Editor1:So free food for your little niece is more important to you than security, fighting corruption, infrastructure, power and Niger Delta? Some of you need to take up Lai Muhammad's kind gesture of tutorials in opposition. This type of childish post does not do you any credit at all. |
I heard this same thing 10 years ago from an elderly guy who had lived in SA for some years. Apparently, sharp Naija guys were good at toasting the HIV free girls there. And the jealous locals hated them for it. I wish they would ask for tutorials instead of killing. If a Naija man now goes and opens up a dating and relationship advisory company now to train them how to toast babes, den go say the guy is taking their jobs. Na wa. |
Loads of clowns on this page. Someone has made an effort unsubstantiated allegation and you clods are urging the person to post pictures of the alleged perpetrator. How sure are you that the OP is telling the truth? Please, until there's more evidence, it's a crappy thing to post someone's pictures online |
anwo247:...and there you out yourself as one of those intolerant hecklers with little sense ![]() |
anwo247:If you count a man in his thirties with two kids and zero personal interest in Politics a 'very young politician', then fine. anwo247:...Which is what happened? APC came out with a manifesto before elections, and people voted for them based on those promises (even though I'll eat my hat if up to 500k Nigerians read that document) anwo247:Isn't this what Buhari said? His Manifesto is his promise to NIgerians and he will work with that document, along with credible folks of his and his party's choice? anwo247:I would expect that the totally unpredictable behaviour of the members of the legislative houses and the judiciary would count as part of the 'unexpected difficulty' that Buhari talked about, but I suppose you're free to assume Buhari has the power of clairvoyance. anwo247:I think it could do with a big dollop of logic in it. |
Chiaka:I'm a Nigerian first and foremost, but also from the Niger Delta. The problems of the Niger delta would not be this bad if they had made better use of the allocations they'd received... Even a simpleton like you should be able to thing these things through logically, for once. |
barcanista:I see I was wrong about you. I thought you were just a concerned patriot worried about the country and hoping for the best. Now i see you're just raging at Buhari for personal reasons. It's gonna be a long ride, but one thing is clear...manifesto or no manifesto, everything hinges on whether Buhari can bring on good governance. If he succeeds, it's gonna be a long 8 years for you. If he fails, I'll vote against him in 2019. |
anwo247:No. It is all about folks like you refusing to look at issues objectively. Buhari is telling you that his manifesto represents his plans, but small modifications may be made based on input, feedback and dynamics from the legislative and judiciary....and you're criticizing him for his honesty. If he had come out to say that he will not obey the legislative and judiciary, you will call him a dictator. Sorry, it IS about good programs for the country. That is what will cement his legacy. And that is the CHANGE most Nigerians voted for |
barcanista:Bros, You make me laugh. You think I will not hold Buhari accountable too? You think i started off complaining about GEJ? I was up until 2am during the 2011 PDP primaries, cheering GEJ on against Atiku. I once thought GEJ would be the best thing to happen to Nigeria. Your negativity BEFORE Buhari starts is regrettable, to be honest. Allow him show his hand, and then you can rightly criticize and condemn. In fact, I will happy join you in criticizing Buhari for non-performance. |
Nigerians are the architects of our own misfortune sha. See how people here are whining instead of appreciating refreshing honesty from the President-elect. All manifesto are dynamic documents and smart leaders can modify plans on the fly to fit current reality and adhere to legislation. buhari is just telling you up front and you clowns are making noise. Did your hero GEJ put fuel subsidy removal in his Manifesto when he was running in 2011? Yet you supported him making an attempt to remove fuel subsidy. Rubbish |
Jboyossai:What if you get hit by a bus tomorrow? |
Very possible the man poisoned the woman o ![]() |
edogirl2:Don't mind the greedy people who will come and condemn you. Your proposals are fair enough. Resource control really has no chance of being put in place in Nigeria for the next few decades. The smart play is to negotiate an increase in the derivation payments and build on that. |
ebrahym:I'm not sure why you keep focusing on the RAM. 2GB is enough. And the extra 1GB RAM is an EXTREMELY strange thing to focus on when deciding on an upgrade. More important stuff are Screen size/ resolution / Type Camera quality CPU GPU Build quality Company track record with upgrades Not sure how much real world difference you'll see if you focus only on the RAM. |
You know what is called a 'red flag'? Internal warnings and alarms...such as when a seller who has been selling small scale, older stuff like 2003 Corollas, 2009 CRV now suddenly lists a 2014 G63 AMG for 3.7 million naira, and insists it's 'negotiable'. This better be a typo... |
saintandsinnerz:Sorry, but Buhari is already planning to tackle the obstacles in Nigeria's path by cracking down on corruption, intolerance, impunity, oil bunkering and mismanagement of utilities, among others. Of course there are some recommendations there that are simple common sense that we never needed a conference to tell us. We expect Buhari to tackle those as part of his Change. But nobody cares for many of those self-serving recommendations like the arbitrary creation of states. GEJ had a year to implement the recommendations. He failed to do so. GEJ promised to implement recommendations if re-elected. Nigerians kicked him out. Doesn't that tell you that the average Nigerian Does not see this as a priority? You guys should keep quiet and let a true patriot work |
