Foreign Affairs / Re: Up To 500,000 Protestors Attend Anti-cuts Demonstrations by thameamead(f): 12:29pm On Mar 31, 2011
According to the Daily Mail, many of the protesters are not ur council estate yobs, they are mostly middle-class, well spoken and from rich homes, I admire the way the whole thing was arranged via twitter, it's a shame big business like Top Shop, Vodafone, Boots and Fortnum and Mason evade tax, I support their cause but I don't support their violence, The owner of Top Shop avoided paying £215M in tax by employing clever accountants, Fortnum and Mason avoided £40M in tax and even donated money to the Conservative paty, Vodafone managed to avoid paying £6Bin tax while the owners of the Ritz -The Barclays Brothers who also own The Daily Telegraph do not pay a penny in tax, the list goes on and on, these people are all supporters of the Conservative Party, these are the sort of people that do business in Africa, but don't want to pay tax, they make millions in oil exploration in places like Africa but when it comes to paying tax they jump ship, Tullow Oil made billions from exploring oil in Uganda and later sold the oil fields for millions but refused to pay over £100M in tax, that £100M would have done wonders in Uganda, it would have built schools, hospital, affrica is exploited by everyone expecially china.

Politics / Re: Libyan Rebel Flag Looks Similar To The Biafran Flag by thameamead(f): 12:26pm On Mar 11, 2011
It was reported on Channel 4 news last night that African immigrants (Ghana and Nigerina's) had bn let down by their governments, the asian's have all bn sent home while African's have bn left behind to fend for themselves, a couple of days ago, I saw the charity "Islamic Relief" handing out food to Pakistan's and Indian's and helping them get Unto a boat to take them to Malta, there was also another footage of the arriving in Pakistan. why can African leaders help out their citizens, most of the african are illegal immigrants but that does not mean they should be abandoned, I rang the Nigerian High Commission a few minutes to speak to the Ambassador, i was asked to leave my number and that he was going to get back to me but I doubt he would call me back, I asked his secretary to pass on my message.

Good on AW for defending him, trust the right-wing media that wants a cap on foreign players to milk the strory, Rio Ferdinard had a similar problem a couple of yrs ago, he's back on form so fingers crossed for Kolo, his wifey is a bit over-weight so it could be true.

Crime / Nigerian Crooks In £1million Benefit Scam by thameamead(f): 11:15am On Mar 03, 2011
An ex council flat is said to house 500 PEOPLE in a benefit fraud which has cost taxpayers at least 1£Million. Nigerian crooks have used the three-bedroom house to steal family tax credits and child benefits using the names of unsuspecting real people. Corrupt insiders at the Department for Work and Pensions supplied the IDs of genuine claimants whose benefits ended after they got jobs. The gang them made new claims from 25 Brookstone Court in Peckham, South East London, direct debit benefit payments were routed to Nigeria. The con exploited the weakness of Government computer systems which failed to spot the same address. A source said:"We believe it went on for several years and easily involves over 1£Million, or higher." The co-owner of the flat- bought for £67,000 from Southwark Council in 2004 was arrested last week. Akinmayone Aiyeloa was quizzes over allegations of conspiracy to defraud over £20,000. Two DWP employees have also been arrested and dismissed, further arrests are expected. Officials believe similar scams are being run nationwide. Benefit fraud costs the country £5.5billion a year. A source said "This is just one element of a huge swindle, "A weakness has been detected and exploited by foreign gangs, we are talking about many millions being stolen when a simple computer programme could have stopped it. When The Sun called at 24 Brookstone Court, there was no answer.
A neighbour said: About four people live there, but no family.

Him and Rotimi Williams own lot's of properties in Ibadan especially in Bodija, he owns Lister as well, a flour mill in Ilorin and an oil field, he was friends with Abacha before Abacha became President so Abacha must have given him huge contracts, apparently in Abacha days he use to go to Abuja every Friday to pay with Abacha in Aso Rock, he's also generous to his children's friends according to a reliable source.

It's Mufatau Lanihun that apparently never sleeps in his own house, wow! I miss Ibadan sooooooooo much, too much gossip, too much rumours, too much hear say, I wonder what Mufutau Lanihun is up to these days, his son in Holland seem to be rolling in money in Holland, HMMM

*Cougar*:

he had a mobile police unit as his security so they took him to safety whilst cultists looted the contents of his bulletproof limousine. after the mayhem, 5 million naira and assault rifles were declared missing.

he shipped 14 of his children(at once) to buckingham university in 96-97 circa.

14 ke?I live in St John's Wood so I tend to see them all the time, some currently @ Buckingham as we speak, i'll say more than 14 graduated from Buckingham because they throw a graduation party for someone @ Buckingham atleast once yr but I don't blame him jare, Buckingham offers a two yr degree which is recogonised everywhere especially their LLB which is top ten according to the Times Education Supplement, most rich people in Nigeria send their kids to Bukingham from the former Governor of Oshogho (oyinlola) to the Governors in the Norhern States.

He is into flour and oil but I respect the man o, he's got lots of kids, half of them went to the private university - Buckingham, he's got lot's of expensive mansions in NW, i attended Queens School Secondary School Apata which some of his daughters attended as well, there were lots of them back then, they had a huge bus that use to bring them to school but i was not in the same league at his kids, they were premier league while i was a divison 3, i remember his huge houses in Bodija back then, his kids were the happening buys and girls throwing parties with the D'Rovans boys here and there in those days,

Foreign Affairs / Re: Protest Begins In Libya by thameamead(f): 1:41pm On Feb 21, 2011
Gadaffi apparently brought in merceneries fron Chad and Nigeria to fire @ protesters, they are bn paid $18,500 dollars to fire @ protesters because his army is split, half are siding with the protesters while the other half are fighting side by side with the mercenaries.

His son's statement last nite was a joke, he tried to blame illegal immigrants for the protests, sadly all the weapons used to fire @ proetsters have got made in England on them, journalists have bn banned by Gadaffi, internet and electricity blocked so its dificult to know what's really happening, I can't see a Revolution in Libya am afraid unless the merceneries turn on him but I cannot see that happening because they are getting paid a lot of money to shoot to kill, I remember that good-looking son of his paying Beyounce $1M to sing for him two yrs ago, the pictures were splashed in the Daily Mail.

Gadaffi is a despot, tyrant, military dictatorship with an authorithian regime but Europe who happen to be one of his trading partners would do absolutely nothing because of his oil and gas reserves especially Italy whose deal is with Libya is about 39%. China and Russia are libya's biggest trading partners, they both have a lot of things in common wit Libya, dissidents face torture and a terrible human rights record.
