written test,and do a driving test.I dont think you can get all before going back to naija but make sure you are with your GC and SSN

1. Ground Ogbono (Ogbono that has gone thru d grinder)
2. Egusi
3. Other food stuff

Pls advice me cos I wouldn't wanna jeopardise my visa based on flimsy requests. Is there any flight concern or danger flying with these cos I know that since after sept 11th: airports are extra concerned about stuff like this.

It will never affect your visa,the worst will be to seize them. All are allowed bt make sure they are dried very well and kepp them in a ZIPLOCK bag

Yusmash00: No, I won't accept this. Most African banks have bureau de change like first bank. Even if you go to any bank that have Western Union, They will exchange naira to dollar for you. Its just going to be on the higher price than from the Aboki's.

DId you know i went with my wife flight itenary? We had long distance affair for 5years and at a point i couldnt bear the traveling by road so she started bookin flights.I had to search tru her mail and mine to get some of this and lo and behold, they helped me.During my second interview,the CO checked my bag and saw some of if and made copies,he then put it in the file they opened for me at the embassy.Am sure that copy would be shown to his superior as evidence.
No fact is too small oooo,i was even ready to tell them to check my facebook page to see some of our pictures together. I printed out picture from my phone as well,though some werent clear but at least they could see us together.
This people need facts and evidence and you have to show it to them but dont take what could implicate you oooo
