I dont understand. Has punch newspapers degenerated to the the point of sniffing through secondary school magazines? So so scandalous. With all the thousands of professional bodies' magazines in Nigeria, and NYSC magazines in all the states, not to talk of the hundreds of magazines from institutions of higher learning in Nigeria. It is news of one obscure, private secondary school in ondo that punch newspaper is talking about.

INEC really surprised me today. In fact, it all still seemed like a magic to me. Please read on…

I did my registration in 2011 at Owo Local Government, Ondo State. The registration process was about closing so I took time to register even though I knew I won’t come back to vote there (I reside in Lagos). When I learnt I couldn’t register again in 2015, I felt perplexed and just lost interest in the whole process. No way I was going back to Owo to collect my PVC. I barely even know the town and considering time constraint too.

After witnessing what happened at Ekiti elections, I took it upon myself to get my PVC whatever it's going to take. I took time off work today to visit INEC office – Alimosho LGA, Lagos. I went with my voter’s temporal slip, international passport, NIN slip and NYSC credentials (Yeah I took it lol!). I was super prepared for any document they’ll request.

I explained my plight to the official and he said I should verify my details online before proceeding. www. voters. inecnigeria. org (Please mind the way the link was typed). I punched in my details and hoola I saw my previous registration details. He told me to go and print it at a nearby café and submit at the second office.
On submission, the friendly lady brought out a transfer form and filled my details for me. She also brought out the database of all polling centres in Lagos and told me to pick the one nearest to where I reside. I did and she stapled the online print out with the transfer form. I signed beneath the page and she tore the slip for me. That was all

She said I should come back in November with the slip to collect my new PVC. She also said I would be notified via text message when the card is ready.

My joy knew no bounds as I stepped out of INEC office – Alimosho Local Government. I’ve heard a lot about INEC and their slow process but today changed my orientation entirely. I didn’t pay a dime or bribe anybody. It was 100% free. In fact, I didn’t spend up to 15mins.
For as many that are in my shoes, you can now collect your PVC and transfer your polling unit without stress. Please visit the nearest INEC office today to get your PVC.

I have no issue with the engines shut off per se, who knows maybe he did send the command but the wires were damaged. My issue is the turn.

I heard two people died in the crash ... I noticed the left engine was on fire and was still left on instead of being killed and the fire extinguished , it's seems the pilot intentionally left it on to try to stretch his glide as far as he could which clearly shows the right engine must have completely stopped working earlier .... Off the top of my head I can guess that both engine must have sucked in some external debris at the same time .e.g like a flock of small birds , hail , stones or even a swarm of locusts..

I still have a pending wrong debit alert (N20,000) First Bank to Diamond bank since 2015, make them help me recover am with the interest. I actually tried sending the money to Lil sis in school but made a mistake of one of the digits. According to Diamond bank, a lien was placed on the account wrongly credited, however the money is yet to be refunded 3 years after

It was major, it is behind my office and we all had to leave the building. It is a UBA bank building, there are other companies in the building. Fire started from the generator. The Generator and diesel tanks caught fire. A car in the premises also caught fire. Their neighbors,Total and NNPC, helped them a lot with their fire trucks before Lagos state’s Fire Service came

no. UBA pension is quite different. Pencom oversees pension companies while CBN oversees banks

I believe it's not possible to make a transaction to a wrong bank, I think each bank have their own account code. So the money will be reversed.

since it was a wrong bank, probably no customer of the other bank has that account no, so the money will sit in the other bank's suspense account. Reversal will be easy.
