Dereformer: Oh! Thank you Almighty God. This is happening in my life time. So SE, SS, SW and MB can actually support the same course. This is unbelievable, especially for SE and SW to speak with one voice and stand on the same page.
Imagine what will happen if these four regions: SE, SS, SW and MB align together politically.
Now back to the issue. I thought they said that 85% of lands in Nigeria belong to the North. So why not create a grazing reserve in the North and leave the south and MB alone! lol! It is happening in ur time. But seriously, it is an encouraging development to see all the southern regions in one accord and speaking with one voice. Have always said it that the worst thing that happened Nigeria is the discord prevalent in the socio-economic atmosphere of the southern region. The North knows this, and have been using it against the south to "check" most of their political plots and remain in power. Well, it's better late than never; if the south will 2day put their differences aside and unit, I think naija will be a haven for us all and perhaps we(south) can deliver naija from this madness and bloodshed Buhari is planning to bring upon us. |

olatunjithomas: indirectly saying"don't let what happened in 1983 repeat itself " someone get me my face cap, I see the ship of SS hovering around the Bermuda triangle. Nothing go happen abeg! 1983 will never repeat itself, certainly not in Niger delta. It is people like u who encourage and guide the already stubborn Buhari on the path to self destruct. Since May 2015, there has been a military onslaught in Niger delta courtesy of a fait by Buhari, till date, we are yet to see the positive impact of that military operation, infact the losses we experience in the oil and power sector today can be attributed to Buhari's decision to use military force in Niger delta. In spite the obvious truth that the military can not effectively manage the situation in the Niger delta region, chest beaters like u still advocate military action and a repeat of 1983, like if u were from SE, SW or North u will call for such treatment on ur region. It is still early for Buhari to call for a dialogue with this militants before we have a budget deficit running into trillions of naira. |

greatman247: I am on glo infinito, but to enjoy their bonuses on phone calls to any network, you will need dial *200# just once and then you will get a confirmation message on your phone. After then you can load any card but starting from N200 and you will get the 200% bonus on your bonus account and also another N200 on your friend and family number account. That's if you load N200 card you will get another N400 on your bonus account and another N200 on your friend and family number account. If u load N500, you will get another N1000 bonus on your bonus account. To check your bonus account, dial #122#, to check main balance dial #124*1#. And the validity of the bonus is 7 days and it can be use to call any network. Not only that. You will get another kind of bonus to call friends and family numbers. For example if you load N200 you will get N400 on your bonus account and also get N200 in your friend and family number account, if u call any number that has been added to your friend and family number list they will deduct from your friend and family account while money in your accounts will be intact. But the friend and family numbers must be glo number to another glo number. Also you will be given 15mb to browse throughout the week.
To know their data plan:
Visit:
https://www.gloworld.com/ng/personal/data/data-plans/
I browse with this code:
Type Comonth and then send to 777. I use it on Blackberry Bold 5. It will last you for one full month. And u will get massive bonuses to call any network when you subscribe too.
I am not working with or for glo, I am just a customer like anyone out there, so make nobody think its because I am working with glo, I have to support glo network over mtn. Mtn to me is a scam, and they shud be ban from Nigeria if only my opinion can count. How can a foreigner come here to scam us and indigenous company don't engage in such. What provoke me more about mtn, is this, after scamming u, u call their customer care, they will only plead with u and will not compensate u for your loss, which account will I record such loss? Non-sense. MTN! those guys are to me the devil, so I try to eat with a long spoon when in the table with them. Seriously I never trusted their new data package, knew there would be a few complaints here and there so I didn't rush to subscribe...those guys are one of Naija's official full time scammers and funny thing is they do all these while NCC looks one. Anyways I still gat the right to patronize any Tesco company I want and mtn is definitely not in the first two... Lest I forget, thanks for the info on the glo data package and bonuses, really appreciate. Thanks! |

Of course Nigerians know that the Nigeria security operatives have been greatly compromised / polarized, and those who are not, are made to act a script or they are isolated.
By the way, this excuse still doesn't negate the fact that Ugwuanyi of Enugu state is a slow poke; when he found out that the security operatives stood down after alerting them, what did he do... For me, this matter should have been treated as an emergency considering the magnitude of havoc perpetrated by these herds men, but I don't think the governor of Enugu state treated it as such. On realizing the stand of the security operative, he should have sourced for security from within (local vigilante groups, volunteers etc.) and/or evacuate the community (pls don't tell me it can't be done).
The governor never deemed it fit to let this community know that there was no security on ground, he did not tell Nigerians what was going on, he relaxed in his governor's Lodge lazing about, and after the attack, he went to this community crying like a 2 year old.
I guess Ugwuanyi came up with this story after coming under nationwide criticism for his poor response prior to the attack and also his useless visit to aso villa. |

Abagworo: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/08/22-killed-fresh-farmers-fulani-clash-zamfara/
Gusau—Few days after the visit of the National President of the Cattle Rearers Association to Zamfara State, to reconcile the warning farmers/fulanis clans, no fewer than 23 were reported to have lost their lives in Hura Girke village of Wonaka district of Gusau Local Government Area of the state. About 80 are also currently receiving medical treatment at Mada Hospital as a result of injuries they sustained while escaping. It was gathered that people suspected to be Fulani cattle rustlers stormed the village in the late hours of Sunday and gunned down a number of people at the entrance of the village before entering into their property. After they succeeded in entering the property, they started shooting indiscriminately. The gunmen numbering about 60 and armed with different dangerous weapons, including AK 47 rifles, arrived the community on motorcycles. Source close to the area told Vanguard that the gunmen made several attempts to expand the attack, but for the intervention of security operatives, who repelled them. “Their mission was a reprisal one,” added the source. Governor Abdulaziz Yari of the state while condoling with the families of the victims, expressed sadness over the situation and assure the people of his government’s readiness to bring those involved to the book. Yari who was represented by his Commissioner of Special duties, Alhaji Sani Gusau, said arrangements will soon be made for their assistance and appealed to the people of the state to stop taking laws into their hands. if I get ur point, u are trying to say that the Fulani herds men attack is now a national issue . if that be the case, then Mr. President has to be proactive and act swiftly, Nigerians are dying in their numbers and nobody, not even the man who swore to protect lives of over 170milion Nigerians and their properties seem to be showing any sense of remorse to the senseless killing of these people. The president has the police, Army, DSS and other security divisions at his disposal, why has he not directed them to salvage the situation, what does he stand to gain by allowing this senseless killings. Perhaps Buhari has a soft spot for this terrorists. Buhari's silence on matters that affects national security/unity is disturbing and will only hasten the division of this country. |
