Crime / Restriction On My Bank Account by Terver90: 4:05pm On Jul 14, 2020
Greetings to good Nigerians out there, This is my problem that I have been battling with since December, 2019. I really need a good advice and a final solution to this problem. Thank you very in anticipation for your valued contributions.
On the 16th of December 2019, a young man in his early 20s approached my p.o.s point, I greeted him as usual as it is my normal way to make my customers comfortable, then he told me that he wanted to transfer money in exchange for cash, then I gave my account information, thinking it is the usual #2000 and other light amounts, I enquired for the exact amount and he told me 400k.
I told him that I don't have that kind of amount, but I can go and source it, he told me that his brother is going to do the transfer, he then called the brother and gave me the phone to speak with, I obliged, I greeted with the brother and he asked for my name and tribe and I told him, but I felt he was just trying to a assess how genuine I was, after that, he requested that I should send my account details which I sent to him through the brothers phone.
After like 30min there about, I was told that the money was sent by the brother, I then logged in to my account via bank application and saw 430000 instead of the 400k, and he confirmed the amount, I in turn forwarded the money to my business partner who is into medicine store business on a wholesale scale, I called a commercial motorcyclist and he took me to my business partner's shop.
On reaching there, I told my partner about my transaction and he also went through the app and saw the money there, then he sourced for cash and gave me, I turned came back through the means of the same cyclist. I gave the guy to confirm the amount, after confirmation, he told me that the money was complete and he asked for my charge, I told him that I will settle for 4k in total each 100k I will collect 1k. He protested, we dragged and he finally accepted to pay 3k.
Then a thought came to me that I should commit him to write; and I made him "I Mr Emmanuel made a transaction of 430k and paid #3000 as charges" and he signed. Then at the end of the day, I tried buying recharge card and my account couldn't debit, I tried severally and it couldn't just go, then my business partner called me asking if the money I sent to him reversed to me, I told him that such can't be in as much as it entered his account.
The next day he went to bank and he was told that the sender of the money logged a complain, the bankers thought I was the one, I reached the bank the following day and they inquired from me and I told them how the transaction came about, I am an agent with the bank and the transaction went through my agency account with them. Since then was been tossed between the Nigerian police and the courts, closing my business and spending till February.
Seeing my struggle, my partner waded in, he contacted a lawyer and paid him, the lawyer called me and interviewed me and assured us that it will be settled, before Corona set in proper he called us one day that the legal department of the bank told him that they will release our various accounts when the lockdown gets lifted.
We were waiting for the issue to settle, I started using my account opened for me in NYSC camp with the bank, a separate account from the agency banking account.
Then all of a sudden even that account realised that I can't access funds from it upon further enquiry I was told that the owner of the account whose money was sent from to mine got a court order against me, that was how part of the money I secure as loan to change my line of business got trapped, I contacted the lawyer and he keeps giving excuses promises that doesn't add up to the situation on ground, out of worry I contacted another lawyer to make enquiry about my case.
He told me to get a lawyer and I told him I already have one, I then went back to our lawyer on the case, telling him about my discussion with another lawyer, but he flared up shouting on me through the phone that if I should pressure him again he will just forget the case, brothers and sisters, is it a crime for one to struggle legitimately for a source of livelihood? I don't like crime, as a graduate since I couldn't get a job, resolve to business and see where I have found myself, please help with your advice/recommendations. Thank you very much

Crime / Nigerians Let's Revisit Our Drawing Board. by Terver90: 6:07am On Jul 09, 2020
Greetings to the good and true Nigerians by heart anywhere on the surface of the earth, you are more than special! I am compelled to write because I am so blessed to be a Nigerian and I am trying in my own little way no matter how little to contribute my quota, first of all I think it is very much necessary we should make our own individual efforts to salvage our dear country from either a few or populated misguided. Of course the challenges are numerous all concocted from the promotion of incompetence over merit. But I feel there is nothing too much or too big for a United and determined group.
We all must realign ourselves with the fact that we must as both individuals and collectively as a nation face the facts that no one is coming very soon to fix our nation for us nor must we wait for another political administration before we can get it right, I assure you that your individuality goes a long way in what happens to Nigeria, ranging from your thoughts, choices, decisions and actions.
Furthermore, most of us are A1 grade citizens in pointing faults, while at the individual level, we are often worse, there is the urgent need for daily assessment of our individual thoughts, choices, decisions and actions. I once read a post here on nairaland when the op was seeking the view and opinion of others towards stealing from a proprietor by his colleagues if he should expose them or keep mute, guess what, to my greatest shock my eyes read terrible comments in view of him concealing the disastrous act.
Now, what do we benefit when we press keys on the boards or engage in discussions and call our political class names? Does that improve health care, education, economy or social well-being? Answer that yourself, lets think together, I guess no, then why not consider another approach? or when we (most especially here on nairaland, I might be wrong), blame insult igbos or yorubas and other ethnic groups, what improves in our lives when we do these things? That again you are to answer.
There are so many things that I want to draw our attention to, but I am a business man so I don't have much time to write, therefore my great brothers and sisters, parents, younger ones and children, we can be a great nation beyond our imagination let us not pass this evil mantle of our time to our younger generation, the key to these problems in summary is SELFLESSNESS AND PATRIOTISM
Let me tell you who is a true Nigerian, not what some evil minded persons or the enemies of nigeria want her to be. A true Nigerian is characterised as follows;
1. He or she considers the aftermath of his actions, choices and decisions towards a fellow Nigerian and others.
2. He/she doesn't cheat nor steal from others and call it being smart
3. He/she frowns at unethical behaviors and does not say this is a Nigerian way of doing things.
4.He/she does not promote incompetence over merit in national affairs and tag it help at the expense of national development
5.He/She promote and celebrate hardworking, is concious of a source of wealth condemn and shame ill-gotten wealth.
6.He/She teach children to follow due process, honesty and how to love Nigeria
7.He/She have positive thoughts and opinions towards Nigeria, he or she does not capitalize on the weakness of another person but is more interested in developing the person.
8.He/she exposes evil plots/plans, remove envy from the mind and pick motivation to achieve success through honourable means.
9. He/she obeys laws knows the content of the national anthem promote them at heart.
10.He/She is religious tolerant.

