@Sagamite, members of his church have started to fight back, a user on this forum, 1wiseman who apparently has a masters degree and also a member of his church wrote on "Dr Sign Fireman:Man of God or Man of Money" (another topic on Pastor Fireman) that Fireman was "seriously edited" to suit the purpose of the producers and also the producers were outside smoking during most of the service, 1wiseman also said Dr Fireman feels betrayed by the producers. taskgirl is another user singing the praises of Fireman, i think its his receptionist or one of his cronies who have bn asked to big him up.

i visited his Fireman's facebook wall page, his naive, vulneable and poor members were saying they were standing by him and were happy with the way he was conning healing them.

It's better for me to give money to beggars on our streets than to give it to such kind of people. I think God will appreciate it more if i give it to the needy. Most of the pastors of nowadays will brainwash people to bring their hard earned money to them in the name of supporting the word of God. i prefer to grab a copy of bible and read the word of God myself instead of going to some dubious pastors that will interpret the same word of God out of its context to their own benefit. Pastors of Nowadays don't even associate themselves with the poor again {if not during offering time} letalone helping them, instead they will give u prayer points to pray urself to success while they become successful with the offerings they collect from their hopeful members who most of times will continue keeping their hopes alive till they enter ground. I pity their members sha.

The title of the book is the beautiful bride written by Muyiwa Oguntoyinbo, u can get the book fron laterna bookshop. After reading the book you will see what and how tithes and offerings should be administered.

Fireman is a CON man believe it or not, at the strategy meeting with the wannabe fake pastors, these were his words " advertising what the church can do in terms of miracles and healing, generating money from congregation is key to growth and the surplus money will be used to open more branches" he's a clever man, he's not running a business, he's running a business to generate more money for himself.

The part where one of the fake wannabe Pastor said " Pastor Fireman picked me up from the gutter, within 5 months, i had 3 cars, desighner clothes, it like Magic" that was sooooo funny.

The woman that the Pastor cast demons out of, turned out to be his receptionist, it was funny when the reporter asked her if she had recovered, she siad she could not remember.

I really enjoyed the documentary, despite the fact it lasted for 30ominutes but i have to say 98% of Pastors in Nigeria would not have allowed a film crew to follow their every move, the reporter asked to speak to some of them but they declined, so a big thank you to Pastor Fireman and Chris for at least trying to show viewers how they con their congregation.

"Unreported World" this Friday on Channel 4 at 7.30pm are investigating/repoting how religion is a big business in Nigeria, they report on how Pastors are promising the dream of escaping poverty, they report how Pastors have turned their churches into BIG corporations, I saw the preview it was cringing they interviewed a pastor who drove a hummer, the reporter (Seyi Rhodes) asked the fake Pastor while he owned a hummer which was expensive the fake Pastor replied Jesus was not poor, hmmm
