Send a compassionate plea to them attaching your flight itinerary. Don't forget to include your tracking number and passport number in the letter. Copy the letter to the main mail space not as an attachment cos I heard theyy hardly open attachments with no reference in the main mail. Pinkcandy97: I am new here. I applied for my study permit (paper route ) on the 30th of July. Got my medical call on the 11th of August. Did my Medicals on the 18th and since then, nothing from CIC. How long do I have to wait because I already bought my ticket for the 8th of this month |

Just as I was about sending a mail to CIC this morning I got a mail from them requesting for my dad's passport. Thank you so much. The passport will be taken to the VFS office tomorrow but how long will it take to get it back? |

Someone requested for it at IOM on the day of medicals and he was told that he couldn't get it and it was for CIC's use only. Maybe there's a process for requesting it sha since you say CIC says you can berexio1: Did any of you who did medical ask for a copy of ur medical results? I read from CIC that you can request for it. Did anyone actually do this? And were u given? |

You have obviously not been following this thread. I'll advise you to read back and see that medicals don't guarantee trv. I don't mean to discourage you or anything but facts are facts. Goodluck bolajibreeze: They are usually medicals done upfront. I'm just saying tho |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by TheBae: 11:55am On Aug 28, 2015 |
@Torishe is the visiting visa out yet? I sent them 3 emails daily for the past 3 days and the passport got dispatched today. If you're running out of time, i'll advise you to send them a COMPASSIONATE PLEA regarding the application and attach a ticket booking itinerary (you don't have to pay for the ticket). I know 3 people who have done this in the past week and got their visiting visas few days after |

Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by TheBae: 10:23pm On Aug 27, 2015 |
Read Part 8 to see victims of denial after medicals. You can be denied for reasons such as "Purpose of Visit", "Insufficient Funds", etc. Read the medical mail well and you will see that medicals is at your own risk and your application is still under review. This mainly happens during rush hour. bolajibreeze: But not reasons regarding wat eva document you submitted prior, i.e. Proof of funds and all that. I think it depends on if u fail it or if u ve identity problems |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by TheBae: 10:08pm On Aug 27, 2015 |
Passing medicals does not guarantee TRV. Your application can still be refused for other reasons bolajibreeze: After doing medicals for undergrad student permit does it mean you're at least safe to some extent except you fail your medical? DO THEY REJECT AFTER CALLING FOR MEDICAL |

Stop spamming the thread. Google the list of schools in Canada, look through the programs, choose 1 or 2 schools and look through the requirements of the program you want and apply if you qualify aliACCA: GOOD day house, i'm ALI from Ghana..just graduated from University where i studied political science. Currently, i intend to divert into finance. I want to know my chance of gaining admission in this field and any recommendation as to which university i should look at....

2 or 3 pages at most is sufficient. If I were you, I'd do 2pgs to properly address all possible issues that may arise. Don't leave any stone unturned. These VOs can guess/assume the worst things so leave no chance for ambiguity oppytexu: Ok thanks so much, I will see to that! Like how many pages can my sop be cos I was careful of not more than one page the last time |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TheBae: 7:01pm On Aug 22, 2015 |
^^^ I'm in no way an expert but here is my humble advice. @oppytexu Do away with that 3-year sham course. You will need a very tight SOP explaing why you finished uni at that age, explain the school issues and why you haven't had much work experience. Your SOP needs to address your study gap which will in turn explain why you have that balance in your SOA (It's not so low but they obviously expected more). Use your family members here, asset and study leave to your advantage (even though they won't buy it cos you've worked there for just a year. Let your cousin/boss explain how indispensable you are to the company in a reference letter). Package well and ask the elders here for help doing that. Good luck |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TheBae: 6:34pm On Aug 22, 2015 |
The point is that Travel History is the least of your worries. IMO, Purpose of Visit means they do not beleive you're actually going to study or they just are not even comfortable with your course at all to begin with so you need to find out why and fix that first. Does your program of study reflect academic progession in the same field as your UG? As for the others, how old are you? Are you married? Do you have a good job here and do you have a study leave letter (depending on how long you have worked there)? Depending plon your age, they may feel like you dont have enough assets and finances. Did you write a good SOP? Give details that can enable people here help you out oppytexu: Please can you explain the everything else? I understand travel history, personal asest which I have a land worth of 1m and salary account worth 800k plus fixed deposit of 500k. I still understand purpose of visit due to length of the visit. Then family ties in Candan and home country is what I'm worried about coz My immediate elder bro traveled to canada in May and left in June for conference with all travelled doc included in my doc. Please help ooo |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TheBae: 6:15pm On Aug 22, 2015 |
Bros, your major reasons for denial are everthing else but Travel History Edit* so I'm glad you're looking at other programs. Sorry about your previous delay oppytexu: Hello house! I posted about my refusal the last time. Attached below are the VO reason for refusal and sincerely I can't really picture the real reason except for travel history... Also I attached the list of documents submitted! Just need guidelines applying to another school for winter on Monday! Please I need advise on how to tackle the reasons Thanks |

That's why I gave the condition of if he is a partner. If he is, then he can present it as an asset. But I agree with @thesoj that he doesn't need to write his SOP on a company letterhead. It's a personal explanation from him and not the company. + of what essence is that when he's already going to present the CAC docs and SOA to tackle personal assets berexio1: My guy, u are not getting it..anything he has as partnership is his property whether in an company or outside a company....This is not to be debated..For the single fact he is a director, that coy belongs to him..jointly though |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TheBae: 3:25pm On Aug 22, 2015 |
Do you own the company? Are you a partner in the company? If not, I think doing that would be very wrong. Best you can do is to show that the job will be waiting for you when you come back. Maybe @thesoj can shed more light on this Thomby2k12: Gurus in the house, I'm a co-director of a company and my aunt the managing director; can I use the company as part of my personal asset?
Also can I use the company's letterhead to write my SOP? |
