So, in this man's mind, good education is all about the proper use of English language? In as much as I agree with him that Nigeria is a shithole filled with illiterates to the brim, if not they wouldn't have elected a man like buhari as president, but centering his argument solely on understanding and speaking good English is an error. How many Chinese, Russians, Germans, etc, speak English let alone a good one, does that make them illiterates? You might argue that English language is not their official language, but English itself is confusing. If not, why would we have American and British English? |
