Please sir @frankrobbn1, I sent an email request. I need assistance with vetting my SOP before I submit and would gladly appreciate your assistance, thank you! Frankrobbn1: Over the course of my five (5) years experience in handling complex immigration cases, I have seen on several occurrences, applications being refused by the visa officer after requesting and passing a medical examination. There is no blue print that works for Canada immigration processes and the format is not properly elucidated. A visa officer has absolute right to deny an immigration application if he/she is not satisfied that the applicant is a genuine student. I can tell you free from the wisdom of my experiences that situations like this often occurs when an immigration officer is not able to complete their assessment on a file before transferring the work load to another visa officer for finalization. The new visa officer who then took up the application from where his colleague stopped will review the supporting documents/comments and may have some reservations thus unavoidably leading to refusal. I have seen this happen on several GCMS notes, albeit it's not common. Above all, should you've received a medical request, your application success is 95% close to approval. Keep the faith alive.
It will end in praise |

Was it a mutual funds account or a savings account? Maygirl953: I used stanbic. Go to the bank, show the customer care an example of my bank statement sheet. Explain to them, tell them u want to send ur acc statement to Canada embassy, tell them that u will be charged a fee of 1300 naira or less. Stay there with that staff let he/she send it to the embassy and print ur own copy with my bank statement sheet and give to u. Also ask them to stamp it for you. Shine your eyes let them take u serious. If they say you will get it in your mail, tell them no that u need your own copy. I am speaking from experience. Most of these bank staff don't even know the services and how to render them. |

Is the account a normal account or a mutual funds account? If it's a normal account stanbic does MBS, just send a mail to their customer care, they usually respond with 24 hours. But if it's a mutual funds account, they do not operate the MBS way yet. Hope this helps. Oluwaseyitanfun: Good morning house, please is anyone using stanbic ibtc here? I printed my personal statement of account yesterday but I am unable to get my MBS. I asked at the bank yesterday but the staffs had no idea, even after I told one of the bosses what I am using it for. I was told to use my Internet banking but I am unable to.
I event sent a dm to stanbic ibtc on twitter but no positive response. Please someone should kindly help . Thanks. |

Please for the IMM1294 form, there's a part that asked for cost of studies, Tuition, room and board and funds available for my stay. For the tuition part, is it 1 year tuition or 2 years tuition. Same as for room and board.
Please I would appreciate a response on this, thank you. |

Hello everyone, for the NSE route, can one still use it if they have MBS of 30k CAD in their account, but it wasn't there for 6 months. For example ny sponsor ( company's cooperative) transferred part of the funds to my account with a sponsorship letter stating what the money is to be used for. Can I still use the NSE route? |

Please for the IMM1294 form I need a clarification. There is a part that asked for cost of my studies, Tuition, room and board and funds available for my stay. My course is a 2 years course , am I supposed to fill the cost of my studies for 1 year since POF is meant to show one year tuition or should I put the cost of the studies for 2 years?
Also for duration of expected study, do I put 2 year or 4 years as my admission letter only gives an estimate that it takes 2-4 years to complete the course. |

TennieYF: Please can someone help answer this, liberally want to know, because I was considering using NSE option, presently I have 2m in my account, but my sponsor is going to transfer 10m to me with a letter stating what it is for. So is it that I won't be able to use NSE route this way?
The sponsor is my mum's office cooperative, it is a loan which would be given to me with a letter explaining what the money is for. |

childgodly: Good afternoon everyone. I got accepted to a University a week ago and I'm very excited but a bit worried about the visa application process. I am writing IELTS this week in order to apply for the Nigerian Students Express program. However, I'm facing a LOT of issues with it. It states that i need 30k CAD in my account. I definitely haven't had that amount constantly for the past 6 months. It's possible to get that amount in order to show them, but will it still be valid if it hasn't been in the account for six months? Or should I just forget about it and use the regular route? Speaking of the regular route, the Canadian immigration website states that it will take approximately 19 weeks to process my study permit. That is time that I do not have, because classes begin in September and I need to travel before then because of the whole quarantine thing. I know it might be a long shot, but nothing is impossible. Can anyone offer any words of encouragement or has anyone received their permit in a shorter amount of time? I'm trying really hard not to panic and just to trust that God can do the impossible. Looking forward to a response. Thank you! So are you saying that if the 30k was just put in your account by a sponsor alongside a sponsor letter stating what it is for, one cannot use NSE? |
