otunsman:I think there's something wrong with your head. No restaurant should be using expired or substandard products in their food or snacks. Nobody cares if it's 'persecution' or not. Any criminal act nipped in the bud is a good thing. |
Kai, but some of you are gullible sha. There's every possibility that the man is a BH sympathiser. heck, there's every possibility that anyone here is a sympathizer and supporter of BH There's also the possibility (as Amnesty international claims) that this man is just a good man, protesting against human rights abused carried out by the Army of Niger Republic...and is being punished for this by the Government. Yet there's a whole series of posts here demanding he be fed to lions and be brutally punished. Na wa |
chuna1985:I say again: There is indication that there will be any friction between the Buhari Government and regular citizens of the Niger Delta. Of course there's so much hatred from all corners...and your contributions in this discussion have been adding to that hate. Preaching hatred and suffering and destruction over an imagined scenario. As they say in Pidgin, "Who send you message?" chuna1985:Can you enlighten me on what exactly it is i'm supposed to be 'jealous' about? It certainly cannot be you, with your stunted intellect. Let me know when you sober up, please. |
dunkem21:What's wrong with it? |
Of course you can be cowed, Mr FFK. they've successfully used EFCC to cow you before. They can easily do it again. |
SeverusSnape:And how do you explain your quick conclusions when the person standing up for the current JAMB cut offs (atiku abubakar) is also from 'that part of the country'? You're drawing a conclusion based on one data point. Are you sure you're a graduate? |
chuna1985:There is no 'ticking time bomb'. You're just another loud mouthed, empty headed demagogue. Nobody is interested in 'drawing first blood'. Buhari certainly cares nothing for that. Asari does not speak for the Niger Delta, does not speak for every able bodied youth in the SS and is just inventing a scenario to complain about. A new age has come to Nigeria. A new age of good governance and transparency. In the past, the Nigerian delta was neglected in favor of selective appeasement of militants. This will have to change! |
jcmaiah:'Greatest Nigerian of all time'? The sycophancy is strong in this one. |
No, Mr President. You conceded because you lost by a very clear, unassailable margin. I know you're used to shady Maths where 16 is greater 19, but there was absolutely no way out of this one. Going to the tribunal with a petition would have just stripped off a million votes from your akwa ibom and Rivers tally. It's a sad day when people act like they deserve a cookie for doing what they are supposed to do. Maybe I should get an award every time i stop at a traffic light? Nigerians deserve an explanation why you conceded defeat to oil bunkering, pipeline vandalisation, corruption, subsidy cabals and, until the latter part of your presidency, Boko Haram. We need to know why power generation has dropped to 2000MW as at yesterday. Your minister blames it on gas pipeline vandalism. Why did you concede defeat to those vandals even after spending billions of our money on pipeline protection contracts with ex-militants, OPC etc? |
kendiddy:Choose one. Is he a nice man or an incurably greedy one? You cannot claim he is both of those things. |
madjune:The only reason why PDP imploded spectacularly is President Goodluck Jonathan. All he had to do was perform and PDP would still be in power, Buhari would have failed for the 4th and last time and APC would have been left to wither. All these allegations and finger pointing is just medicine after death, and is extremely laughable. ![]() |
barcanista:But You've already been 'engaging' Buhari weeks ago. It's now you know you ought to wait for May 29th when private citizen Buhari transits to President Buhari? |
calebo101:Why talk about 'stopping' what has never moved? calebo101:The rest of Nigeria sought CHANGE in a peaceful way. It's called the 2015 Presidential Elections, and the Change Agent #1 (GMB) is set to be sworn in then. You could have joined in that peaceful change, instead you voted for a continuation of the same pestilential party that has nearly crippled Nigeria. Your confusion is palpable ![]() |
barcanista:You keep bringing up Sanusi, and keep pretending like Sanusi never made a convincing response to the allegations against him. In fact, the vast majority of the cash Sanusi spent was approved by GEJ. barcanista:I suggest you take this advice yourself. Spare us this amateurish attempts at opposition and prepare yourself for a minimum of 4 years ahead of criticism. You may wish to take up Lai Mohammed's offer at training because your current efforts are rather meaningless and ineffective at the moment. |
Chigold101:Indeed? Then explain this part "“In Aba, I can tell you and I will tell Jonathan, that he did not win election in Aba. The APC won the election there but when I saw the result, it was a different thing because the people were angry because of the attitude of T. A Orji and the occasional interference of the wife of the President. People were angry.”" Which other Jonathan was running for votes in Abia state? |
IGBOSON1:It was different, because reasons...eh? When you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you weep. You hypocrites will cry salty tears in this dispensation. Mynd44:You join the list of Nairalanders I owe a bottle of cold beer. Excellent response! |
