Meanwhile those who believe they are born-to-rule continue formenting trouble through terrorists and political traitors in-house, trying to distract the president from the needed transformation of the decay he inherited just three years ago.

What kind of prayer can one say for such people who want to drag us back and hold us down as they have done for the almost four decades that they effectively had power at the centre huh

Utter tosh!!

Speak a language I can understand!

Fvck grammys - Drake won the best rap album last year over Nas' album. And the greatest rap album of all time, "Illmatic" never won a grammy award - same of the top-10 greatest rap albums. That's how garbage the grammys is - Fvck the grammys!

And where did I say ASAP Rocky is better than Canibus? I said I'm a fan of ASAP and Harlem rap (though ASAP is more into the Houston sound), does that mean I said he's better than Canibus?

You little nyggahs need to shut up, if you can't provide REAL proofs to show Em's greatness!
When you say

^^^^I now see why Em's multi-syllable words turned most of you simpletons into his fans. Most of you can barely write or speak the language, so big words make you go ga-ga, nah? grin I bet most of you are also canibus fans!!!
and then say you're a fan of ASAP Rocky, it does sound like you're implying he's better than Canibus.

The Grammies isn't a perfect representative of the best out there, but it DOES tend to reward good music. Good or very good or sometimes even great music. Not 'average' like you're hell bent on forcing down our throats that Eminem is.

Every single one of those outlets lauding Illmatic (Source, Vibe, Rolling Stone etc) all laud Eminem as a LEGEND. Doesn't matter how long you argue or rant or rave, everyone knows Eminem's place as one of the greats is assured.

Keep hyping yourself as an 'OG'. using words like 'garbage' and 'average' to refer to Eminem (even in the last few years) just paints you as the exact opposite. I don't have to bring proof that you're wrong or your knowledge is flawed, you're doing a very good job of showing us that yourself cheesy

shymexx: Did you read my posts? - I said right now, Em is garbage/trash-can. And he has been average since the "Slim Shady" LP. All the polls you listed were invaded by white kids - and Tupac won the "Best Rapper of All time" poll.

Honestly, what do you guys like to in rap? Sighs! - the same Eminem J. Dilla never rated, nah? And the same guy that has been rapping about basically the same thing since 2001? The gods of rap are pissed off right now!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Bros, you for talk say you no know anything about rap...or even about Eminem.
Abeg don't let anyone say Eminem has been 'rapping about the same thing since 2001'.

So Marshal Mathers LP (silliness, Slim Shady persona) is now about the same theme as Recovery and Relapse (Drug addiction, recovery and redemption)?

Abeg now we know you haven't listened to anything from Eminem in a decade now.

When he won Grammies for Best Rap Album for Recovery and Relapse, where were you? Abi 2010 don become 2003?

Abeg ask all those people you're naming (in your bid to form street knowledge)if dem don ever do any track as good as "Lose Yourself".

When you're in a hole, STOP DIGGING. You're clearly way in over your head here. No decent rapper alive will call Eminem 'average'.

Imagine even hyping ASAP Rocky over Canibus cheesy

Pastor Fatoyinbo will speak at the appropriate time, when directed by God and not due to pressure from this chit of a girl and her supporters.
Come to think of it she can not even produce the non existent 'evidence' she claims to have.

We have accepted the poor state of security in Nigeria, the rampant corruption and the rising theft of crude oil in the creeks. Accepting the demise of our University system would be the last straw.

ono: @james_ibor,
That's the ''class'' distinction and ''degree'' thing the British expat explained from the start of his article. It's not like the corruption plague is not rampant in other places of the world. But the one in Nigeria is UNIQUE. It's a SPECIAL kind, and like X-Imhotep rightly pointed out, it's in OUR genetic make up. Corruption par excellence. The classless type where a PhD holder, if allowed to rule the country, will not do anything different from what a street urchin will do.

I have seen that many folks on this board can read articles, and reading they sure do very well - like my little 6-year old girl. But when it comes to comprehension, it's a different kettle of fish altogether. Many Nigerian ''readers'' can hardly comprehend what's been read. It has degenerated to that level. Yes. So so sad.
My brother, you are 100% correct. How anyone with a brain can disagree with this analysis is frankly beyond me.

99cent: I think people like YOU are one of the problems of the country.
Nigeria is corrupt everyone knows that. I'm only asking you how another "corrupt nigeria" article will change the country. answer d question.
More 'Nigeria is corrupt' articles will help to shame people like you who are very happy with the status quo into improving your sphere of influence. That is the answer to the question

99cent: if you have any critical thinking skills or sense you will see that even the oyinbo guy himself said he will stay in Nigeria (he's most likely making a LOT of cool cash to do so) and he will survive comfortably because he knows the system and can play the game. hahahahahahahah that is the KEY to the whole article right there that nobody is talking about.

He has chosen to participate in the corruption in order for him to stay in Nigeria and continue making money as an expat in the oil and gas industry. since he is NOT nigerian and corruption is a "Nigerian" thing, he can comfortably participate in corruption and blame it on Nigerians because corruption is inherently a "Nigerian characteristic."
He chose to return to a country/job where he was making a difference and getting paid legitimately for his efforts. Where do you read that he is there to 'participate in the corruption'?
In your madness and imbecility, you do not realize that the author NEVER said 'corruption is a Nigerian characteristic'. In fact, he repeatedly pointed out that corruption is everywhere. What the heck is wrong with you? Can't you read? Are you not educated? Was your English teacher corrupt?

he stressed that corruption exists everywhere. What he pointed out was the sheer scale and audacity of corruption, even for the little things that would be overlooked in a corruption riddled country like Russia.

People like you are part of the problems of this country. poorly educated, intellectually challenged apologists who cannot see the truth even if it bit them in the arse. Whether your responses are from poorly reasoned faux-patriotism or just plain imbecility, you're coming out to defend the indefensible.

Don't blame ASUU. Blame the people who elected this lame duck president who, in a 2011 debate, said that the only problem Nigerian Universities face today is 'poor hostel accommodation'.

Only in Nigeria do you see Doctors, Nurses, University lecturers et al poorly remunerated and people expect wonders from these essential workers.
