Experienced defender can be forgiven when they make such mistakes while. young defenders are condemned when they make such on rare occasions. Defenders usually peak around 25yrs but you'll always see the potentials in them at the early age.

You are only dancing around. How does a final of a UCL team sheet represent the team that played throughout the season?

So many things may happen to prevent some players from appearing in the final of the UCL. Example was when Scholes and Keane didn`t play the final against Bayern in 99. Fletcher also missed 2009 UCL. With the way you reason, it simply means they were not good enough to be in the final.

As a matter of fact Messi played some UCL during that season and scored for Barca. He couldn`t play in the final because he wasn`t fully recovered from a torn harmstring he suffered against Chelsea. How does this translate to him not being good enough. Xavi was part of Rijkaard`s team but also missed due to injury. Iniesta came on in the second half and made the pass that led to assist for the equalizer.

These three players later form the bulk of players that did it for Pep.

Pep succeeded Rijkaard and stumbled on Messi that was about to mature after Rijkaard had laid the foundation for him in the team and won two UCL with Messi`s major influence. He sensed that he`s going to have problem with the team because his tactical inept of no 'plan b' to his tiki-taka with teams packing the bus was coming to the fore, then he took the easier route by announcing he was going on a sabbatical.

This is where his lazinness as a coach comes in. After being beaten by Chelsea in UCL and he knew that R. Madrid was going to win the La Liga. He made this statement as reason he`s leaving Barca "But gradually, i found it more and more difficult to motivate myself and the team. That is when you know it is time to take a walk" That is LAZINNESS written all over the statement. That`s the laziest statement i`ve ever heard from a young coach for that matter. Pep went to Bayern and met a team that just won the treble and a team that had appeared in three of the last four finals. He couldn`t take such a good team past the semifinals in his three seasons there. Why couldn`t he replicate what he previously did at Barca at Bayern if he`s such a coaching genius? Your comment is full of flaws. Pep won consecutive leagues with Barca B while playing attractive football. This was what made him get the get the job on a trial level but he wowed everybody. Pre Pep, Barca went two years winning nothing. He won every avaliable trophies in his first year yet he doesn't deserve the credit. It's the team that deserves it.
