You never made mention of whether it was in the legue or his team! That was why I asked you if the stat was in comparism with others in the la liga or in his team but then you were going roundabout!
You are a perpetual liar! This was my post where you yourself even embolden Bilbao when you quoted me. Is the word Bilbao not different from La Liga?

tess1:
You no know ball in @elampiro's voice.

Herrera having sideways passes when stats showed that he had the second highest number of key passes and highest number of through balls in his last season at Bilbao. Does that add up? Or was he playing as a winger from the number 10 position he played then? Does that add up? You don't even know why he was the most rated player in that team. All you know of a number 10 is his assists without thinking of the quality of striker that is playing in front of him. Though, i'm not surprised that you don't even know that through balls are usually forward passes.

Abeg, go find something else doing. You no know ball at all.
You see your life outside when you keep on lying on a public forum.

I mentioned Messi due to the question I asked you by the way.
That said, for a player who creates 1.6 keypasses per game in the no 10 role, that's so awful.
As a matter of fact, 1.6 key passes isn't a bad return for him in La Liga considering the fact that only seven players had more than him. And out of those that had more than him, how many were no 10? That is another lesson for you.

I thought you mentioned that Herrera had the highest throughball made but now it's "only Fabregas and Isco made more than him". Yeye!
Gbr1 come and see your customer! This is the person you ought to keep monitoring inorder to boost your intelligence look rather than spinning others' posts.
Also, where have you been when I have been hammering on the no 10 role Herrera played in his last stint at Bilbao. As a matter of fact, he did little in that role, creating a meagre 1.6 key passes per game, not even up to 2!
What a disappointment!
ABegi, find some other player to defend. This is making you look bad.
This was how you kept embarrassing yourself on Morgan 'matter' the other day!
Abeg, swerve!
Liar! Liar!! Liar!!!
Another twisting. Show me where i said he had the highest number of through balls in La Liga.

You are only looking for a way out of your gaffe. You said some had high rating because his passes were sideways passes but stats showed you that he had the highest numbers of through balls in his team.

As a matter of fact comprehension is one big problem you have. We were talking about his team Bilbao. It was his team mates stats that i made comparism to when i said he had the highest rating and was their best player that season which you disagreed with. You also mentioned in this your post "no 10 role Herrera played in his last stint at Bilbao" Why then did you then stylishly brought in La Liga and Messi when you knew it was Blbao that we were taliking about? Trying to shift?

Read my last post again where i questioned your stylish bringing his stats in comparism to other players in La Liga with special reference to Messi. I seperately addressed that by telling you that even Messi had the same through balls as Herrera with only Isco and Fabregas who had higher numbers.

Now show me where i said he had the highest number of through balls in La Liga. Once a liar, always a liar.

Lol!
Where? In the league? Or for his team?
Where Messi dey then?
If you mean for his team, it's not surprising as he was their no 10.
That's why i said earlier that you know nothing about football. Though, not surprising because all that you do is to follow football matches through online reports.

Have we ever mentioned any stats in relation to La Liga as a whole since this argument started? You brought it up that he was shit for Bilbao in his last season and i brought out his rating by whoscored that he was Bilbao's best player that season. You said no, because whoscored ratings are shit because "Points are given for stats like Pass accuracy even if it was sideways like that of Herrera". But stats told us that you are a total liar because you didn't even know what through balls and key passes are and that it contributed to his high ratings. You already knew that he was their no 10 before saying he was awarded high rating by whoscored because of his sideway passes which was a total lie. This points to one thing that you don't know Herrera and you know nothing about pass analysis in football. I have proven that to you, so go and learn more before coming here.

Also, if you say Herrera as a no 10 for Bilbao was shit in his last season. Then you are also saying Athletico Bilbao that finished 4th on the table that season was shit as well.

As for Herrera in relative to the other players in La Liga in that season.

Stats make us know that Messi and Herrera had the same number of through balls. Messi too must be shit according to your logic. Only Isco and Fabregas had a higher number in the whole season in La Liga. What have you got to say to that? Stats have put you to shame once again in spite of the hatred you have for the guy.

Wetin this one dey talk.
Whoscored rating is based on some unnecessary stats. Points are given for stats like Pass accuracy even if it was sideways like that of Herrera, long passing even it were unnecessary and predictable like that of Rooney, distance covered etc and all dem unnecessary stats and so-on.
I only visit there to check the stats of players and not their rating.
I'm sure Rojo was rated higher than Martial in the westham F.a cup match for his distance covered, endless crosses, pass accuracy etc. As a matter of fact, whoscored tends to rate player who tends to run more on the pitch for their distance covered. Doesn't matter whether they were useless or not while doing so.
You no know ball in @elampiro's voice.

You people no dey even get shame. Spent four years (2004/08) in Championship and got relegated to League One (2008/09) . Gained promotion to Championship the following season (2009/10). Spent another five years (2009 - 14) in Championship before gaining promotion to EPL in 2014.
They spent half of their season (2014/15) in 20th battling to avoid relegation. And within a year of their survival they won the EPL while your team Arsenal has been shuttling between 3rd and 4th for 10years of the same period.

This year was supposed to be your year when all the big teams were down. What did your club do? They simply allowed Leicester snatched that opportunity away in broad day light and you are here trolling. SMH.