My fellow applicants, after further review of the information I posted here regarding the replacement in the nscdc, I realized that it was done sometime in 2012, I tender my unreserved apology for the consequences of my action. We have a great country to improve and this is a must achieve task, GOD bless the federal republic of Nigeria.

I am pro Nigeria, I believe that Nigeria can be great, I commend the Nigerian government for efforts to better her citizens through social development opportunities. But we Nigerians need to wake up to the fact that bigotry, religious intolerance are our major causes of insignificant developments. Lord JESUS, I pray that you will steer Nigeria to her potentials of greatness I pray thee amen.

Sodiquinone:

Oh, Christ worshipers! We want an answer to our question from your wise. If the Lord was murdered by some people’s act…what sort of god is this? We wonder! Was He pleased by what they did to Him? If yes, blessed be they..they achieved the pleasure of His But if He was discontented….this means their power subjugated His!! Was the whole entity left without a Sustainer… so who answered the prayers? Were the heavens vacated…when He laid under the ground somewheres? Were all the worlds left without a God…to manage while His hands were nailed? Why did not the angles help Him when they heard him while he wailed? How could the rods stand to bear the True Lord when He was fastened How could the iron reach Him and His body pinioned? How could His enemies’ hands reach Him and slap His rear And was Christ revived by himself…or the Reviver was another god? What a sight it is!A grave that enclosed a god! What’s more weird is the belly that had Him in it! He stayed there for nine months in utter darkness…fed by blood! Then he got out of the womb as a small baby, weak and gaping to be breastfed! He ate and drank, and did what that naturally resulted in Is this a god??!! High Exalted be Allah above the lies of Christians All of them will be held accountable for their libels Oh cross worshipers…for what reason is it exalted and blamed who rejects it? Is it not the logic to break and burn it along with the one who innovated it? Since the Lord was crucified on it…and his hands were fastened to it? That is really a cursed cross to carry…so discard it Don’t kiss it! The Lord was abused on it…and you adore it? So you are one of His enemies!! If you extol it because it carried the Lord of the worlds why don’t you prostrate yourself and worship graves, since the grave contained your god in it? So, Christ worshiper, open your eyes, this is what the matter is all about.

The ways of GOD are not our ways, moreover how comes you find it so easy waive off the great signs he did both before and after the mystery of his agony? Even if you seek physical proves, why not a visit to Israel and find out things if you are financially bouyant, faith is a mystery. Stop luring and deceiving the children of GOD. I am a living testimony of GOD goodness woe unto me when I show carelessness and allow the enemy deystroy. Christians wake up and seek GOD with sincerity of heart, stop deceiving yourselves with earthly pleasures.

I agree with op, our GOD is full of holiness and man does not dictate to him how to run the affairs of the universe, rather he created man out of love and gave man freedom to choose between good and evil with a reward for good choices and purnishment for evil choices. Atheists me simple message for you is this GOD is GOD and the wisdom or knowledge of man is nowhere close to GOD, years ago you were totally dependent all of a sudden you grew developed and feel you know so much and challenge divinity just because it doesn't conform to your new acquired knowledge or wisdom, be careful. The ways of GOD is beyond answering I am a Christian, open your mind and go in humility with your doubts in prayers and he will reveal himself to you. I pray that the purpose of GOD in our lives through our Lord JESUS Christ be fulfilled in our lives amen.

Brothers you both don't need to fight nor demeanor yourselves before pointing out your facts, you both can be right about the CBN thing. These are some of the reasons we have problems in this country, we tend to promote too much unnecessary superiority in almost all spheres of endeavors, personally I need a loan for my p.o.s business as I paid access bank their payday loan and it is like they don't want to borrow me again. Anybody with good knowledge or assistance, don't hesitate to contact me on 08135067839, thank you very much in anticipation for your assistance.

Pdp is no longer in power, I am highly apolitical here. These are some of the serious problems affecting this nation, there is no unity, what is obtainable is sectionalism, bigotry and religious intolerance amongst many bad habits that promote bad governance. I think these borrowings are becoming too unnecessary within a short period of time, the amount of money and frequency of the borrowing is becoming too alarming, but to show you that some Nigerians are not pro Nigeria, but they are pro apc, pro pdp and the likes. But I assure you that posterity will not forgive you if your empty promotions ruin these great nation with potentials for being amongst the best globally. Do you care to imagine about the future of Nigeria @ all? Then promote only what is Nigeria and have political institutions and government accountable.