Nigerians voted in Buhari for Change and good governance, not to implement any rubbish report from a conference that his party never supported. Ask Tony uranta why GEJ's administration never finalized and passed the petroleum industry bill. |
iyobs7:Why call you 'heartless' when you're clearly brainless? |
Firefire:Your own case is even more pathetic. Reports are spreading about the obscene amounts of money spent in the re-election campaign by the PDP, running into figures well over 1tr. One would have thought that those of you e-warriors that are paid less than 20k to spread propaganda would be very upset at getting just crumbs, but here you are, soldering on! May 29th, Change comes to Nigeria. That is all that matters |
Bonethugss:Your own case is even more pathetic. You continue to swallow the ignorant and silly mantra that northerners are foolish. Many people in the south want change, but a whole lot in the North want change too, and we're fully capable of voting to ensure that change. Your insinuation that it is only voters in the south that think about Change is just plain silly. |
PervyByNature:Because no makeup. The 'basic chicks' you know with makeup will look like ayamatanga when they go makeup free ![]() |
Flets:If you have to ask what possible different approach can be used, you are part of the problem. GEJ did the barest minimum when it came to corruption. Tragic for you that you believed that made up BS 'strengthening our systems' claptrap. People who break the law and steal from millions of Nigerians are not punished and you're there, grinning and cheering. Flets:He didn't lose. We got rid of him. Very sensible minds understand that shallow sycophants like yourself are still roaming around, attempting to spread BS fantasies about GEJ's mediocre performance. Change is here. Change will deliver. Or the people will strike again. |
jamace:Loyalty to the President does not even begin to Cover the rubbish Marilyn Ogar was doing. Abi DSS was not loyal during the Obasanjo years? I suggest you read the constitution. The security forces are mandated by law to respect the fundamental human rights of Nigerians and they are not to involve themselves in politics. |
This is a pretty bizarre topic, and it seems more like a circlejerk for unintelligent folks to opine about the 'evils of the West'. There is no definition of the word 'influence' that makes it exclusively refer to good people. And a good portion of the annual Time list has always been reserved for villains that wield considerable influence. The OP displays a distressing level of idiocy. |
I don't know why people keep responding to these trolls. Election season is over and TANoids are getting hungry. Their Transformation and Forward Nigeria apps on their phones have not been updated in a long while. The era of FFK, Okupe and Abati retweeting their inane tweets is over. In desperation, they have now resorted to posting trollbait on Nairaland in the hopes that their former paymasters can see they are still 'working' and continue to dash them money. I wonder why that @showyourcertificate fellow still will not change that moniker. Here is Buhari showing off his certificate of election as President-elect ![]() https://static.pulse.ng/img/incoming/origs3621796/35155657-w644-h429/Buhari-certificate-2.jpg |
anonimi:Am I supposed to list your expectations for you? You draw up your own baseline list of things Buhari should deliver before you support him. And then hold him to that. My point is clear: We accept mediocre leadership in Nigeria because we are too easily satisfied. Of Buhari improves power but fails to contain Boko Haram, corruption and oil bunkering, he would be a failure. |
aguiyi:This has NOTHING to do with 'one Nigeria'. Comments made by that Igbo man talking about 'controlling 70% of investments' are disrespectful to the indigenes and others there and unnecessary. Nigeria is rife with 'indigene-settler' tension, and there is no need for folks to keep stoking fires that need no fuel. aguiyi:This is not the '60s. You will be shocked to see how few folks will actually vote for secession when all the ramifications are considered. It is becoming tiresome to see some of you folks waving the secession flag at every opportunity. There are bad stereotypes all round, but you and your folks must strive not to fuel the wrong stereotype that you make poor guests. |
illiad:You are 'concerned about the safety of your country' yet you praise the President whose inaction led to the deaths of thousands, a significant loss of territory and foreign troops in our country? I won't even concern myself with your pitiful insults. |
MugabeRobert:Actually, your words condone the violent acts and you are implying tacit support. You are also making the inane assertion that most Nigerians in south Africa are up to nefarious purposes. |
gaetano:Keep watching with your hate-filled eyes. The rest of us Patriots will look to Buhari for good governance.... Which encompasses a whole lot of things. Including security, power, respect for human rights, a strong anti-corruption campaign and a restoration of Nigerian pride. If Buhari does not deliver, we vote out APC in 2019. |
chidekings:... Because Russia and China themselves are not good puppet masters? You guys know nothing about history. Any big power allying with you will seek to use you. Nothing wrong with being a friend to all, let them court you with gifts. Dine with the devil with long spoon and you'll be fine. Jonathan was trying to dine with a teaspoon. |
