To maintain the hugeness or what?

And by the way, from the right up the op is definitely female..
HealthRe: My Experience Today When I Went For Culture Test. What The Woman Said. by tesppidd: 1:32pm On Jul 19, 2023
HanisahZuwy:
Today, I went to a government/general hospital to see a doctor. When I got there, I got card and waited for my turn to see the doctor. Then it was finally my turn and I went in, told the doctor the symptoms I'm experiencing, and then he referred me to the lab for a culture test.

When I got to the lab, I went to the cashier to make payments for the test and thereafter waited for my turn. When it was finally my turn, some documentations were made, instrument for the culture collection was given to me and I was referred to a woman who would handle the culture test.

When I got to her(the woman), she pointed to an enclosure, that I should enter there, UnCloth, lie on the raised bed and open my legs. So, I went in, then came out immediately to ask her if I can collect it myself. She said no, that I won't do it well, that I would just get the surface and won't go deep. So, I agreed. I went in, undressed, got on the bed and open my legs. So, she came and collected the specimen. This was somehow painful because she had to go very deep. After collecting the specimen, she then went to put it in the instrument that was given to me earlier, then came back immediately and said 'keep it up' with a thumbs up sign from her.

Since then, I've been wondering what she meant by that. Does anyone here have a clue what that could mean?
Maybe she discovered you have not been used

Maybe by Yahoo boys.

We can't enjoy any threads now without tribal war, political trolls, and so on... How I wish seun deploy a means of banning these people i.p and with options of not able to use VPN to register another account or having access to this place , many will really behave but seems he is enjoying it too.

If you go to "Mama put" and you tell the woman to put *Rice AND beans* for you. she passes the plate to you and you saw only rice please what will be your response? With your answer to the question above also tell me why your number 1 with "AND FCT" isn't mandatory?

There's a school my childhood friend attended "Command Day Secondary school Enugu"

I was in their house when she came home with her first term result/report sheet.

Eight (cool subjects was in her report sheet including English and Maths. She Aced 7 of the subjects including English but had D in Maths.

Guess what? "FAILED" with a red pen was written on her Result sheet because the rules of the school is that you will pass 5 of the subjects (either get A, B, or C grade) including English AND Maths.
grin grin

Una sef..

All these your rice and beans analogies sef just dey crack me up.

There is no food like rice and beans. There is rice, there is beans.

Rice and beans is a mixture.

Nigeria is not known as 36 States,
Nigeria is not known as 37 States.
Nigeria is known as 36 States and The FCT.
"36 States and The FCT" was, is and will always be a collective.

So 25 percent in 2/3 of 36 States and The FCT,
As a statement is very very very two sided in my opinion.

You people should just stop trying to be English Gurus and call for that clause to be written to specifically mean what they intend to mean.

As for me, both interpretations are valid.

To agree with your second paragraph, there is no absurdity in mandating a President to meet the 25 percent in the FCT, since FCT has no governor and it's residents are under the direct rulership of the President.

It is also absurd in the sense that a candidate could win the entire 36 States by making more Ethan 25 percent but be disqualified simply because they got only 20 percent in The FCT.

Lolz
U are the one creating unnecessary ambiguity in ur head my guy

This thing is very clear like crystal😁
25% in 36states and the FCT

Maybe after this case, it can be amended in Yoruba, igbo and hausa😎 but as it stands now, it is what it is my guy
"25 percent in 36 States and The FCT."

If you are not being political and mischievous, how can you call this statement clear as crystal?

A clause that has caused so many disagreements between erudite SANs for many years?

Even till today lawyers are still battling about it, and you say clear as crystal!

Guy you are being mischievous.

God knows I want the election annulled, but the truth it that that clause is highly highly highly ambiguous and controversial.

The way it is written in the constitution, it could mean both ways.

Only the Supreme Court will decide which way they want it to be.

And u must buy pepper and the salt😅
If u like buy #99 pepper and #1 salt, the 2 must be bought to meet the condition
Why are you confusing yourself? The salient factor in this case is the #100.

How you spend the #100 is the Koko here.

Just like the main case, the Koko is the 25 percent; not the 36 states, not the FCT.

Stop confusing yourself.

I maintain that nobody knows it all.

That clause in question has created unnecessary Ambiguity.

If the contemplation is that one must get 25 percent in the FCT, then it should be re-written to something like this;

25 percent in 2/3 of the 36 states including the FCT.

A better analogy would be;

"Tesppidd go and buy me #100 Salt and Pepper"

Now am I buying #50 Salt and #50 Pepper
Or
Am I buying #100 Salt and #100 Pepper?

Based on that instruction, I would most definitely buy #50 Salt and #50 Pepper.
PoliticsRe: 25% In FCT Is A Must by tesppidd: 6:34am On Jul 18, 2023
Lol

People should stop forming English King Kongs and chill abeg.

Nobody can deny that this clause of the constitution is unnecessarily very ambiguous,
and the Supreme Court at the end will interprete it the way they want to.

It's just like a MATHEMATICS PROBLEM,;

*Find the PRODUCT OF 5 AND 3 PLUS 2.

Without BODMAS, we would all still be struggling for the correct order till today.

Going forward that clause must be re-written to remove such ambiguity.

But for now only the Supreme Court will interprete this 25 percent matter the way they want.

24 States and The FCT.

In Nigeria, FCT is never written or spoken of, as a State.

If it were, then the law would have been stated simply as "in 24 States".

Am not a Tinubu supporter but honestly my own interpretation is 24 States are required, with or without The FCT.

I hope I am wrong anyway.
PoliticsRe: 25% In FCT Is A Must by tesppidd: 6:48pm On Jul 17, 2023
1. 25 percent in 2/3 of the States and The FCT.
2. 25 percent in 2/3 of the States and In the FCT.
3. 25 percent in 2/3 of the States and 25 percent in The FCT.

Bearing in mind that Abuja is not called a State, It is called The FCT.

So to be honest I think that 2 and 3 above mean the same thing while 1 is different.

Number 1 means that The FCT is not mandatory while both 2 and 3 mean that The FCT is mandatory.

How is it written in the constitution? I have not read it...

He said it the way it appears in the law. The law did not specifically say you must have 25% votes in Abuja. The lawyer is actually right . That is exactly how the law put it. assuming the law says after have 25% in 3/4 States , you must also have 25% votes in Abuja it would have been a different case. The lawyer is brilliant aswear.
The law says 25 percent in 24 States and the FCT.

Why did he say 29?

What he ought to have said is that;

his client Tinubu scored MORE THAN THE REQUIREMENT OF "25 PERCENT IN 24 STATES AND THE FCT"

Him saying 29 states and the FCT is being dubious.

Remember Lagos was the Capital until Dec 1991 and Tinubu came to power in 1999.. just under 8 years after moving the capital from Lagos to FCT.

So Lagos was still sound in infrastructure (compared to other states in the country)..

So Tinubu built on top of that..

Now the country was in shambles and he took power... country - 36 states have been backwards in the last 8 years..

Compared to lagos that was way ahead of its peers when Tinubu took over as the governor 8 years after the capital was moved from Lagos to FCT.
That's my point.

For a state like Rivers, anything less than 500 of these buses is a joke.

With their population, demographics, and pocket. 500 of these and a thousand of the smaller 18-seaters should be their minimum target.
There should be at least 5 of these in each LGA for it to make minimum impact.

That's at least 100 buses.

They bought 17!