The UCL you are even talking about, what has been your achievement there since you`ve been qualifying? To mark register and get certificate of appearance.

Exactly what i was expecting from you. When your clownish talk is busted, you resort to calling people "eediots" "yeye". This has become your regular trademark. You should learn to keep your childish talk away whenever you come online.

I shouldn`t depend on whoscored that tracks every contribution made by every player on the field of play. So i should depend on you who saw nothing good in what herrera did when he came on against Everton despite him winning the free kick that started the goal and making an asisst but you who kept on defending Lingard despite his rubbish play yesterday with statements like "the only thing lacking with Lingard is the end product" "had a hand in our goal, his pace &link up play...." Again saying Herrera was shit in Bilbao is a supreme insult. I don't think you followed Bilbao matches then but Herrera was great for them. I still think he is good, but form, lack of playing time, and positional stability have contributed to his below par performances. I also think having a lot of players for that #10 role has meant some guys sometimes have to play elsewhere. My proposition would be to make Rooney a CM. Fellaini to be shipped on, Herrera/Mata to fight for the #10 then buy a RW and a CF, CB. Let each man know their position & not be RW today DM 2mao. Of course injury permitting tho' NCOs most of our problems were a result of injuries.

Also, how many times do I have to mention that I know that Smalling one on one tackling is impressive before you get it? Also, if a defender's positional discipline is good enough, he won't need to do too much tackling in a game!
Confused bunch!
I can see that you watch football upside down. That`s where you saw that Morgan is better than Smalling. If he reads the game so much like you claim, why is his interceptions not better than Smalling`s?
It`s only a mad man`s speech that`s always different.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by tess1(m): 11:31pm On Apr 03, 2016
I`ll like to know how and why somebody will be comparing Smalling at 25 with Morgan at 32.

Smalling has played 2520mins in the EPL this season.

PS% - 81.8%
Aerial duel won - 3.1
Tackles won - 1.8
Interception - 2.9
Dribbles - 0.7.

Wes Morgan has played 2880mins

PS % - 74.1%
Aerial duel won - 2.6
Tackles won - 1.2
Interception - 2.6
Dribbles - 0.3

As a matter of fact, it was highlighted that passing is Morgan`s weakness. And somebody is here telling us of reading and awareness of the game. He`s very lucky to have Ngolo Kante in his team, if not, he would`ve been exposed long time ago.

Ngolo Kante that averages 4.5 tacles and 4.2 interceptions per game is the one shielding the defence. The guy that can harass any player anywhere on the pitch.

Any day, any time, Smalling is a father to Morgan in EPL.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by tess1(m): 10:57pm On Apr 03, 2016
Kagawa10:
I said I won't repeat myself again but let me do this just once.
Morgan's reading of the game and positional discipline are far better than Smalling. He also takes more risk on the ball with his dribbling which shows how good he's on the ball. He's also as physical as Smalling.
Hence, not just Smalling poor football skills that's the problem.
Morgan`s reading of the game and positional discipline are better than Smalling? And Morgan with more stable back four with Ngolo tackling all over the pitch since the beginning of the season conceded more goals (31) than Smalling who didn`t have a stable back four because of injuries and and LVG playing wingers as full back in matches conceded 25 goals making the team the second best defence in the league. If Morgan faces half of defensive instability that Smalling have faced this season, he would`ve been found out so many times

Morgan dribbling? How and where? Smalling even has more dribbles than him. You are the one overhyping Morgan. Morgan is already 32. Where was him when he was of Smalling`s age? Smalling is miles ahead of Morgan in any defensive stats this season.

Thank God you were not our coach when Wenger requested for Smalling when we showed interest in buying Vermaellen.

One plays for a possession team, albeit a boring one while the other plays for a counter attacking team.
None? And you called Morgan a beast over Smalling?

So, a central defender playing counter attacking football is not supposed to have good passing ability?

As a matter of fact, Smalling is far ahead of Morgan in passing ability.

What else makes Morgan a better defender than Smalling?

Do I have to see Jones play this season before I know if he's more composed on the ball than Smalling or not? Is Jones a new player in the league?
Anyway, being composed on the ball doesn't mean you must be a great passer. For example, Januzaj/Martial are composed on the ball but not good passers. Even Jones who's not as technical as the aforementioned two, has a good touch on the ball as opposed to Smalling.
So, you mean if one is not composed on the ball, he can be a great passer. I`m not going into that right now.
I`ve told you to leave jones out of this for now.

You still haven`t answered my question. Who is the better passer of the ball between Smalling and Morgan? There`s no need to be beating about the bush.

I'm not even talking about passing skills here but composure on the ball. Even Jones is more composed on the ball than Smalling.
You need to talk about the passing ability because you just said a good foitballer whether he`s a defender or not should be able to handle the ball in his feet. And that`s one of the characteristics you`ve been hammering on in comparing Smalling with Morgan. So, let`s start ftom there.

There`s no need bringing in Jones because he hasn`t really played this season.

My question again. Who is the better passer of the ball between Smalling and Morgan?

As a footballer, you should be able to handle the ball well in your feet whether you are a defender or not. I repeat that Smalling has God to thank for not making Pep his manager.

And who is better at passing the ball between Smalling and Morgan?