Nothing 'touching' about that letter. Just the same rhetoric we're already used to. We agree there's no need to embed 'pleasure seekers' with the army, but what about real, genuine journalists? What is the Nigerian army so afraid of? Journalists are embedded with the Chadian and Nigerien armies. Why the subterfuge? There is no basis for the army leadership to complain. They - along with GEJ - have let down millions of Nigerians affected by Boko Haram. Thousands lie dead, with their lives irreparably ruined because our Army failed to live up to their billing. Will these 'touching' words bring back the dead in Baga? Gwoza? Bama? Damasak? The hundreds slaughtered in their beds, shot and macheted in the bushes? Will it return the dead children of Buni Yadi...burned out of their hostels at night in a state under martial law, and then macheted, sabered and bayonetted as they crawled out of windows? Does it explain why Damasak - a town of 300000 people - was left in the hands of Boko Haram for nearly 6 months? Will it restore hope to the women molested in dark places? Does it go into detail on how, after regaling us for years on how the Sambisa forest was one remote, inaccessible place - the Nigerian army was able to romp through the forest this year, destroying BH enclaves? Does it explain how 'lack of weapons' was used as an excuse for Army setbacks in 2013 and 2014, for a war that started in 2011/12? Does it explain how the Army leadership allowed poor morale to permeate through the ranks of the Army? Or the rumors of slashed salaries and inadequate ammunition? I can say all these, because I have empathy for my fellow Nigerians. It's a pity many more Nigerians care nothing about their fellows in the North. |
Why don't you and this 'intelligent Nigerian' conclusively and convincingly prove these trekkers wrong by trekking from Lagos to Abuja so we can use your travel time to benchmark? You lazy dolts will not make good use of your time, it is to disparage what others have done. |
GEJ's auto policy just represents the bitter-sweet relationship the man had with Nigerians. On one hand, the policy was pretty decent, attracting foreign car makers to set up assembly hubs in Nigeria, boosting the economy and creating jobs. On the other hand, it constituted a renewed offensive on ordinary Nigerians and common sense . Needlessly jacking up import duties for imported cars even when local production was still less than 1% of demand, pretending as if increase in import duties was the only way to make investment attractive (as if tax breaks and car purchase schemes weren't enough) and shamelessly giving waivers to crony car retailers to import at old rates. One hopes that Buhari will take this scheme, support it with common sense decisions and excise all cronyism from the matter. Then Nigeria will become better. |
barcanista:Sadly, no. I would have negotiated higher for you ![]() |
Hacker ke Most likely the social media worker has not been paid for months and decided to revenge. Any moment now, barcanista and his fellow sycophants will soon strike out at PDP in protest over unpaid N100 per post dues. |
Funny bayelsa governor. Talking long and hard about Democracy and rule of law, yet blaming the man who won the majority vote fair and square because he didn't step down. All this complaining about imposition...I almost forgot it was the same man that brought Dame Patience as permanent secretary of a ministry she had not participated in for more than a decade, over hardworking and better qualified civil servants. |
eaglechild:Sadly, you TANoids are relentless in your quest for im'becility. Did I say anything about the origin story of the bill? I pointed out that the current FOI that was passed was sponsored by Abike Dabiri. You go on to confirm that it indeed was sponsored by Mrs Dabiri...so why insult your betters? Whether or not GEJ signed it into law, the fact remains that the heavy lifting was done in the legislative, and a bill that was weaker than originally intended - and weaker than the version OBJ rejected - found its way to GEJ for signature. Even OBJ would have signed this version of the bill. This whole discussion stemmed from your desperate bid to tie GEJ's signing of the bill to his nonexistent 'fight against corruption'. FOI bill was passed in 2011, yet the NNPC cabals, Oil bunkerers, solid mineral crooks, ministerial embezzlers and state-sponsored scams were still allowed to run unimpeded. You cannot revise history. We voted out this Government for their ineptitude towards the fight against corruption. Continue to shed salty tears up until you see GMB take the Oath on May 29th. |
kettykings:But you too are a dullard na. Why would you sit down, join MASSOB in imagining a scenario and then warn of negative repercussions to that imagined scenario? What concerns Buhari with someone like Uwazuruike, who wields little political power on the national scale, and who nobody will follow if he bleats for help? If 'Mr MASSOB' breaks the law, let him be punished for it. If he remains a responsible Nigerian citizen, nobody will arrest him. Simple as that. |
We just have to blame Goodluck Jonathan for this. Why make this contentious order when you're about to depart, knowing it will cause so much rancor? |
iscoli:It is also on record that all the oil companies had headquarters in the Niger Delta... Until your people started bombing, killing and kidnapping them. Is this 'comrade' speaking going to provide security for the companies? I hope Buhari shows less tolerance for these type of threats than Jonathan. |
eaglechild:You TANoids keep yapping about the FOI bill... Yet BudgitNG is constantly being refused in their request to get details of the salaries paid to legislators and PWC could not get access to the NPDC and CBN accounts. LOL GEJ merely signed into law the FOI bill that was passed by the legislative, a bill sponsored by a member of the opposition (Abike Dabiri). Giving GEJ credit for the FOI bill is just laughable. |
biafransoul:Who cares about all that? Where is the 'Buhari' in PDP? All these people you mention are even the more benign elements that came from PDP to APC. PDP still contains the likes of Olisah Metuh that was happy to divide Nigeria on religious grounds just because of desperation to retain power. It's still a haven of ex-militants, repatriated crooks and greedy oil cabals. This bitter whining is not how to do opposition o. |
shakazuldadon:Good points, but This ispoints serious hyperbole, sha. |
ShowYourCertificate:No you don't, traitor. You wish the worst for your country. Whatever happens, I will enjoy the mental imagery of you choking on your lunch in despair as Buhari is sworn in. |
hustla:Unfortunate. I had an s4 with the same issue. In my case it was a hardware issue and I had to pay for a new board. But try software solutions first. Use Odin, flash a new os on it and see. |
oyb:Ha, is that so? I didn't know his origin story before, Thanks for enlightening me. Basically, he's been a shameless sycophant for ages now. |
