Apple sells certified refurbished phones that are practically indistinguishable from brand new. Battery is changed out, outer shell is changed to a new one, and packaging is new, with all cables and accessories in place.

You see someone in a pool of his blood and you day he was killed by a Ghost.

Illiteracy is a problem.

Most likely, grave robbers quarreled, fought among themselves and one killed the other. In a sane society, the police would be taking fingerprints off the digging equipment to help identify suspects. But here they will just claim it was the ghost, and his corpse will be deposited at the nearby mortuary for anatomy students to dissect.

If you're to be really dispassionate about this, a police officer who has been found to have knowingly colluded with a notorious fraudster to kidnap and assault a civilian, and who took bribes to perpetrate that act should be dismissed, prosecuted and jailed.

It is actually sentiments that is driving your insistence on a 'soft landing' for this man.

Perhaps it is more real and prevalent in your world of sphere of contact but where I am with the numbers of people I know every where, no news so far on this covid-19 debacle. Everyday in my town we go about our normal life. General hospital is very close to me, nothing is coming out from there. I am in Warri if you should know. All this high figures are due to the next agenda. They want to control your life that was the original plan, of those who orchestrated the COVID-19 from the beginning, the earlier you know this the better for you.
My uncle in the village in Edo State told me the same thing last year.
He laughed when I spoke to him. "we don't know COVID, the only thing we know is Malaria"

He died this year on February 2nd. COVID 19 killed him. He died gasping, as they desperately looked for oxygen cylinders for him.

I don't know a single person who has died of Malaria in my sphere. Not a single person. Imagine how it would sound if I come out to say that there's no malaria and all the tales of tens of thousands of malaria deaths per year is all a big lie.

Enebulele osahon is not saying the truth, Nigerian doctors are the problems in Nigeria health industry, they are so greedy, nurses are more hardworking than them, nurses do more work than doctors.
Doctors want to head all the department in hospital, doctor want to head cleaners, doctor want to head messengers, doctor want to head nurses, doctor want to head scientists, doctor wan to head radiographers, doctor want to head pharmacist, doctor still want be overalls hospital head, yet na doctors dey shout "international best practices " where in western world Is a doctor appointed a minister of health? The Nigerian doctors are not actually doing their jobs that the real problem. They are busy hustling private practice with government time.

This is not govt fault.

our docs are lacadesical. I know sabi spell this word o, but i sabi talk am. chai!
You see the problem with Nigerians.

You have no facts and figures. Instead of accepting what doctors are saying, you’re busy parroting a brainless talking point.
How many doctors do you think have their private practice? if so many doctors have private practice, why do we have so few clinics in Nigeria? do
You know how many doctors are out there looking for employment ?

If most patients are being abandoned by doctors for their private practice, why have you not seen a much bigger outcry from neglected patients?

The irony is that most of you cannot afford good private healthcare, but you’re so resolute to run down and criticize public health care professionals.

Career › Re: Is Data Analytics A Promising Career Path? by texazzpete(m): 12:18pm On Aug 16, 2021
ajoke1824:
I sincerely hope this hits frontpage as I need as many sensible responses as possible.

This is going to be a really long one.

I'm a 21 year old penultimate student of one of Nigeria's federal universities.

I'm one of those, I can never work under a boss. I'd rather have my own business people. However, this choice took a different turn the relationship I thought was going to lead me through the isle ended in the mud. I eventually figured out that my decision to own my own business and not get a job were influenced by three things:

1. My life was wrapped around the guy I was in a relationship with. I didn't really have a life of my own. My ambition when I was with him was mostly to start a business, finish my first degree, and be a sit-at-home mum and wife. I kicked against getting a second degree and even rejected two sponsorships to relocate to Canada because I wanted to be with my man (my mumu no get part two that time).

2. I saw how badly my mom was treated at her place of work by her boss(es). I'd usually get angry and eventually vowed never to get a job.

3. I considered myself someone who's not brilliant and smart enough for the cooperate world. (Low self-esteem).

The nonsense relationship ended in a terrible way but I eventually picked up myself and moved on. Now, I'm beginning to love the cooperate world but choosing a career path has become a headache. I've been totally confused. Some of my classmates are taking ICAN and ACCA. Some are also taking CFA courses (I'm studying economics) but I have no interest in CFA, ICAN or ACCA.

I spoke with a friend of mine and he advised me to consider data analysis but I have my doubts and fears. So many questions have been ringing in my head.

How do I choose a career path that I don't eventually get frustrated with at the end of the day?

How promising is Data analysis as a career path?

What's the average pay in this field.

I'd really love to thread a path where I have even the slightest spark of passion but I can't seem to connect my passion with data analysis.

Is passion important in choosing a career path?

It feels like I've been wasting my life all these years on a man so much that the only passions I have are:

1. Writing (I earned a few naira notes during the lockdown from this)
2. Hair styling (I fantasize about this and even beg people to let me make their hair)
3. Selling (I really love to sell)

What else? Nothing.

If I'm going to be sincere and truthful to myself, those three things are the only things that truly make sense to me when it comes to earning but I feel I should do more and spend some time in the cooperate world.

Wait, tell me y'all understand what I wrote up there because my mind is all over the place right now and I don't know what to think anymore.

Thank you in advance.
It’s an extremely high potential path, with potentially lucrative outcomes. Go for it.

A friend went overseas to do her MSc in Data Science just last year. She already has a job in a nearby European country, working with one of the big 5 Tech companies.

Make that move !
